Momdeguerre · 03/06/2009 13:59

Anyone else fancy two weeks of crazed symptom spotting?

Come obssess with me. . . . .evey twinge might be a step closer BFP!!!

So far I am 2 DPO - ready to allow my imagination to run wild and persuande myself that evey new sensation may be a sign. . . .

Yes me too. I told myself I wouldn't get "obsessed" and preoccupied this time. I have a DS age one. Wanted to just take it as it comes and hope it happened again ttc #2 without paying too much attention to cycles etc.

But no- month number one and I am symptom spotting like crazy! Feeling crampy, exhausted, nauseous, dizzy. Oh yes imagination running wild! And we only BD once in what was probably my ovulation time, but that's only looking back in retrospect, I wasn't even really properly paying attention consciously (but reckon unconsciously I was given I am now convinced all symptoms are pG)

Due period on 7 June and really really plan to not do a test til at least into next week if no AF arrives (yeh right!).

Momdeguerre · 03/06/2009 14:29

Glad I am not alone - I have an 11 month DS and this is my effort at number 2.

I am already convinced that my nausea this morning is an early indication of pg and nothing to do with skipping breakfast and then having to spend an hour driving through rush hour to spend a further hour at the dentist. . . .

I am also not convinced that we dtd enough around ov - but suppose it only takes the once. . . .

I will be amazed if I manage to hold off till the 16th to test - more likely every day from 10 DPO!

Hi, i'm due af on 11 june and am symptom spotting like mad argh!!! Its so hard to not think about tests even though you know it will be neg so early on! Lets hope we all get bfp and make it a lucky thread!

Angelfifi · 03/06/2009 14:35

Hahahaha!!Momdeguere that sounds so like me!! I feel really sick at the moment and think its a "sign" not the fact that its hot and i had a sickly piece of cake for lunch!!!

Momdeguerre · 03/06/2009 14:42

I am all for thinking positive!!

Hope we do all get our BFPs.

Don't believe it is cake related sickness - must be the naughty baby to be!

My hypothetical baby has just orced me to eat an entire bag of chocolate buttons. . .

OP posts:
Angelfifi · 03/06/2009 18:27

Hahahaha!! I can only hope! lol! Fingers crossed for everyone.

Momdeguerre · 04/06/2009 15:52

Today I am feeling the fatigue, am trying hard to remember what it was like first time round but am feeling shattered today.

Trying hard not to attribute this to working 12hr day and nigh shifts and having had to stay up for 36hrs earlier this week to juggle childcare. . . . .

Oh, and I defo felt sick this morning - again, hink this may be as likely to be related to being overtired but makes me happy to imagine it is morning sickness (already!).

OP posts:
Angelfifi · 04/06/2009 16:09

OOOOO!! How exciting!! Looking good fingers crossed its in the right direction!
My sickness has gone so think it was that sickly cake i had for lunch!! But am trying to look for symptoms but dont think they are there!! I'm having stomach cramps which i get a week before af is due so not looking good for me
Fingers crossed though!!

MaisieBoo · 04/06/2009 22:55

Hi, can I join you? AF due next week, up to 12th. Don't think there's much chance but I can dream! Have had sore breasts for two weeks now, feel really thirsty (but it is warm outside), weeing a lot (but drinking a lot), feel dizzy when I get up in morning, and best of all - just had to go to shop today to get a tube of Rolos, which I haven't had for years, and then ate them all straight away (did save last one for DH but he said he didn't want it so I ate that too, but it's the thought that counts). Hope all signs are good news for all of us!

MaisieBoo · 04/06/2009 23:18

Should have added, have been pink spotting since Monday, so by joining this thread am probably encouraging AF. I'm CD 27 today but UCL up to 35. On a more positive note, my cat got on my knee tonight and instead of lying away from me (like usual) she lay across my tum. Also I'm more emotional, and seem to be crying every day, mainly about cat as she's poorly. (not so positive). It could all be pmt, but.....

Angelfifi · 05/06/2009 07:48

Hi Maisieboo Sounds like good signs fingers crossed for you i don't really have anything to say yes i am so don't think its happened for me again but we shall see!

MaisieBoo · 05/06/2009 10:51

So thirsty it's annoying but this happened last month too! But really want another pack of Rolos, will have to go to shop!

Doctorskidaddle · 05/06/2009 11:13

ooh am so pleased to have found this thread. Am only about 5 days DPO but feel like I already have symptoms - is this even possible???
Symptoms are:

  • massively tired (slept 7pm-7am last night!)
  • very emotional
  • boobs feel slightly wierd
  • have been craving jelly babies

Am also due around the 16th momdeguerre so let's try and hold off as long as we can before testing...

Everyone's symptoms sounds v. promising but I suppose that might just mean we all have vivid imaginations...

Angelfifi · 05/06/2009 11:35

Hi Ladies,
Well am feeling sick again today, so have got the thoughts of, is it isnt it again! Am trying to keep away from the tests but is hard! I know it will be a neg as im not due untill thurs..... Arghhhhhh!!

Momdeguerre · 05/06/2009 16:42

Angel - be strong!!! Resist the urge of the tests!!!!!!!!!!

Drs - sounds like a plan - I am terrible for early testing - think I may be addicted to poas!!!

Maisie - Loving the Rolo addiction - sounds all good so will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Last night I was so tired I fell asleep in front of the tv at 730!! My DS had only been in bed 20mins but I could just not keep my eyes open! Not so tired today or queasy - but I am feeling giddy (perhaps my management conference was just that exciting )!

Am going to be sooooo dissapointed if I get a BFN!

How long have all you ladies been ttc?

OracleInaCoracle · 05/06/2009 16:44

hi, can i join please CD19 here, am going nuts. pretty sure i ov'd on CD13. 1st cycle of clomid

Doctorskidaddle · 05/06/2009 16:46

momdeguerre - this is my first month so no excuse for being so impatient!

  • pleased you are also knackered - makes me think it might be a real symptom

maisie - I have felt a strong need to consume chocolate three times today (v. unusual)- so maybe I can also put that down to being pg!

aaagggh these threads are terrible for giving you hope, aren't they? Have got myself all hyped up and convinced I am pg now!

Doctorskidaddle · 05/06/2009 16:47

hi lissie - so does that mean you'll be testing arounf 16th as well?

OracleInaCoracle · 05/06/2009 16:50

yep, period is due on 15th!!

Momdeguerre · 05/06/2009 16:58

Lissie - welcome! Look forward to over analysing evey twinge with you! Glad there will be another one testing around the 16th.

I wish I could attribute my chocolate addiction to a possible pg but I am always terrible for it!!

Drs - I think you can be impatient whether it is your first or 50th month!! I am not many months in and it is killing me!!

OP posts:
MaisieBoo · 05/06/2009 18:24

Ate half a (large) bar of galaxy, and lunch, don't usually bother but was so hungry - probably not a sign, just means I'm greedy!
This is our second cycle of trying, but only managed to BD 3 times and then got thrush which wrecked things a bit, so only a very small chance for me, but it only takes once (hopeful sigh).

OracleInaCoracle · 06/06/2009 12:24

im trying desperately not to symptom spot here. i feel sick and am v tired from mid afternoon onward.

maybe, just maybe...

Momdeguerre · 06/06/2009 13:46

I can't avoid symtom spotting - it seems to make no difference whether I admit to doing it or not - my imagination still runs wild.

oday am obsessing over the that I have been car sick (last time was when I was pg with DS although DH swears I am always whinging about it!) and I feel very tired but this may just be pre run apathy. . .

Every month I am the same!! I like to think that it is the only thing I can actively do and I like to think it means I am thinking positive, so, symptom spot away!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 06/06/2009 13:53

lol thats a good way of looking at it. part of me is desperate to know now, part of me dreads finding out. i feel truly dreadful today though. may just be a bug...

Momdeguerre · 06/06/2009 15:59

It is true, it may be a bug, it may be baby-to-be. Am hoping it is the latter for you!
