curly so lovely to see you back! We miss you

vjay optimus looks gorgeous

gg is also nice to see you back!

blue how are you getting on?

4ever I hope you wrapping yourself in cotton wool and lurking.

baking hope you doing ok? Have everything crossed that this is your month.

mrskate planting something is a lovely idea.

moon mls and jools I've been thinking about all of you and hoping you are all ok xx

Big waves to anyone I've accidentally missed off xx

I am feeling loads better today - I've noticed I always get miserable in the middle of my cycle around ovulation sort of time - and then right before AF and just after... but a couple of days and I start feeling better. So hopefully I can deal with that now and stop stropping off like a moody teenager!

Am trying to take mermaids advice and think that I will get PG again when my body is ready - feel like will never happen - but I guess if I chill out a bit it can only be good for me...

Feeling a bit of pressure this month as is my last chance to get PG before my edd - but I guess it's ok if I don't.... am trying to forget about counting days and just enjoy life - cos I am very lucky in lots of ways.

Sorry for the waffle - thank you all for being there. xx

whoooooppppppiiiiiieeeeee lion i did see the news last night but didnt have time to post....see i was right, a boy

So if im to be believed there is another bfp coming up in oct......

Spent most of yesterday in tears soooo worried about next scan but trying to hide it for the sake of my mum...think it just hit me that dh is away too and i had a stomach ache all day yesterday which worried me some what...however after a good cry to my mum and a nice long soak in the bath the little one decided to practice backflips and hand stands all of which i could see and feel feeling a tiny bit better after that. I can feel the shape of the little one, and can see where in the belly it is....its really low so it feels like im about to drop something out...i find myself holding my belly as i walk to almost hold it up/ in....weird arent i?

lion has the little one got a name yet?

Im at work so no time to post much more but im worried about the lack of post from jools hope you are ok hun???

Ill be back later xxxx

4everhopeful · 29/09/2009 13:20

Massive congrats to Lion & Babylioncub Your birth story brought tears to my eyes (not just the 91b bit ) but by the time DH was makin tea & jaffa cakes I was in floods! Well done you for the homebirth! Piccies & name asap please! Xxx

Barbiebravebigpants only natural you are gonna be scared but must have been a relief seeing & feeling those movements, glad your mum is there, you don?t have to be brave to stop her worrying, as you will discover in 20 wks, in fact as you know now, it?s a mums job to worry(!) so share your burden Im sure it will help.. xx

Jools I hope you are ok honey? Thinking of you & chucking several bucketfuls of babydust your way xxx

Iggy you too sweetheart, I remember it being like a penny dropping when mermaid said Ill get pregnant when my body is ready, the first 4 were all so close together Im hopeful that my bodies now had time to recover. I also was desperate to be preg again by edd on 8th sept, as soon as all the pressures & timeframes Id given myself were gone, it happened, so have faith hon xxxx

Moon same for you too, im not just on stuck record mode, I really know how you feel & how hard it is watching others moving forward & feeling stuck in groundhog day, I wish it for you all so much, I found it helped by not thinking, its GOT to be next month, & thinking well hopefully by xmas, or spring & removing pressure, I guarantee by then it will have happened for all of you xxx

Another ton of babydust to all above & Bakingq too ? looking forward to our first twins!

Lovely Curly miss you! Sorry to hear you are still icky but relieving all good signs, wow, is that 20wks on weds? Half way there!

Neeko hope you?ve maneuvered a way to get MN back at work ? how very dare they deny access!!!! Want to give you an extra big hug & a ton of gold stars for being such a support recently when you have your own stresses too xxx

Hey Mrsmermaid hows things with you? Not heard from you much & hope all is well? Invisible babydust of the pantless variety coming at ya! Xxx

Blue yes, how many weeks are you now? Are you doing any more xmas shopping so you?re all prepped for the big day?!

MLS if you are lurking ? a huge strength building hug & lots of love xxxx

Gracie nice to see you back on regularly, hope you are managing some time for you too amongst all the support you are giving out, cant believe your now past the half way mark too, its flown, but obviously not for you! Xx
LBM nice to see you again too! Hope all is well? Xx

Sabs liitle one is obviously holding out for daddys interview! I agree with Blue a great tonic for your gran will be meeting her great grandchild Im sure it must be worrying for you all, my great aunt of 87 who also has diabetes broke her wrist recently but she is fine again now & back to driving!!!

Vjay lovely to see you posting so regularly & young Alex is a little beauty, your gold top is obviously suiting him well!

Mrskate will be thinking of you on sat, mark it however you see fit, Iv done plants in the garden, balloons, candles (never got round to the lovely lanterns), what matters is you take time to remember & as Neeko said, it helps almost like a memorial, which we sadly don?t get with mc..

Cupcake my fellow medium panter, how you doing? Glad to hear the pains gone, was freaked a bit yest as had real bad pain in left ovary for 24hrs or so, I know I ov?d from right one (as Neeko wisely said when I had that health check scan & saw swollen ovary ready to pop it maybe 1st pic of baby & it was! ) but as I knew ovd? from right & prog released from there & feelin baby implanted on that side too I was panicing, anyway drunk a ton of water & relaxed after anxiety of treatment, & it went thank god! Any news on your scan yet? How many wks are you?

I figure Im 4+4 as cycle 31 days, but if hosp wok it out as 28 day cycle then id be 5 today.. Thanks to all for well wishes for treatment, was worried DH would faint on train after going on his own to give his pint, but he was fine & was mightily relieved when I went back with DH & FIL in afternoon that only had 1 injection into vein in arm, as last time had 1 in vein, & 4 under skin which were excruciatingly painful like wasp or jellyfish stings that blew up into massive whelts & whole arm swelled up & couldn?t even cut food for about a week! Was prepared to do anything that might help us keep this baby tho but obviously pleased Im in no pain at all! Doc reckoned straight into blood works quickest for baby so now everythings crossed this is our miracle cure, tho as he said there is no guarantee, however Im staying positive & holding onto the 85% success rate of treatment when already preg! Im enjoying lazing on sofa today, feel sooooo tired & bit queasy, get ravenous as day goes on tho.. Gonna call work & tell em Im gonna take a few weeks & get signed off as wanna maximize all chances & remove any stress for this one. RMC clinic on thurs, NHS doc bit anti any test/treatment not endorsed by NHS so hope he doesn?t poo poo our treatment, luckily I know his thoughts so will take it with a pinch of salt if he does?

Sorry for mammoth post! Had to post to you all & think I have sorry if not maybe preg brain is kickin in! Am off to eat something but may well be back later! I been lurking via phone but cant post on that so am upstairs on slow dial up! xxxxxxxx

4everhopeful · 29/09/2009 13:24

that took me an hour! MUST e a t!

Joolsiam · 29/09/2009 13:50

Just quickly as I am mega busy at work running a training course and have no time and monitored internet access ...

Huge congrats and a big wave to our little Lion Cub

Am ov'ing today and it is painful in the extreme. No BD action for over a month though, so I'm having a relaxed, pantless few weeks and feel strangely relieved for it, despite shedding a few tears at a wasted egg this morning.

In fact, ov is so painful, I wonder if it is the first for a few months - bloody typical as there is no point this month

Am away overnight. Had strong words with DP along the lines of needing to really really talk about whether he is supporting me in my urgent need to reproduce, or is dodging the subject - if he is dodging and just trying to avoid BD at the crucial times, then I run the risk of hating him forever for denying me something I want so very much and I seriously need to consider our future as it may damage our relationship permanently. I'd rather know now though rather than be kept hoping every month.

I'm very much "what will be will be" at the moment and am glad that I can go away for my birthday with no mc danger / panic hanging over me and, spooky co-incidence - if I get a BFP on the next clockwork cycle (and that is a big "if"), then it will be on the anniversary of the worst day of my life. Circle of life and all that - seems like it might be meant to be.

Sorry - very me-like but this novice trainer has got to go and panic prepare for delivering her first solo session. Suspect no internet in hotel tonight. Normal service will resume Thurs.

Glad to hear everyone sounding so upbeat, and special thoughts to MLS xx

LionstarBigPants · 29/09/2009 14:12

Wow, mammoth post 4ever - make sure you do eat, have to keep up your strength to nurture that beautiful bean. Your story is so inspiring, I have every appendage crossed for the next stage of your journey, which I'm sure will be successful. Apologies for making you cry, hope happy tears!

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes. Will hopefully have some photos uploaded this afternoon, will try and get some posted later. We don't have a name as yet, any shortlist has gone out of the window - he needs a big and strong name. It's such a responsibility naming babies, they should arrive with the right name tattooed to their forehead, it would be much easier!

Sabs am sending you lots of happy labour vibes for a quick and easy delivery for your little one. Labour is a scary thing to go through, but you will find you'll just be focussed on what needs doing, and it's all easily forgotten once you get your hands on the results! Can't wait for news.

mermaidspurse · 29/09/2009 14:24

LionstarBigPants · 29/09/2009 14:26

Hmmm Zeus, or maybe Thor

bluesatinsash · 29/09/2009 14:38

hmmm, big strong name Lion - let me think....

Conrad (means strong!)
Craig (means rock)
Adam
Benjamin
Ruben
Callum
Max
Aaron
Scott

4ever - so your treatement went well and was nowhere near as sore as last time - yay! Delighted you're taking taking off work and wrapping yourself up on the couch, you have a precious cargo there who will thank you for it .

Jools - feeling for you and admire your honesty in confronting your DP. Like your circle of life thoughts and hope it will be..

Lovely to hear form you Curly! 20-weeks - yay!

Barbie - FWIW I was more nervous before my 20-week scan than any of the others, bar the first one at 6 weeks. Its because you dare start to believe you're going to have a baby and chastise yourself for allowing those positive thoughts. You lo is doing his/her best to reassure you tho' with all the summersaulting - hey - has he/she gotten hold of a tiny pair of fit flops ?

Neeko - at your work, you could say its for education research??

Moon and Iggy - heed 4ever's wise words about chilling. Have either of you tried acupuncture? I had two sessions and was pg before my third...

Well I have my 28 week (yowser!) check up with the midwife tomorrow. Not seen her since I was 16 weeks so really looking forward to being patted and measured etc. The worry is still there re: heartbeat/everything being OK but lo is moving around as I type as if to say "oi Mum, I'm OK!". I got my mat leave approved at work too - finish up on 4th Dec and back on 5th July next year - well fingers crossed, wind in the right direction. Will be going back to my same three days so not too onerous.

Love to All xx

mermaidspurse · 29/09/2009 14:39

bluesatinsash · 29/09/2009 14:41

mermaidspurse · 29/09/2009 14:49

blue 28 weeks wow yowser indeed It is lovely to think of you all with gymnastic babies. I will think of you tomorrow being measured and prodded. It must be such a great feeling to know everything is slowly falling into place in more ways rthan one and you can look forward to a nice stretch of maternity leave.

jools I know you have worried about this before and it is really brave of you to have the blunt talk. I really hope that everything will untangle themselves. Good luck on training people. big glass of wine for later.

4ever thank goodness you are skiving busy letting your bean burrow I am so pleased that you are chillin as much as is possible.

littlebellsmum · 29/09/2009 20:41

Congratulations Lion, welcome cyber nephew no 2. Loved the birth announcement - your dd is a star and how effective is pingu!
Neeko pleased Sunday went well and that you feel stronger
Love to all - need to go and make the curtains that I was supposed to finish last winter. In fact the last day I worked on them was the day of my mc, funny how I remember that!

cupcakefairy · 29/09/2009 22:37

Evening girls, thanks for all your lovely concern for me I'm fine...pain been coming and going again today though bit concerning but trying not to dwell on it. I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow for those who asked It'smy birthday 2 weeks Sat so was wondering about asking for a scan the day before but then if it's bad news would be the worst birthday ever!

Blue I can't believe you're 28 weeks already!! I remember you saying you and dh were finally starting to believe it was your time for happiness at 11.5 weeks..seems like yesterday!

Iggy I absolutely echo what the others have said about mermaid's wonderful wise advice of your body waiting til it's ready. In July when af arrived and I was devastated cos we'd bd'd so much and I was certain it would be the month, Neeko text me those exact words and I really held on to them for the next couple of months it honestly will happen...and I understand the edd thing too but just look at our lovely weeble 4ever who got through hers and was rewarded a bean straight after

MLS still thinking of you loads. You too, Moon Jools glad you are still lurking from your super-important work world, hope you're enjoying some nice wine in your chilled month

Hi Curly can't believe you're 20 weeks too... we want bump and scan pics from all you 20-weekers!

Right well dh is still not home from pizza night with the boys...ho hum. Think I'll go to sleep.

cupcakefairy · 29/09/2009 22:38

Ooh ooh and Lion what about Freddie for our little cub... adore the name myself but can't use it cos it's BIL's name...

GracieGirl · 30/09/2009 07:33

Morning! Just a very quick post to say thinking of Curly for her scan today.

I'm running late for work as had a nosebleed this morning and didn't want to put the only blouse that still fits me on before it stopped!

Cupcake I don't have a bump! I've just filled out a little around my belly but not enough for anyone but me to notice! I have a photo of me on the beach last week in a bikini and there's nothing to see!

Neeko · 30/09/2009 10:12

Quick post to wish Curly luck and say hi to everyone else. at Gracie having no bump yet. You're obviously one of those women who just looks like they are hiding a football up their jumper at 9 months, while I look like a Teletubby or two

iggypiggy · 30/09/2009 10:58
