Hi paddington nothing my end, had pains the other day but not sure what they were, if I have af myself I will be in shock lol, just have to wait till August and see what they tell me.

Think your right clairebear so easy to stress yourself out when going through all this and as we know thats not good for falling pregnant

Bring on a pregnancy predictor kit that will tell us the month we will defo fall pregnant, love this idea kiwikat

Whats everyone been up to this weekend? I was at my aunts yesterday, we were all playing the wii good laugh xx

pinkypanther · 28/06/2009 21:07

Hello all, just popping by to say hello and check up on you!

Have had a lovely day, out with some friends, but a bit surnburnt now (whoops)

Am still feeling super-paranoid about my BFP, like it's not really happening, though have done a fair few tests since last Tuesday, all still positive, and no AF yet...I am going to the hospital tomorrow for a pre-arranged follow up appointment, and I'm hoping they will book me for an early scan next week or the week after to help set my mind at ease a bit. If not then I will be saving for a private scan!

Will pop in again soon to see how you're doing x

clairebear88 · 29/06/2009 09:34

Hi all

Good to hear from you pinky and all looks good still. Bring on the scan so you can start to relax and enjoy it eh

Had a good weekend of bbqs and laughs. Gonna be a hot week so paddling pool is out.

skreksmissus

Do not use OPK's when on clomid. This is because clomid can encourage LH production; these kits read LH levels so it would be reading this increased level.

KiwiKat · 29/06/2009 22:46

Really? Not use OPKs when using Clomid? I've just bought one and used it for the first time this cycle (2nd round of Clomid) because the scanographer (or whatever he was called) told me to get down to Boots, pick one up and go for it when I got the green light. But what you're saying is that what I thought was the green light may have been something else? Clarification, please! And what do you recommend using instead?

Am in the heart of the tww - cd24, with the witch due on Saturday or Sunday.

clairebear88 · 30/06/2009 10:05

Hiya

Paddington - my hormones are raging as bad spots and am also very tired whilst on these tabs. The heat just makes it worse. I have to drive with all windows open to keep me awake Not good...

Shrek - I get scanned between CD9-CD13 but not sure if this is the same everywhere. I have to call the hospital on day1 or 2 of period and they book me in for between day 9-13.

Kiwikat & shrek - I have heard the same as tilla that OPKs are useless whilst on clomid due to high LH levels. I just try to get busy between day10 - 20 this should cover ovulation. Also checking CM is a good sign but clomid can dry this up.

Lots of cycle buddies this month with the wicked witch due Sunday so lets hope we get at least one BFP .

paddington21 · 30/06/2009 13:36

paddington21 · 02/07/2009 19:36

wishinanhopin · 02/07/2009 22:24

Hi Girls
I was on this site ALL the time last year and took a break. Now I'm back it. Love the support of you ladies. I have period problems (never get it) My family physician was at a loss, and I FINALLY after a year wait have gotten into a specialist. He has run all the blood work, done ultra sound, checked hubby's sperm count, and cannot find out why I ovulate so irrugularly. So in 2 weeks I go for the dye test to check my fallopian tubes. Any of you girls had this done??? Just wondering what it entails???
Lots of love to all the baby makers

MamaMaiasaura · 02/07/2009 22:37

Hi all still here. No af as yet, will be testing prob tomorrow but dont 'feel' preg.

stac14 · 02/07/2009 23:34

Hey paddington the clomid makes me a bitch and the 2ww is an absolute nightmare my dp has been saying the same as yours and I feel the same as you, but for me DP doesnt want to do ivf as we have a son each he feels we should be grateful, doubt I will see it that way soz if that sounds selfish to anyone who doesnt have kids.

Hey wishinhopin welcome back lol I am in the same boat as you but diagnosed with pcos. I have to go for the dye test on 6th August, so nervous. Most of the ladies have said its uncomfortable but not too bad so try not to worry.

Hey awen are you gettin organised for your school hols? My lots already off so I am trying to keep them entertained. No AF for me either, will you take clomid if af comes naturally?

Hope everyone else is well!! xxx

KiwiKat · 02/07/2009 23:41

Hi Wishin, yes, the dye test is pretty uncomfortable, but it's over quite soon. And you might be one of the lucky ones - along with Stac - who breeze through it. Certainly hope so.

paddington21 · 03/07/2009 09:51

Hey Stac thats not selfish i understand what you mean.glad its not just me who feel like this. am just waiting for mon to roll on so i get this af over and done with book this bloody dye scan in and then i'll know what im up against- Wishin im hoping its not too painful but have had mixed opinions from others its either totally fine or your in pain for days.
oh well its friday and i am trying to eat healthily but i cannot be bothered so i am taking my grumpy arse to town to do some shopping!

awen good luck hun im hoping that even if you dont feel pregnant you could well be anyway- the body likes to play tricks and all that jazz.

right adios amigos x x

clairebear88 · 03/07/2009 10:10

Hiya girlies

Where has the sun gone? and just in time for the weekend typical..

Paddington - I too have the most postivie hubby and it sometimes gets on my nerves but honestly think he is the only thing that has got me through ttc for the last 2 yrs. Its so hard to be positive for the future.
Have a lovely weekend x

wishin - I had the dye thing done and was a bit uncomfy but not painful. its a bit like a smear but the put a tiny catheter of due into your womb and it should flow through your tubes. They check this by an xray machine over your tummy. I found it really fascinating as they can see alot from this procedure shape/clear or blocked/polyps/fibroids. They showed me to and was interesting to see your insides lol.
Just take a few painkillers an hr before and take a pantyliner with you as may leak a bit of dye. Just have a relaxing rest of your day. I just had mild period pains for rest of day. All will be fine

Awen - i have them crossed for you. x

Well I will be testing tomorrow as I have my mates 30th tom nite so dont wanna drink if I get BFP ( fat chance ).

Good luck to all the girlies testing this weekend

Have a good onex

stac14 · 03/07/2009 15:04

Hey paddington do you have your scan on Monday?

clairbear hope its a bfp and you cant drink (in the nicest possible way of course) if not you can get blotto with a clear consience.

Has anyone heard from clure? Hope everyone is well. xxx

Clure · 03/07/2009 16:43

hello all, I'm still here! Just been having a horrendous time at school (all staff not just me!) so been a bit pre-occupied with that. I'm currently BD-ing everyother day and have felt no side effects from the 100mg clomid. Enjoying the gorge weather.

awen what CD are you on now?

clairbear I too have got a big occasion coming up and feel like I shouldn't have a glass of wine as "I may be..." oh well we can cross our fingers!!

stac hi how are you at the moment? Are you still waiting for AF?

paddington hi, its tought the wait. I've only experienced the 2WW once this time around and I'd forgotten how bloody hard it is.

wishinandhopin I had the dye thing done last time round when I conceived DD. I found it was ok whilst they were doing it but afterwards very uncomfortable, I had awful period type pains and needed a bit more than a panty liner! (sorry tmi) hope it goes ok, you'll be fine

paddington21 · 03/07/2009 20:14

hey stac no my scan is not on monday but can book it from then.
Am glad its not just me with a positive man it would be helpful if pregnant people i know would for one stop moaning about it and secondly stop going on about it i get it your not fat your pregnant i get it!

Any nice plans for the weekend? i do not but hey i think i shall shop

how you lovely ladies doing?

xx

Clure · 04/07/2009 14:56

hi, just a quick query. I'm on CD 15 and today I've had funny little stabbing pains possibly ovary area. Do you think it may be ovulatory? Has anyone else experienced this? Think its been so long since Ive had a proper cycle I've forgotten what it feels like! Thanks x
