Thanks Hula and pop. It's still sinking in. Have a long way to go as have a dodgy cervix and may need a cervical stitch, but I'm just trying to enjoy the 'now' and not do my usual obsessive worrying. One less thing to worry about now!
Hula - end of teaching here too - must be same line of work! Really odd to think we could all be passing each other in the street (or, more likely, weighing up which test/kit/supplements to buy in Boots. Will have to have a secret sign or something!

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 10:07

Katierockat - Thanks for that I only have one pack so I'd better go to Boots!! I think I read it somewhere and just wanted to check it was right. Cheers!

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 10:09

Diege - Oh my goodness another teacher. You guys are amazing, I have a lot of respect for teachers today. My mum and sister are both teachers and they are always working even at home. Much respect ladies!!

cp3 · 14/03/2005 10:20

Wow Tania. Congratulations, im so pleased for you. Bet you are grinning from ear to ear. Its so unbeliavable isnt it. Done 5 tests now and all still faint. I van just imagine you looking at your test and putting it in different lights to see if still there.I still get mine out now and check. Dp thinks im obessive as i still think im not pregnant.

See you on the due in Nov thread, take care and well done. xxxxxxxx

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 10:20

Diege,
Congrats!

I'm pretty chuffed AF arrive, tbh - it's not a disappointment b/c I knew there was no possibility of being pregnant. No O this month so that may be why I was so late. Just glad to FINALLY get relief from these awful PMS symptoms. These ovarian pains and sore boobs are killing me!

I have not had hormone levels checked and have no plans to. I don't have a lot of faith in Western medicine. Am going to try accupuncture first b/c it worked the last time.

cp3 · 14/03/2005 10:21

Pop, you know your mentally unsatable when you start drooling .

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 10:24

Cp3 - Thanks doll!! Knew I could count on you to lift my spirits!! lol!

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 10:47

Another bonus - CD1 is always a day on which I treat myself to a little chocolate. MMM. Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, anyone??

Tania2 · 14/03/2005 11:18

cp3 Thank you. I will actually be due on December 8th. Strange but iam actually only 2 weeks pg.

Twiga · 14/03/2005 11:25

Tania, my bump is fine though not really much of a bump at all, still in my jeans although starting to tighten, I guess that's just first timers for you. Seems to be my chest that's expanding rather than my tummy, have been wearing maternity t-shirts for comfort for the last 6 weeks or so! 16 weeks on Weds, and have check up with midwife Fri - bit nervous as will do blood test and I hate needles, also they'll listen for a heartbeat. Still being sick in the mornings but less frequently and normally only once a day, which is a massive improvement. CONGRATULATIONS once again, you've had quite a time of it and it's good to see a BFP with your name on it !

Congratulations too Diege, hope the next nine months are happy and healthy!

Hi Pops, emailed you some hugs, hope you're feeling brighter today!

cp3 · 14/03/2005 11:26

emmatmg · 14/03/2005 11:56

AWwwww, Fantastic news Cp.

How old will you DD2 and Ds be when the new one comes along?

Hulababy · 14/03/2005 11:57

pop - I currently teach secondary kids, ICT - but only for TWO last days. I finish completely on Wednesday After Easter I start my new job - as an Education Advisor in a prison (CAT B adults and CAT A&B/lifer YO males). Really looking forward to it.

Diege · 14/03/2005 12:01

Thanks everyone. I can't stress enough how much help this board has been for me. Not ready to leave quite yet (only tested pos this morning!)so will stay around a little longer if this is OK.
I know it's early days, but I bought a Persona kit (starter) last week (sods law!) that I've just taken the celephane (sp?) off and is untouched. I'm happy to give it to anyone who wants it,so that it can make things a little less stressful for someone else - if you can explain to an IT imbecile how I go about finding contact details etc?? Love you all

Tania2 · 14/03/2005 12:01

Twiga sorry to hear that you have been ill. I remember that when i was pg with ds i was sick until i was about 20weeks only was physicaly sick twice though. Hope you feel better soon. xx Dont stress about the needle i had to do 1 needle a day myself for 2 weeks when doing ivf now i think blood tests are a breeze

cp3 with ivf they count from when they put the embrios back in i had 2 put back in on the 3rd of March. I really am not sure why they do it that way but i should find out hay!

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 12:02

Diege
I'd be happy to take it off your hands! The Persona kit, that is! I'll contact you via CAT.

Happy and healthy 9 months to you!

Diege · 14/03/2005 12:08

It's yours expat! er...can you explain what CAT is?

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 12:10

It's 'Contact Another Talker'. You can see a link for it at the top of the board. It will allow you to send a message to the other member's email.

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 12:12

Diege,
If you go to 'Contact Another Talker' you'll be directed on how to allow another member to contact you. At present, your preferences do not allow this .

Diege · 14/03/2005 12:14

Right, got it. So I wait to receive an e-mail from you with contact details so I can send it on?
(Bit slow at this high tech stuff I'm afraid - only figured out that I could send message by clicking on heading rather than scrolling down page few days ago!)

Diege · 14/03/2005 12:16

OK, I'm going onto it now!

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 12:17

Yep. Just click on 'Contact Another Talker' and then click on 'mail preferences' to allow other talkers to contact you. As present yours is switched off, but you can change this in mail preferences.
