Congrats, Tania! Happy and healthy 9 months to you!

The eagle has landed here! Still VERY faint and not like a normal AF onset, but she can NEVER fool me. I was prepared. This is the latest I've been, but I knew I wasn't pregnant so I'm not too disappointed.

Tania2 · 14/03/2005 07:53

Thanks girls iam still abit worried till i have my blood test on Thursday to confirm and still then i will only be 2 weeks pg so its a very long wait till that 12 week safety time. I do however keep going back to the test to see if the line has disappeared. Nup still there

Twiga & Colinsmummy hows your bumps going?

expatinscotland · 14/03/2005 08:08

Well, Katierocket, we've decided to bite the bullet and go accupuncture again, even if we have to plastic it. I just feel that Eastern medicine is miles ahead on treatment for issues like mine. It's becoming very obvious that I'm having problems w/ovulation, as I haven't had one since coming off the Pill in October. I'm 34, and feel I need to be proactive, so I'm phoning my accupuncture therapist today.

sparkly · 14/03/2005 08:17

Tania - that's great news! I remember waiting after ivf to have the blood test done. Don't think I was every brave enough to test on my own! Congrats!!!

Expat - really sorry AF has arrived - I'm waiting for mine post mc so we can start trying again.

katierocket · 14/03/2005 08:25

oh Tania - SOOOOO pleased for you - you really deserve it.

expat - good luck, I'm very hopeful that the acunpuncture will help.

fresco · 14/03/2005 08:26

ES did you check your hormon level re: ov?

Hulababy · 14/03/2005 08:28

Oh Tania, congratulations!!! Tha is fantastic news. Well done

CD16 today. No positivie OPK yet though.

katierocket · 14/03/2005 08:33

if anyone could help with this problem, I'd be really grateful
oving late

itsalongtimecoming · 14/03/2005 08:53

wow tania - i'm soo chuffed for u. i'm sure everything will go fine for you, put ur feet up and rest, let DP do all the work with DS - how is he by the way?

Fresco - stop worrying about OV and BD hon, it doesn't matter on the time of day as long as they are sperm in ur tubes when u OV, besides the egg can live for up to 24 hrs so I wouldn't stress, as for the temping thing Hula's ur girl for that - i've never gone into it.

Spoke to DH last night on the phone and told him my fears that something's majorly wrong with me - I have a horrible feeling even thou persona say's I OV i'm sure the eggs aren't getting thru - would it still show I was/would I still have AF if they weren't getting thru? anyhow, he recons I need to relax and just focus on the sex and not the baby - that's bloody easy for him to say isn't it!!! all he's intrested in is loads a sex since he's been away soo long. anyhow 4 weeks to go!!!! YAY!!!! (u just know i'm going to be counting down the days soon.... ooh 30 to go! )

(munnzieb)

fresco · 14/03/2005 09:02

hula, Hula Help!!hehe you are needed.i am just panicking because on the day i ov i had my big dip and the day after big dip but down.and today its back to 36.40deg so just below the cover line. but if you catch shouldnt temp go well above cover line?

fresco · 14/03/2005 09:03

itsalongtimecoming.wow, you really feel it being a long time.munnzieb was a better name? i am sure you will be fine hen.xxxx

itsalongtimecoming · 14/03/2005 09:11

I don't know that how I feel, do u think I should change back - I did want MB but someone else already has it

fresco · 14/03/2005 09:13

oh i see sorry.no, if you are happy with it then its ok.

fresco · 14/03/2005 09:14

MB, have you done any blood test to see ur hormon level to see if you ov or something along those lines hen?

Hulababy · 14/03/2005 09:14

fresco - not 100% sure - not seen my own pg graph yet!!! There is such a thing as an implantation dip. And it can go up and down for other reasons (itemp is very fickle and varies with lots of other factors). Have a look at some of the graphs on Fertility Friend - do a search of temp dip, and pg positive - they are so different.

Not mcuh help I know. I find the second half of the month for temping a biut stressful TBH. Hence giving up on it this month for a break.

itsalongtimecoming · 14/03/2005 09:15

we're CD 2, DH is being lovely, and he actually remebered my B'Day! lol, then proceeded to shout at me as i'd cooked my self a frozen lasagna for tea (I couldn't be arsed after painting the kitchen to do anything proper) so he said I should have done myself something special and so on. I think i'll just get a chinese with the girls over a on pay day! (that'll teach him!)

itsalongtimecoming · 14/03/2005 09:17

yes Fresco I have, (well 5 months ago,) the first one I had a level of 22 (only off pill for 5 months) the second one was 31 so normal as 'normal' is 30,

do u think persona would say OV and i'd have a clock work cycle if the egg's weren't getting thru the tube? (only having one makes me stress a bit more) i'll be gutted if we don't catch as soon as DH comes home (well within a couple of months)

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 09:37

Hello! Man I feel like an addict who couldn't get a hit! I tried yesterday and couldn't post a message so hopefully it will work today.

Munzie - I tried to wish you a happy birthday yesterday but couldn't so I hope you had a good day. I'm gonna read the thread now and catch up.

Diege · 14/03/2005 09:52

Well girls...a very exciting morning . Didn't think I'd ovulated this month (had been testing from day 8 to 22 with OPK and no line), but since Friday felt really crampy, sore tingly boobs, just like when I was pregnant with DDS. So....to cut a long story short, bought preg test and ...BFP!!! Arghhhhhh!!!!!!!
Scary digital one, but came up 'Pregnant'. In absolute shock, as despite symptoms, mind kept on going back to OPKs negs. DHs birthday today too, so nice surprise! Congrats to Tania too - how brave to test before blood test!!

Hulababy · 14/03/2005 09:54

Congratulations Diege; excellent news. Well done!

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 09:56

Wow, so much has happened since I last read it!

Tania - CONGRATULATIONS Hope you have a fabulous and healthy pg.

Fresco - I thnk I'm gonna start doing the temp thing next cycle. Can you tell me a bit about it, like what to look for to know when I ov? I'm gonna start OPK's too just waiting for my persona monitor!

MB - I'm finally gonna start using persona next cycle!! I'm just waiting for a persona monitor which I bought of the MNetter you showed me who was selling. Thanks for that BTW, Do I need more than one pack of sticks for the first cycle?

Hula - Hey! Long time no chat!! Hope you are well.

ES - Sorry to hear that the witch Af has arrived. I'm still waiting and it's driving me insane.

Can anyone tell me if I would know definately when I fall pg? I mean I really don't think I am due to no signs except I do feel I need to pee sometimes when I don't. I'm CD40 now and still no sign of Af but when I did a test I got BFN. I've only done the one and I don't really want to do another because BFN are so depressing. What should I do? I'm going crazy here. I think Dh is getting less patient with my angry outburst too!!

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 09:58

Diege CONGRATULATIONS. Wow that's brilliant news. I hope you have a fab day and Dh has a fab birthday, I'll bet he's well chuffed to have that as a b-day present!!

Hulababy · 14/03/2005 10:00

I am good popadopalis. Last day of school teaching (EVER???) this week and hoping to move on 1st April. Hoping once all that stress is out of way, TTC will fall naturally into place. Ha! We will see. How are you?

katierocket · 14/03/2005 10:05

pop - you need 2 sets of sticks and they have to have the same batch number (printed on side of book)

popadopalis · 14/03/2005 10:06

hey hula! What age group do you teach? Not sure I coud do that job unless they were ickle ickle people not secondary though. I'm fine as far as physical health goes but think my mental is in serious question!! Mind you it usually is so nevermind!! lol!!

I'm CD40 now and getting more mentally unstable by the hour!!
