Well, my bonkathon got off to a terrible start, I have a sickness bug so DP (understandably) refused to BD!
I forcing myself to get into work today to prove I am up for a bit BDing tonight! I will not miss the boat this month!!!

Ha ha!!! I was ill last night with a migrane and DH wanted to BD- he insists every 2 days!!! I am prob on my 2WW but who knows?? I just haven't got a clue! I can't bear it, every day am I aren't I etc? The first part of the cycle is so much easier as at least you know!!!

alfiesmadmother & Blocka hope you're both feeling better, especially for this evening

Just got a call from my extremely fertile best friend (has 2 children, each time conceived in cycle 1), well she's pregnant again (this time cycle 2) AND it's twins!!!!! I'm really happy for her but deep down I'm feeling a little sorry for myself as it just feels as though it's taking so long...

OK, got that off my chest and now back to positive thinking, this will be my month!

yumyum - I had a similar call. My best friend rang to say she was also feeling icky and was 8days late. She had been told she could only get pregnant with ivf but yes you've guessed it - pregnant. I'm so happy for her as obviously went through ivf for her first but just when I'm waiting for af I could have done without it. I did tell her I was very jealous.
I think it's natural to feel like that yumyum.

Well anyway still no af cd 30 still feel awful. Not feeling too sorry for myself as another friend has just miscarried at 8 weeks! So awful. Let's hope we all get good beans this month! Hope Alfiesmum and blocka are well enough for tonight - 15 minutes of it anyway

hello all that are still on the Jan bus. Our BDing will start in earnest tomorrow and for as many days as we can manage. No idea when/if I am ovulating but having 21 day blood tests this month so that should help determine.

Well, we managed some BDing last night, despite having a trip to the doctors and having a gastric viral infection confirmed. Now thats commitment for you!! Not sure if being poorly will reduce my chances of falling pg - I expect it will somehow - but fingers crossed in any event.
My DP now starts a full weekend of shift work - right at my most fertile time - so I have 3 days of being woken up at midnight for a bit of nooky, its the only time we will be able to do it! How romantic.....

I have a question - just used my digital OPK (I know, I promised I wouldn't use them this month!) - I got a smiley face which means I have a surge.

We BDed last night - does this mean I have hit the right time, or should I of been doing it for days before hand?? Is it pointless BDing after your surge??

TMI ALERT: When i wiped last night there was blood so thought af coming but this morning just the same. Bit of blood in cm when wipe. Is this a freaky period? I am now cd31 and thought I'd wait til Monday for af before testing. Done two negatives last Tue and week before?!? Hate this!!!Normally I would have come on properly overnight and be full flow now? Anyone?!?!?

Well, it could be a good sign but the same thing happened to me last month and my AF arrived the following morning - sorry

Keep a check on it today, though - you never know!! (all fingers crossed for you so finding it diifcult to type)

Last time though I oved 5 days after +ve OPK and my friend said you can have several surges in a month so they're not that reliable. Damn.

CC sounds like me last month too - I often spot beforehand. Could be implantation though for you

Hi Blocka, I also swore i'd stay away from OPK's and then bought 3 packs (21 clear blue sticks) so i could test everyday after AF!!!!
Anyway from the freakish amount of Googling i've been doing about OPK's you are BDing at the right time but continue for the next few days as once you see an LH surge you are due to ovulate within 12-36 hours...

Blocka - We BD'd the day I got my +OPK. Agree with yumyum72! Good luck!!!

hi girls, congrats to the graduates, iv had a busy week so appolgies for not being on much, im cd 15 and only bd on mon night which was cd 11 so 3 days before ov not very good,
hubby has also been sick so not much happening for me this month, and i hate this 2ww, it drives me insane!!!! sorry to vent!!

Ticky hope the doctor was able to give you good advice. i think you can get stuff to bring prog levels up.

Hooray - a LH surge for me, so a weekend of BDing planned!

had my test results back a few days ago - so far, everything fine and I'm ovulating okay. Have been referred to a gynae in June, and DP has his sperm analysis in July. Am hoping we get lucky before then, though. The clock is ticking!
