my periods stopped due to me loosing my mum in september so my last period was actually in june as got worse they gave me provera to start them up again which worked.... How long you been trying?

been trying for about a year, am on my 3rd clomid month and my hubby keeps saying this is going to be our month but do get a bit down hearted about it.

Thanks.... oh right the deed.... lol.... My other half always says theres always next month... im like rarrrrrrrr!!!!!!! shut up!!!!! they dont understand you feel not a proper women - well i do... then everyone around me falls naturally..... How do you know you'll ovulate every month???

How old are you if you dont mind me asking and do you have children already???

I am 35 just this month and i have a daughter who is 8. she is from a previous marriage and after all the tests my progesterone was low after 2 consecutive months of tests, so was given clomid,

i responded like you to 50 mgs so am hoping and praying that will get my baby.

I guess i have used the clearblue ovulation kits every month. ( only didnt on the first where thought just leave it to nature, yeah right)

It is very upseting for us when all around you seems to be babies but just look how many threads there are on here with people ttc (trying to conceive) so you not alone.

I am into my 2 week wait (due 5th dec) so am bored and despondent and hopeful and all the other things that we all feel at this stage.

No those other halves do not understand, am with you on that.

Well your still young and you have a daughter too so thats good you can fall pregnant... im over weight too, which doesnt help i no, but thats a vicious circle cause i love a bar of chocolate when im depressed....

Ive certainly learnt alot from you today though, so thank you... i think im like you mid cycle, i think im due on, on the 8th Dec...

Im 29 and have a little boy who is 3 in Feb, i never dreamt of having a big age gap and my son he was an accident....so i find this all very annoying trying to plan whens the best time etc plus the spark goes in the bedroom and seems more of a chore.....

Am i passed the chance now then am i too far in my cycle now????

I would just keep going this month at least every other day until you either get a positive on a pg test (BFP) (big fat positive) or that horrid AF.

Have a read of the link i sent you earlier it explains it all alot better.

I agree with you its a pain when it gets like this whole timed thing, but then i also think that the clomid can only work if we bding on the right days.

i try not to tell my hubby that its a crucial night and that seems to help

ok i will keep trying... my ovulation kit says no... so i will keep going.... I did read that sperm to the egg and yeah it helped and if im the same next month i will definitley do that....

Well what can i say only good luck.... im going to Eurodisney this weekend maybe as it'll all be forgotten it may be the best time....

I'll be back on the 2nd then i'll no your results on the 5th....

Do you experience any pain or anything on clomid sometimes i get a sharp pain in my stomach just a bit lower from my boob, i wondered if that was anything.... it comes and goes....

I think im falling to pieces.....

and also the grapefruit knicker checking brigade theres always afew a month.

I tend to get the odd pain around ovulation and also get hot flushes but thats all been lucky really

well i was supposed to be getting married in August but i really did think i would have been pregnant by now so i may have to post pone wedding... not a good look, a heavy bride... hehehee

this sperm meets egg plan thing am just kinda into it now as on cd11. do you really have to stop trying/ bding after you ov?

Just to answer your question.

Yes there have been loads of pregnancies happen on here.
You have just missed a whole bunch of us getting our good news together!

At one point there was someone getting a positive almost every other day!

But there tends to then be a slightly dry patch for a while.

To lift your spirits even more, the original founder of this thread ( this is PART 2 ) had her baby girl in September.

We have had a few early miscarriages unfortunately...but even then a few of us are now well on our way to a successful pregnancy.

I am now 21 weeks gone and another lady who was on here in the past is only about 2 weeks ahead of me!

There is loads and loads of success stories...just stay persistant and keep going! Good luck!

Another thing I forgot to add was that being overweight was a BIG barrier to falling pregnant for lots of us.

I was diagnosed with PCOS and once I knew this, I knew I could not make excuses for my weight anymore as it wasn't helping.

I lost 2.5 stone and even though I am still well overweight, it was enough ! i was trying for 14 months before this with no luck, then as soon as I lost the 2 stone, I fell pregnant.

Unfortunately I lost the baby at 7 weeks.

But 2 months later and another half stone gone, I was pregnant again!!

It is hard to hear but losing weight may be the magic cure!

Thanks Dungungirl, i read alot of messages from you previously, so i feel quite chuffed youve written to me... i know my weight is an issue and i do try and do summit about it but for some reason it dont go anywhere....

Its been a bit worse of late because i lost my mum, but i hope when i come back from euro disney i can start again.....

hey Georgie- when taking clomid they usually monitor you closely for the first month to check that its actually working and that they are not over stimulating you overies as this can cause problems, so thats what the scan was for.
And good news it shows that i have got two follicles that they expect to pop within the next 48hrs. so guess what ill be doing this wknd. lots and lots of bding. And no ive not fallen yet. me and my hubby have been tring for over 2 yrs now so fingers crossed the clomid will work as its taken ages to get to this stage.

good luck with your clomid and try and think positive i no its hard but it does help

i myself am overweight by quite alot have pcos as well doctor told me to lose weight or i wont get pregnant i started my 1st round of clomid 50mg but didnt ov so they upped my dose to 100mg the next month and i ov but only to 32.5 which they said was qiute low but i concieved on that month i ovulated and am now nearly 18 weeks pg and i didnt lose weight we got busy every night so i wouldnt miss a day even though the nurse said every other day .

I have not been asked to have a scan and this is the 2nd month of being on it im just waiting for my period which is due i think 8th december...

I want a scan..... god how that would make things so much easier knowing when your to do the nooookkkkyyyy..... im bored now...

sorry i have not been in touch. I have had heartache and have been down in the dumps.
I finished clomid cycle 6 and i doubt that i am preganant. To let you guys know that me and my partner have broken up??? yes it's true. I have just found out that he has another child?? teenager? i knew he had the one child which i grew to love and i would look after him. I found out he found out an never told me??? so you can tell that i am depressed to say the least. 9 f*** years we have been together and now this? i can't be with him i really can't, if he neva told me about this child then what else has he beeen up to? All the tablets and stress of is it working or not. So i am single and childless what more can i do? I have put up with alot of things but this i can't do. I feel like i don't know him at all. I feel sick and i am just putting on a happy face and leave it alone. I know that my child will come to someone who is more deserving and will respect me.
Happy birthday too me!!1 it will be in 2wks time tuesday. I have cried my tears now i can move on with my life.

I dont know you but i am truely sorry to read whats happened... 9 years is a long time to throw away, are you sure your doing the right thing? Are you doing it because you cant trust him or because he has 2 of what you want????

Sometimes we let our heart rule our head, and this makes us do funny things, think about it if you and your partner have been trying for a long time and then he finds out he has a child, i think it would be really hard for him to tell you, maybe he didnt want to upset you anymore than you are... Men dont think!!!

Cam what ever you decide is your decision, but its your birthday and xmas coming up and thats not a time to be alone...
