Happy birthday to you hen!!happy birthday to you lass!!hope you'll have a lovely sunday.xxx

sparkly · 12/03/2005 14:01

Happy Birthday for tomorrow!

Hope everyone is ok - after a week of feeling ill with cold/flu after my mc, I'm feeling positive again.

Hulababy - noticed on another thread that your dh and I do the same job though am jealous that he's younger and a partner! I reckon I've got a few years to go yet, if ever. Think if we are lucky enough to get pg and have a d-something I may have a 5 year "career break". Not told dp that yet though!

katierocket · 12/03/2005 18:14

TTC6 when I started posting!

katierocket · 12/03/2005 18:16

and happy birthday munnzie - 23??!!!

popadopalis · 12/03/2005 18:34

Hello girls!! I guess I'm the newby when it comes to posting! Only joined last thread.

Munzie - Happy Birthday for tommorrow, I wish I was 23 again. I'm only 26 but it's so near 30 I feel old!! Probably seems really young to some people.

Well Af still not here, getting annoyed as I had planned on going out on the p**s tonight but decided against it just in case even though I know Af will arrive soon.

Spending evening with Dh and the TV instead. As long as we're together doesn't matter what we're doing I guess.

yellowbear · 12/03/2005 19:26

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Munzie! It's a long time ago since I was 23! Just gone 38 - I feel ancient!

Hulababy · 12/03/2005 20:16

Sparkly - DH loves his job and yes, I think DH has been rather fortunate in his circumstances and he has kind of made himself indepsensible at his firm. He makes an awful lot of money for them - way over his target - and has held the fort a fair bit recently too for the department. As he says, right place right time. He is hoping to be made an equity partner int he next 3 or 4 years, all being well. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with your career break, and return to career.

expatinscotland · 12/03/2005 20:21

Dammit this is REALLY getting my back up! Day 33 and STILL no AF. I can't be bothered stumping up for any more pregnancy tests. 1) We are really skint this month. 2) Like I need ANOTHER negative! What the hell is going on here? She's NEVER this late. Witch! I'm bloated as hell today, too. I've been waiting and waiting. This is really making me

yellowbear · 12/03/2005 20:35

Wish I could say something to make you feel better.

Hulababy · 12/03/2005 20:38

expat - can you go to your GP's on Monday and ask for a blood test? Think they are more accurate and would at least give you a definite. Must be a nightmare though. On month 3 my AF came on CD33 - normally CD28/29 and it drove me potty. Fingers crossed.

expatinscotland · 12/03/2005 20:42

But don't you have to be mega late to get a blood test? I'm normally bang on 28 days. Always. But I got a BFN on Thursday from one of those cheapo tests b/c this is a skint month.

I'm just waiting for the penny to drop here. I know it will. I've been feeling her coming on for a fortnight now.

Hulababy · 12/03/2005 20:43

I am not sure TBH but I am sure others have. You could...ahem...not tell the truth ,is that naughty???.

expatinscotland · 12/03/2005 21:08

snap, hula. I was just thinking that . Of course, just making the appointment would be sure to bring on AF. I'm not pregnant, but I'm just wondering how long it's healthy to go w/no AF for if you've always been regular before (even tho there's been no O)? I mean, what if there is s/thing seriously wrong?

When I finally do get pregnant, I swear I'm not gonna go in at all or test till I have a bump, cuz I'm not going to believe it till I can actually feel movement.

expatinscotland · 12/03/2005 21:27

I'm just sick of my body playing games w/me. That's the worst of it. It's like AF knows I'm wanting to throw in the towel and she can just go stuff it b/c I'm not going to let her control me.

sparkly · 13/03/2005 08:08

hulababy - that's great about your dh. I think given I'm a late starter in the game, I'm doing ok. Only had about 7 months out when I had DD and have worked hard since. Most women who are partners tend to wait until they are made partner before having kids so I've done it backwards compared to most - wouldn't change it though!

Ohhh, yes, an equity partner ... I think, if I don't have a baby for reasons beyond our control, I could achieve that in the next 3-5 years. If I have a baby - maybe never.

expat - you can have a blood test done almost as soon as AF is due. When I had IVF we had blood tests done the day it was due and they are way more accurate than the normal ones. I totally understand your frustration though.

Eeek - reality just hit yesterday that's we're moving in what my dd calls 13 sleeps! Barely packed!!! That's today sorted out then!

Hulababy · 13/03/2005 09:24

Happy Birthday munnzeib

Have a fab day and I really hope that by the time your next birthday comes round you have a little addition to join in the celebrations!

munnzieb · 13/03/2005 09:56

thanks girls, well DH rang last night at 10pm, (wouldn't have minded so much but was in the middle of watching most haunted and the phone scared me cos I was in bed with the lights out! lol) then my DB rang at 2.00am this morning - B***d! lol, so I returned the favour and rang him at 8.15 after the blooming animals woke me up! lol. I'm hoping to have an addition by next birthday - or i'll be sooo depressed! lol.

AF's def here, came last night so the old witch gave me a lovely b'day pres! lol. still not to worry. it's all good really.

ES - have u thought of going to the dr's a blood test would confirm it, the home tests can show a BFN up to 8 weweks apparently so i'd get down there cos then at least u'd def know either way.

expatinscotland · 13/03/2005 15:51

Munnzie
HAPPY BDAY! Hope you enjoy a fab day and get good weather for it.

Still no sign of AF here, just the usual PMS and feeling like she'll show up at any moment. I'm knackered, but I think it's b/c of just having had guests all week and getting poor sleep. There's just no way I could be pregnant. I probably have s/thing wrong w/me, but I'm scared to find out.

DD is deffo getting close to the terrible two's -she's very displeased when things don't go her way and has the patience of a fly. I used to think it was cute to hear her twee voice saying, 'I want that' or 'No'. S/times, it's not so cute anymore.

cp3 · 13/03/2005 16:05

Happy Happy Birthday Munzie. Hope you have had a lovely day

fresco · 14/03/2005 07:00

congrats Tanya.Atlast you did it!!

hi girls.Well, it has been a good weekend with plenty of bd.today CD 17.Well, now i KNOW for sure that i ov exactly on CD15.but dont understand: i bed 1 day b4 ov and on ov day.had my dip on ov of course then straight after that dip down (like implantation) and now bak on just below line (36.4deg) which makes me doubt and think i didnt catch. confused....
does it matter if when its ov day what time you bd, if you bd in the morning or at night? we bedded 5am b4 ov and 9pm on ov.i dont know if those details are important.are they???

fresco · 14/03/2005 07:02
