you get pregnancy symptoms ? I think with DS1 and DS2 I noticed on about day 22. Anyone noticed any earlier ? TTC DC3, currently on day 18 and must be imagining that I have tingly boobs and am incredibly hungry.... ?

Well, not sure on testing. I think I should be on a 29 day cycle, so will probably use one of my First Response tests on day 24 - that is the absolute earliest that those tests might pick up a BFP. Not sure I really like the idea of getting BFN's for days on end - have only tested before to confirm when I've been pretty certain. If it means I can get early treatment and produce a live baby at the end of it, I shall risk the disappointment though

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 09:38

I tested at 6am this morning when I woke up, negative. CD24 now, am due weds/thurs. Will test with the last test on mon/tues but I think period will be here this month

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 09:39

Oops, CD23 actually, I think..

Loujalou · 10/07/2009 10:10

If there was only a way we could look into the future and it would tell us. Would make life a lot easier....

Anyone got a time travelling machine. I have a feeling that this month is not going to be the one. Roll on next month.

tobago04 · 10/07/2009 12:04

Don't lose hope claire2009! Was going to test on saturday but hubby has got to work now so might wait till Sunday, also i quite like the not knowing,it's more exciting wondering if i am and think i'd crap my self if the test is positive!

mousemole · 10/07/2009 13:38

Loujalou - my timemachine out of order at the moment unfortunately. Just back from the doctors who tested my pee and said it wasn't a UTI. So, still clinging to the hope that this is the month.

Hello everybody! So, I caved in last night and tested and of course it was a BFN. That would have been CD24. So probably too early again (I've checked again and remembered that I only got a very faint positive on CD26 with DD), but still, I am pretty convinced I'm not pregnant. I have zero symptoms and am sure I'd feel it by now! So I'm in a strange state where I'm trying to tell myself maybe next month and trying to ignore the faint glimmer of hope that this is a symptomless pregnancy! That doesn't make sense at all does it! Anyway, my friend is coming to stay over the weekend and I am NOT going to think about it and I'll only test again in the highly unlikely event that AF is late. Any other news from anybody? Fingers crossed!

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 15:32

Well I'll test again Mon, maybe Tues morning if I can hold out that'll be 3/4 days before period is due so I should def get an accurate result then..

Mousemole, That's good you don't have a Uti, and fingers crossed it means you will have a bfp this month!!

Jools, Any news?

Funnyoldfolkestone, Me and you are about the same timeline, I'm CD23 today, due Weds/Thurs...I was talking with Dp about when I got the symptoms with dd/ds, when did I know to test and get an instant bfp? He said, We very much wanted dd/ds so it was a matter of containing ourselves until it was obvious pity I can't contain myself now

Louja, I'd love a time machine

Tobago, Thanks, I've not totally given up hope, ovulation takes place between 7-12 days after conception, well it's 10 days here so I'll keep hoping

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 15:33

What gets me is I have NO pmt this month, usually I am evil for about a week/week and a half before my period, I actually feel sorry for dp/dd/ds during this time

Joolsiam · 10/07/2009 15:52

Claire - absence of PMT is an extremely good sign last time I conceived, that clinched it for me - I got past day 26 without any meltdowns / crying fits / major arguments with DP

I seem to have grown some rather impressive boobage over the last couple of days - they now fill my C cup, rather than sagging ...

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 15:54

Ohhh that's a great sign, Jools!
My boobs haven't changed other than the bigger nipples, but I don't usually notice these things so it could be a before af thing!

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's me controlling the pmt more though?! But I've had no meltdowns/screaming fits at all

Left shoulder blade still achy, I really have no idea this month! Baffled myself!

mousemole · 10/07/2009 16:26

FOF - sounds like a bit early for your test so fingers crossed for when you do it again. Claire2009, well done for holding out, I think you are very wise and strong. Not sure what your shoulder is about - although my knee is a bit painful too ?! Jools - the big boobs MUST be a sign. I have the larger nipples too but they might get bigger this time of the month every month, I just don't normally pay much attention.
Well, I am signing off for a week. Go to france tomorrow and taking my pg tests with me ! I think I will test on thursday which will be day 27. Keep this thread going please - I am looking forward to all sorts of updates when back !

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 16:28

Mousemole, Enjoy France! Where abouts are you going? I lived there for 5yrs before coming back to the Uk

Joolsiam · 10/07/2009 16:31

Claire - ummmm - probably too early for it to be this, but shoulder tip pain is a known symptom of an ectopic pregnancy.

I'm not trying to be alarmist, but I'd make sure you are aware of the symptoms ... I think it is accompanied by bleeding / spotting the colour of prune juice ..

Have a great holiday mousemole

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 16:34

Thanks Jools I did google it the other day wondering, I've had no bleeding/spotting/pain other than the shoulder blade, and I get that each month before af arrives usually, along with wicked pmt, spotty face, itchy nipples

mousemole · 10/07/2009 16:48

off to Chamonix for some mountain air and a kids club ! Is that anywhere near where you have been ? I am really excited, never been to the Alps before.

OP posts:
Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 16:52

Never heard of it

I was in Brittany/Finistere, and went down to Perpignan, Toulouse, Andorra, Pyrenees a lot, but not the Alps way!

Hope you have a lovely time!

mousemole · 10/07/2009 17:19

oh Brittany is gorgeous. I worked in Perros Guirec for a summer a long time ago. Beautiful part of France

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 17:45

It is gorgeous!
I lived in Chateauneuf du Faou, 45/hour drive from Roscoff Ferry Port.

mousemole · 10/07/2009 18:11

oh lovely. Bet you miss it

Claire2009 · 10/07/2009 19:04

I do

Is anyone having any cm/ewcm?
I've had none for all day today and most of yesterday, is that a good/bad sign?

tobago04 · 10/07/2009 20:25

My hubby lived in perpignan when he was 11yrs old,had to stay at an asthma clinic by himself for a yr bless him.Still holding out from testing as don't really know how long my cycles are have'nt had much cm either, wish i'd grow some impressive boobs jools!

Claire2009 · 11/07/2009 07:13

Even more confused now

Blood last night when I wiped, bright red, I used a tampon overnight and this morning it's 3/4 filled......

I think it's 'the' period!?!!! Will see, the next day tends to be real heavy...

Joolsiam · 11/07/2009 12:29

Claire - isn't it still early for AF ? This could well be an implantation bleed ...

Fingers crossed for you

Loujalou · 11/07/2009 12:59

Confused about my symptoms on 8 dpo and am cranky and felt like I have had cramps. So who knows. Am convinced its all in my head. Together with the nausea.

Though yesterday had ewcm but not sure what means.
