Hi, I had an ectopic in May and am coming up to the end of my 3 month wait following methotrexate treatment. Need to wait for blood results in September but hope to start TTC from October. Feel really positive about the future and want to start looking forward. Anyone want to pass the time with me?

Hi olivo! I think I ov'd last night though don't have enough high temps to prove it yet... so I guess the 2WW is starting round about now! Let me know how your are doing if you'd like some company!

olivo · 05/12/2008 20:08

VM, i'm fairly convinced i ov-ed this morning so i'll need you to hold my hand for the next week or two. let's hope this month is our month!

spats · 06/12/2008 14:51

not been on for a while due to broken laptop- anyone due AF in next few days? i am due tom (ish) so am awaiting her arrival with trepidation!! x

VillageMum · 06/12/2008 15:15

Olivo, here's my hand! I'm pretty sure I did ov on the night of Dec 4th - had ov pains and could swear that I felt the moment when it happened; they had tapered off again by the following morning... I hope the next 2 weeks go well for you!!

spats, hello and welcome back, good luck with AF tomorrow!

littlewifey · 10/12/2008 18:42

dawn37 · 24/12/2008 12:58

Happy xmas everyone, unfortunately my appointment at the hospital was cancelled until 21st Jan! still no AF but yesterday & today my urine smells really weird (sorry TMI!) and as I've wiped just now there is a minute trace of blood, I mean really hardly anything so dont know whats going on there. Anyone got any good news yet?

olivo · 24/12/2008 18:19

hi, littlewifey and dawn, hope those AFs stay away this month.
there have been a few bfps - i got one last week . people seem to be on the festive 2ww wait thread or hoping for september thread.
i hope you have a fab christmas

littlewifey · 24/12/2008 23:20

Aww, congratulations Olivo, that's brilliant news. I am BDing for England as we speak... well not exactly right now as we speak but you know what I mean Fingers crossed for a christmas conception for me!! Hope your appointment brings you some answers Dawn xx

dawn37 · 26/12/2008 20:14

Had some good news today (cannpt actually believe I'm so pleased!) I think AF's on it's way, had a watery blood smear today, more than the other day so definately think things are happening at last! Olivo, how are you feeling? hope your new pregnancy is going well x

littlewifey · 04/01/2009 09:57

Hi everyone, been a bit quiet on here the last few weeks! Dawn, did your AF arrive properly? I was keeping my fingers crossed for you. Not too long until your hosp app now. I'm officially on the 2ww, well think I am.. but my cycle is so all over the place, that I'm not quite sure if I've ov'd or not! I've been saying all year, that when it came to ttc, I wouldn't stress.. yet I've become the queen of obsessing the last 2 weeks! I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work mon to take my mind of it! VKFAB and Suzibhoy are you still around? x

dawn37 · 04/01/2009 21:34

No it didn't arriv properly, had a slight bleed next day & that was it, so I'm not counting it, as much as I'd like to! My daughter goes in for her op on Tues, so that'll keep my mind off things for a little bit, but really I'm looking forward to my appointment, but also dreading it if that makes sense?...Anyway, anyone know how Olivo is doing? good luck littlewifey, keeping my fingers crossed for you x

olivo · 05/01/2009 11:41

hello dawn! nice to hear from you. I'm ok thanks, quite nauseous and shattered but i find it reassuring, being an over-anxious type! days are passing sooo slowly! no doubt you feel the same, waiting for your appt.hope yuo don't mind me popping by to check up on you all.
baby dust to all.

littlewifey · 05/01/2009 16:26

Dawn I hope your daughter's op goes well tomorrow. I can understand why you are looking forward to your app but also dreading it. I feel like that about when/if I get a BFP again. I really want one, but am dreading the prospect of all the worrying etc.
Hello Olivo, I am really glad to hear that all is going well with you and thanks for the baby dust, I'm scooping it into my handbag

VeryKeenForABean · 05/01/2009 17:43

Hi,

Am still around and about - thank you so much for asking!!

Af arrived before Santa on Christmas Eve, so was earlier than I was expecting - so think cycle is a bit shorter than before. I tried really hard not to mind, but I did always hope I would be pregnant again before the due date of my ectopic. That's why I haven't been around so much. have pulled myself together now and am back on plan! Sorry I haven't really followed the thread recently - hope all is well.

Baby dust to all x

Can anyone join this dicussion?

My first pregnancy last Sept turnt out to be ectopic, was treated with methotrexate and 3 months have been and gone, so can try again.

Got Ovulation calenders at the ready and hopefully will have great news soon.

Isn't it funny not even pregnant yet and starting to worry about how i'm gonna feel if it does happen i.e PANIC!

Nice to know that ladies like yourself are there to talk to.

littlewifey · 06/01/2009 21:46

Hi VKFAB, I'm sorry that AF got you down and know exactly how you feel about due date. I hope that a BFP will happen for you very soon.
Hello Ralphie, I'm sorry to hear about your ectopic, but you have definitely come to the right place, as we all undestand how you must be feeling. I had a mmc over a year ago now, and although desperate to fall pg, I am also petrified for when/if I do!!

littlewifey · 15/01/2009 20:11

Hi ladies, just thought I would let you all know that I got a BFP this morning! I'm over the moon, but also petrified and worrying already! Hope everyone else is ok and we have some more BFP's soon. Dawn, how is your daughter? xx

dawn37 · 16/01/2009 10:17

Hi, Charlotte is doing very well thanks, We got home from hospital Weds, it's quite hard going though as she is now wheelchair bound for another 5 weeks! I'm thinking maybe my pregnancy was ectopic for a reason as I would've found it extremely difficult coping with this (just being positive!) I have my appointment on 21st Jan so hopefully I can get sorted now. Congratulations littlewifey, you must be thrilled to bits...thats 3 positives in as many months, I think our lucks changing ladies!!!

littlewifey · 16/01/2009 17:37

Thanks Dawn. I am thrilled, although also worrying already about all the things that could go wrong (like my MMC last time). Must try to stay positive! Maybe there is something in your theory about the ectopic. My mom is a firm believer in things happening for a reason, she felt that when my mmc happened, it was because I wasn't at theright stage in my life yet (lot going on work etc) to have a baby. Maybe she was right, but it still doesn't make things any easier does it?! I am glad that Charlotte is doing well and I will keep my fingers crossed for your appointment. Make sure you pop back on and let us know how it goes x

dawn37 · 22/01/2009 12:13

Hi everyone, Unfortunately I've been in hospital with chronic ear infection & IV antibiotics, however I'm pleased to say I got a proper AF on Tues & my appointment was Weds in the same hospital, so made it for that..he was pleased I was on antibiotics & that I've got my AF, he wasn't concerned it had taken so long, he is sending me for a scan of my ovaries in 8-9 weeks time then putting me on clomid again, but in the meantime he has said if I miss my next period to come in straight away, he is hoping that the antibiotic timing with my AF will in fact help me & I might conceive naturally...So here goes!!! How are aall our pregnant ladies doing? I hope it is going well for you & you're progressing as you should be? I'm sure we would all like to hear theres hope for us & hear your positive stories... Ralphie, I also had methotrexate in Sept, but have only just got my 1st Af after! Hope you're doing ok?

littlewifey · 24/01/2009 10:54

Hi Dawn, sorry to hear about your ear infection- sounds very painful. Very glad to hear that your AF has arrived though, heres to lots of BDing!!! I think I'm about 5 (poss almost 6 weeks today) No Symptoms, except for feeling incredibly tired! Worrying about lack of symptoms and thinking of paying for a private early scan in 2 weeks time!! I wonder if, even with a successful early scan, I would ever stop worrying though!

dawn37 · 24/01/2009 16:00

The hospital should give you an early scan anyway? I've ben told to have one straight away if I miss period next time..I have had a letter already asking me to make an appointment for my pelvic ultrasound. If I'm lucky to get pregnant again, if my HCG levels are rising adequately & my early scan is fine I'd like to hope I could relax enough to enjoy it, so you will be fine..let everyone wait on you & make the most of it until those sleepless nights & dirty nappies come!!! xxx

dawn37 · 30/01/2009 10:33

Hi hows everyone? it's really quiet on here! how are you feeling littlewifey? I have a scan on Weds just to check everythings ok, so hopefully alls good, I'm using OPK's like mad just hoping for a positive so at least I know I'm ovulating.

dawn37 · 04/02/2009 13:12

I've been for my pelvic scan today & she said that there was an egg there & I should ovulate in around 4 - 5 days, so I'm so pleased that I'm at least producing an egg! hows everyone else doing? x
