Yay! Neeko's in big pants you next Kate

Moon sending a whole big sandpit over to you but oooh I'm secretly going

Neeko · 07/10/2009 19:22

Thanks again for your thoughts today. Sorry i've not been very good at responding to texts. DD is a poor wee soul and I'm shattered due to being up all night with her.

My usually battleaxe of a MW was lovely today and told me it's no trouble to check for HB anytime I'm worried which is a relief in itself. She found HB really quickly then Wriggler dived away and she spent the next 5 mins in pursuit. It was quite difficult for her to get the heart rate as baby was moving so much but cameout at 150bpm, which she said was perfect - I have no idea. It was the best sound in the whole world!

Cupcake Think the sobbing's the way to go - good luck.

4ever sorry for worrying you Won't be long now til you get the first glimpse of your little bean.

Iggy all you can do is wait and see.

Moon Here's my big hug to you

Barbie Lovely things your mum brought. Layer some baby soap between them while packed away to make them smell all baby.

Jools Hang in there. You're strong enough for this.

cupcake I think that hoping is ok she just has things to do in rl and I think she may just need to step aside for a little while.

moon heartburn and one of those spots...oh my.. sending you several more buckets of sand with assorted shells and some seaweed to make a nice soothing face mask for that spot.

mrskate how did you woosh to 16 weeks? lovely to hear that dh is excited and that you are ok.

barbie It made me cry to actually read that you are finally at a stage where you can look at baby clothes I am sooo pleased for you. I guess the little pains result from you all your bits and pieces stretching and accomodating your growing bean, its all good.

jools I am glad that you are finding a way to get through these few weeks, love you heaps and please be a bit gentle on yourself in between all that frenetic activity.xxxx

4ever is busy hiding under her duvet until Monday when she has her scan. I expect this will have been one of the longest ever weeks in the history of weeble land. she feels terribly sick poor girl.

love to iggy I am sorry you feel broke lovely lady you made me think of that coldplay song. you will get there I just know it

Neeko · 08/10/2009 10:57

I heard from MLS this morning. She sends you all her love and says she'll be back quite soon.

MrsKate Good luck for the 22nd. the chicken suit is there if you need it.

Blueamericantellyaddict Hope it was good. DD had another bad night. Think I had about 4 hours sleep in total despite going to bed at 9.30 Feeling a bit rough myself today. Funny how kids won't share their toys but are free and easy with their germs

I would like to proudly state that in RL I'm still in my pre-conception pants Think I'd gone up two sizes by now with DD

Hope you all have a good day.

iggypiggy · 08/10/2009 16:42

anniebigpants · 08/10/2009 21:27

Evening all, just had quick read to catch up on pasr couple of days.
Neeko-lovely to see you in big pants now, soon to be joined by mrs KateBarbie-Have a good shopping spree, The stuff your mum brought across sounds lovely.

MLS-How are you doing hunny, thinking of you.

Mermaid-Hello lovely lady, your posts are always so thoughtful. Yum to porridge and syrup too

Will post properly tomorrow, off to bed soon, think im in for a disturbed night as DS came home from nursery poorly, he has a fever and is listless, he didnt want to sleep in his bed by himself tonight so is in our bed with DH and im going into DS,s bed, but i,ll have one ear open incase DS needs me during the night as DH leaves for work at 5am.
Sooo looking forward to starting maternity leave, my patients cant believe ive got less than 8 weeks left til i have this LO, they say i look like ive got ages to go yet, but i look huge to me, but not to anyone else apparently (well apart from DH who says he swears my bump is looking bigger by the day!)
5 weeks left at work-15 days!

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 10:52

Morning ladies
Well I called epu yesterday; they said I need a referral from my GP..I cried and basically told them my GP was a heartless bitch (obviously not in those words) who had already said no because I'd 'only' miscarried once...but they said there's nothing they can do. Fair enough, it's not their fault... but am just so frustrated by it all. How come everyone on this thread has had an early scan and I can't get one?
Anyway, sorry to moan...only 3 weeks today til my 12-week one so I guess will have to wait but will just be so upset with them all if things go wrong.
We had our church home group last night and our friend who's 7 wks pregnant was there- everyone was talking about it loads, dh and I felt quite weird not being able to say.
I'm having the craziest vivid dreams too, it's so weird. Dh said I was crying in the night a couple of days ago

Moon hooray to buying tests! but I'm sure they're hidden in the sand now

Blue I love a good American drama too! Currently watching House season 4 on dvd...love it.

Hi annie can't believe you only have 5 weeks til maternity! That has flown by...

Have I missed news about Sabs dh job? Really hope things worked out for him.

Right, on with the washing up...and I'm so having porridge for lunch today now mermaid

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 10:52

Ooh, and so pleased MLS will be coming back to us

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 10:54

D'oh, sorry to triple post but forgot our lovely iggy yes, I absolutely believe chilling out is the way to go. Ultimately it's about finding whatever works for you my lovely, some need to be pro-active, hers need to put their heads in the sand...I think I needed a mixture of both. Either way you will get there

bluesatinsash · 09/10/2009 13:07

Oh cupcake - at your EPU and the UK 'postcode lottery' of early pregnancy scans...

Take heart and hope that you are NINE weeks pregnant and have had no early bleeding or other worrying signs. Do you feel pg? Its torture the waiting game but really hope that no news is good news in your case and you have a lovely scan photo to tuck into your wallet in three weeks time .

Time to summon up your inner strength and resolve and just get through the next few weeks, big hug and hair stroke x

Hey everyone else, Moon - keeping everything crossed for your HPTs once you dig them out the sand .

Have a good weekend everyone x

mermaidspurse · 09/10/2009 14:35

okeydokey ladies just be in and out in a flash cos I am on a bit of a roll with my must do by friday list.

annie hope your dd is feeling better there are some nasty bugs around at the mo but I suppose it gets their immunity up for the winter.
15 days left at work, that will surely drag you must be cream crackered.

neeko also hoping your dd is feeling better. Porridge in the greenhouse at 7.30 sharp - cupcake how can you eat it for lunch sorry re your scan but you know lovely that you won't need it cos everything is just fine and well.xxxxxxx

iggy forgot to say you could casually saunter into drs and bring up the subject of ttcing, it never hurts to get some advice and may make you feel more on top of the whole thing. god I sound like a carry on film.

4ever is sending her love to everyone and wishing Monday here as fast as possible I think.

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 16:05

Oh dear sorry for my moaning
Thanks blue yes I do feel very pregnant- so tired I fell asleep at the bus stop yesterday and constant nausea..but I also know those symptoms can carry on with a mmc just hanging onto the fact it is definitely worse than the last time. (I'm 8+3 btw, they've booked me a bit early for the 12 wk scan)

mermaid the porridge and golden syrup was delicious for lunch just what I needed.

I'm crossing eyelashes for 4ever and Moon too

cupcakefairy · 09/10/2009 16:07

Oops, actually 8+2...obviously wishing the time away!

bakingqueen · 09/10/2009 17:14

Love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

barbie1 · 09/10/2009 18:26

Hi again girls....

i have been shopping today and after a shaky, tearful start i finally managed to find some things!

Lesson 1, never enter topshop when you already feel like a weeble....god i find that place so depressing now i went in with two things on my list, one isnt in dubai yet and the other they didnt have my size and the girl looked at me like i was a size 30 or something and smirked....bitch!....felt fat and unattractive but then found a sale rail with buy one get one free and they had mat jeans and a cute dress both in my size for 115 dhs...about 20 quid. Bargin!

Lesson 2, never let your dh measure your boobs using garden wire and a builders tape measure...he will be over zealous and add inches to your already playboy size boobs, so when you enter m&s looking for that size you will be there for over an hour before you realise that that size really doesnt exsist (well maybe in porno's) and you will have to be measured again....least i found the right size and have 3 bra's that fit.

Lesson 3, make sure you know where the nearest bathroom is all all times....the chances are you might just dribble if you sneeze in the middle of a busy shopping mall...thankgod for maxi dresses in my defence im sure the baby was pushing on my bladder!

4ever i hope you are resting....roll on monday! I really hope you are too stressed and are taking care of yourself, easier said than done i know

cupcake damn your doctor im with mermaid...i guess your bean doesnt need a scan? How about if we all put a down payment on your first book....and then spend the money on a scan 8 plus 2 already is a big adchievement, hang in there love....

jools ok? miss you x

mermaid must be getting chilly minus the pants...are you in your long johns yet

bakingqueen have fun tonight...im doing a little wiggle dance for you and moon annie only 15 more days wow...ive only 15 more weeks

Hello to everyone else...im off to skype my family will catch up with you all soon xx

BlueMoon1981 · 09/10/2009 19:32

oooh bq fingers crossed for you too

< sings a little song for keeping af away to go with barbie's wiggle dance >

Neeko · 10/10/2009 08:21

Morning all.
My toes are tapping while I have the laptop on my knee in a mini AF stay away dance. really hope all this dancing works. The medium pants bench is shrinking and needs re-stocked Seriously, BQ and Moon I am holding my breath and hoping lots.

Barbie well done for surviving the shopping. Know it's not glam but if the sneezing thing is becoming common (as it did for me with DD ) you should consider the Tena lady pantyliners. Yes they are aimed at 60+ but has to be better than wandering around in wet knickers.

Mermaid sorry I missed our porridge date yesterday Had ANOTHER disturbed night with DD and then had to try to muster the energy for work. On holiday now though which is a good job as we didn't get any more than 2o mins sleep at a time last night. BTW my DD is one of those odd children who doesn't like jelly or ice-cream (all odd things come from her father of course! )

4ever If you're lurking I'm thinking of you for Monday. This baby definitely doesn't need a scan but I hope you get to see a little bean on Monday anyway. I've lost track, will you be 6 weeks by then?

Cupcake speaking of not needing a scan, your bean is fine too. I'm really sorry that you feel deprived but in three weeks there'll be a wriggling, kicking, bouncing bean waving at you and your tears of joy will wipe out the ones of worry. Look at all you've survived in the past 12 months. waiting 3 weeks will be a walk in the park compared to that and it won't be long after that before your MW can hear the lo's HB on the doppler and reassure you whenever necessary. Big hug.

Iggy soeaking of big hugs, I'm sending you one too. It's hard to imagine it now but in a wee while life will get easier and you'll be a better and stronger mummy for all that you've been through. Keep the faith.

Annie 15 days Good for you. Hope your DS is feeling better. it seems to be germ central just now as MLS's DD is ill too. We need a good hard frost as my gran would have said.

Happy belated birthday to Gracie Hope you had a good one. Next year you'll have a super-sweet mummy card

My bump grew within a few hours yesterday Strange but nice and it's forcing me to believe in this LO...

Hi to everyone else. Hope you all do something nice this weekend.
