my doc told me to avoide it where possible as it has the opposite affect.

Well this month on clomid was hell. had really bad tummy pains and headaches. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, we had our first iui appointment yesterday and it looks like its all set to start on the 2nd day of my next period which should be the 8th march so wuhooo!!!!! hope everyone else is doing fine.
Hopefor - i asked about the alcohol thing yesterday and she said she'd never heard of it being a problem

Im glad everyone is good, been a bit quiet by the looks of it.
Well i got the all clear from biopsy as its only mild ab cells so just gotta another smear in 6 months. good news as I can now arrange an app with specialist to get all my results and sort out a plan of action. Back to ttc for me. Think ill try the sperm to egg plan.

Well i had my scan and the baby looks sooooooo cute..... so i am totally happy and now ive seen it i realise i am pregnant....

Got midwife next week so its all systems go....

Sarahshy...... how did you get on??? all systems go for you next month.... what have they said they are doing?????

appointment went well and yes ts all systems go for next cycle. which should start this sunday. We have to have lots of scans at different points and inject myself everyday. Sounds scary but ill get used to it. They seem to think now that i may not be able to get pg cause my lining doesnt get thick enough for implantation. So iui here we come.

Hope im in the right discussion room i am new to this site today! Well, me and my partner been tryin just over a year but i have very irregular periods and dont seem to ovulate. Started my first cycle of clomid 50mg on monday and got scan next week to check if ive ovulated.

congratulations to all who have conceived and good luck to all trying! I'll keep you posted.

glad your doing well georgie and the first scan went well.
Sarashy - its good its all systems go and fingers crossed.

I had my app on monday and the specialist went through all my test/scan/blood results. everything looks fine except my ovulation was a bit low at 28 so Im back on clomid woohoo. This time im being monitored with scans so will be interesting to see follicles as I was just left to my own devices last year when GP put me on them.
Im trying to be positive as the clomid last year obviously didnt work but hey ho. Gonna try the sperm to egg plan and relax a bit. If this doesnt work we will be doing IUI, does anyone know if this is free on NHS??

i just started my iui, first insem on monday, and yes you get 3 attempts free on the nhs. or we do in our area.
