Oh and I forgot.....have a lovely baby dust filled weekend
Fingers crossed af doesn't start this weekend-or ever then I can test on tues [begging face]

katster37 · 16/01/2009 09:53

Morning bluebell and sammysam - yes I am a bit befuddled by the whole temping thing to be honest. I took ait at 6.30am as it says to take it first thing at the same time every day (so there go weekend lie-ins!) and it said 96.5; then I did it again at 8am and it said 98.6... So I have no idea to be honest. I don't know if I took it out too soon the first time, or what.... I will see what it is tomorrow. How long have you done it for bluebell?

Joy27 · 16/01/2009 10:18

Happy friday everybody!

theboob - no worries at all re list!

sammysam, hope you stay af-free all weekend.

Well it's not a very happy Friday for me... it looks like bf has to go away for work until Tuesday. Not only will we miss out on all our weekend plans together (boo), but we will also be apart for CD8-11. I know this doesn't scupper plans entirely, but in months gone by I think I've ov-ed as early as CD8-9, so that would be our chance for this month out the window.

Maybe I'll be aiming for that Christmas baby after all...

bubblebell1 · 16/01/2009 10:19

Sabs1981 · 16/01/2009 10:25

morning ladies, yay its friday! Any plans for the weekend? wow, this thread moves so fast, I can't keep up but good to see lots of people have joined...

can I be very selfish and post a very "me, me, me" post? Looks like we may have our first BFP!

I got sent home early from jury service yesterday , and I couldnt help myself, I went to the chemist and brought a clearblue digital test, which you can test 4 days early. My AF not due until sat 17th jan...and it was POSITIVE! a few hours later tried again using first response and that was positive too! Apart from DH, MN's are the first to know! I feel so scared and worried that it will all end in pain again. Will book myself in to see my GP next week and to the EPAU for a 7 week scan as they told me I could following my miscarriage....

so can i update the list??

katster37 · 16/01/2009 10:43

Congrats, Sabs! That is so exciting! What are your tips, then?! Also, can I be really nosey and ask what your symptoms are?! Sorry, I am clearly obsessed...

Angel, I think it's perfectly normal - I am exactly the same, hence my purchase yesterday of 50 (!) early detection pg tests from some website! (DH actually asked me last night if I was planning on setting up some kind of fertility hospital in our spare room....

I think this should be right now, feel free to change if I've missed anything off:

thanxs bubblebell and katser

no worries about the questions...im the same!!

Things that i did, now dont laugh, especially as ive read that it doesnt work, but i always used to keep my legs up in the air after the deed! Also, i know people say you shouldnt BD every day but we did from 2 days before i was due to ovulate and every day for a whole week....

symptoms right now include having to wee lots, feeling very sleepy and tired, and the start of increased sense of smell and nausea...

hope that helps!

lam81 · 16/01/2009 10:58

Hi everyone can i join please,i'm 27 have a dd 2.5 years, so ttc#2 cycle 3 cd 16,(had a mc in dec) im rubbish with this stuff so could someone please add me to list?? thank u xx

katster37 · 16/01/2009 11:25

Right, Sabs, I am going with the 'legs in the air' thing this month! Although naughty DH is skiing from CD11 - 17 but hopefully I haven't been Ov-ing until CD17-18 so we might (fingers crossed) catch the egg... You seem to have quite a few symptoms too - how exciting! (sorry, I know it sounds insane, but I think I would actually feel reassured by symptoms IYSWIM)
Welcome, lam81! Sorry to hear about your mc. Was it this Dec? Are you feeling OK now? I will add you to the list...

Sabs1981 · 16/01/2009 11:31

lam welcome and sorry about your mc...i had one in september and it always plays on my mind....hope you're feeling positive tho

katster i am welcoming any symptoms at all...it reassures me that i am pregnant...especially as my AF is not due until tomorrow...i know there is no such thing as a false positive when it comes to pregnancy tests, but need all the reassurance i can get, especially after what happened last time

let me know if the legs in the air works, lol! hope DH comes back all intact from skiing. When my DH went snowboarding last year, he broke his hand on the second day and had to come home early...not that im wishing for your DH to come home early of course!

oneyummymummy · 16/01/2009 11:40

Welcome lam sabs congratulations!!! Its so exciting a BFP already!!! Im also a little jealous.

LOL about the legs in the air thing....I didnt actually reaslise that people do this.....haha....maybe thats where im going wrong!!

Well we are also trying for a boy this time (although any healthy baby will be lovely) as we already have DD, so we are Bding on ovulation day rather than before ov.

oneyummymummy · 16/01/2009 11:43

Ah my partner does the snowboarding and skiing too, how strange! It does get a bit annoying tho, because they go away at the begining of the year and seem to find any excuse to go in the first place, 'Its a stag do' 'Its so-and-so's birthday' etc..

angel lol, you know what the test is going to say, yet you just can't stop yourself testing..... sounds like someone I know ME!!!

Sabs1981 · 16/01/2009 11:52

now feeling very embarassed over the legs in the air thing

people always tell me i should go along with hubby on a skiing holiday...but it doesnt interest me in the slightest...calling running around getting all sweaty a holiday??? my idea of a perfect holiday is either sitting on a beach or visiting historical sights...!
