Pinkie - welcome
Your in the same boat as me as ttc after getting married - how long is it for you?. Have you or dh been diagnosed with any problems before going on clomid? Im afraid it is disheartening when you know af is coming but it is only the 1st month and you need to be positive for future months if this one fails. As you have probably read on here that side effects of clomid are quite close to pregnancy so dont uncross them fingers till af is here.

its not been that long - 10 months but i have a miscarriage history (have a dd from previous marriage) so did routine tests and i dont ovulate properly. dh tests came back good but i have still put him on ferticare and proxeed plus anything to increase chances.

Welcome to the site, i have only just started coming on here to and have found it very encouraging to read other peoples stories and successes. It is soo hard when you fnd out friends are pg you want to be sooo happy for them but cant help feeling so devastated for yourself. I hate it., its the worst thing about ttc.

Thanks for the words of encouragement its realy nice to know that i'm not on my own and not a complete b**ch for feeling this way as i sometimes feel that i am. I'm the same as you i found out on fri and felt fine until i got home and had time to think about it, it all started going over in my head and i just felt like life isnt fair and i must be an awful person. I have been so good for around a year now and have been putting ttc to the back of my mind, not talking about it not tracking AF just going with the flow but that doesnt seem to have helped either i realy feel like i'm at the end of my teather and cant take anymore.
As you can see feeling more positive today he he NOT. Trying to pull myself out of the depression but not sure the clomid is helping either as it enhances the Pmt which i get quite a bit anyway.
Its great that the clinic is doing something to find out whats wrong but i realy hope the tabs work for you so you dont have to go through all that, make sure you let us all know whats happening and i'm here if you need to talk at all.Where are you in cycle at Mo? i will pray for you. I'm not a great believer but will try anything so think it may be worth it.

just waiting for blood results after first cycle of clomid. was really wishing i was going to be one of those that fell on the first time they took it but no such luck as keep having af pains. am dreading the clomid symptoms coming again am going to try acupuncture along side it as everyone on here says its relaxing and some even say it works.

i just completed my 1st cycle of clomid and had symptoms like tingling ovaries(as if its working hard), and headache in the beginning and end.
btw reading your post pinkie, hope you are the lucky ones to fall pregnant with 1st cycle how was your symptoms?
i took clomid earlier this yr (in jan) but mc and so started taking clomid again in late sept.
am looking forward to anyone to share their clomid side effects/symptoms in the near future

my symptons while actually taking the clomid and early on was tiredness and slight headache. got away quite lightly. also had twinges since cd10 in my ovaries and cant tell which side.

progesterone, lh and fsh bloods came back good today so leaving me on 50mgs but not holding breath for bfp

Well i am, wating for AF to come so i can start cycle 5!!r1 I spoke to my nurse today who told me that i will not be monotired as the clomid is working so i have lots od bedding to do? it is cold outside so i can get warm ;)

My pregnant ladies lauralou, moonlit and dungungirl, would it hurt to bed every day? or just on the ovulating days???
My mind is at rest knowing it's working i just need the one swimmer to be in your club lol xxx

Not feeling to bad today i had a very long chat with my mate last night and she realy gets how i feel, i think thats coz every other time its happened with others she always been the one i talked to so she realy knows how i am and that its not personal to her just that it feels unfair to me.
I'm feeling tired on clomid and hot flushes but other than that ive not had anything else. My boobs are soooo sore but i know thats the clomid to it enhances pmt. Due in about 8 days or so i'm keeping fingers crossed but dont think it has worked this time. Oh well if it hasnt at least i can try again next month, would realy love to be one of those that it happens first time for though.

yeah it just takes one stubborn swimmer for a BFP lol and hes proving to be difficult
am on CD 15 of CD31 today nd my bbs are starting to hurt?? its too early for any PMT and i hardly have this symptom when period is nearing...so strange. hope its a good sign though..

surely thats a very good sign that BBs are hurting esp if its not a normal sympton for you. When did you Ov? do you track it ?

I am on day 26 but my periods sort of come when they feel like it. Last month it was 28 days exactly but the month before it was 38 days so it can be difficult to predict, i find when i'm waiting for it it seems to take longer it must be psychological and my BBs are very sore but i always get sore BBS. I think my LF is about 16 days, i Ovd about day 16-17 so i have about 6 days to go before i will be due. I hate this waiting for it though it seems to take forever to come and then if it just a few minutes late i'm on edge hoping this month will be it!!!!
I realy dont think it has happened this month for me but being on here has realy helped, i tend to go on and on, he he but it helps just to get it all out and know there are others that understand. Thanks for the good luck i need all that i can get at the moment, and very good luck to you i'm wishing for everyone that it will happen for them.

You on CD27? I'm CD 26. How long is normal cycle? mine is normally 30-35. You never know we are both on first month fingers crossed I'm wishing you so much luck.

Thought perhaps we could support each other in the run uo to AF.

All I can say is that when we tried bedding on the days we thought I was fertile...we obviously were just missing the right days.

Like I have mentioned before, the month that I fell pregnant, was the first month that we bed prettyeveryday, starting from cycle day 10 through to day 29!

It was hard work - not going to say it wasn't ! DH was ready to become a monk by the end of the month!!!

You can imagine how pleased he was that it worked that month!

i am on cd28 today and i couldnt help myself for doing an early pg test BFN never mind guess not my month although AF not here yet am sure it will be.

Hope you get good news.

Am going to try every other day from day 8 through to end of month next cycle.

Im on CD27 so we are only one day apart. You never know though even though you had BFN it may just be too early i'm still hoping for you. I think i ov CD17 this month so wont be due til nest when LP is 16 days i'm sure of it.

If it doesnt work for me this month i think am going to join you and try every other day til end of month, i'm also going to get Ov tests to make sure its working and so we know exactly when its happening at least then we can give it best shot.

which opks have you used with the clomid as before i was using cbfm and they say it doesnt work with clomid tried not to obsess this month and didnt use any. That'll teach me probably missed those important days

Hey pinkie didnt use any this month as i do feel it when OV so thought would just go with the flow. But if it hasnt worked this month will do OPK next month. I also have CBFM but will probably just go for the digital CB shop brought one that gives happy face. I dont see why it shouldn't work its all the same hormones.

Are you normally CD28. When i read the leaflet it said clomid can lengthen cycle so be prepared to have a longer LP so may not get AF when normally expected. If i dont get AF next weds will wait another week and then think about doing BF. although i hate BFs just dont like doing them.
Have funny pains today very low in pelvis and like stabbing pains V strange dont normally have these. Perhaps a good sign

mine can range from cd26-cd34 but that was ages ago.

i also get stabbibg pains in lower pelvis and think AF is coming and then nothing, not holding my breath though.

you know what last month only knew what everyone else was telling me about the clomid , now really not looking forward to the symptoms

i didnt check for ov this month as i didnt bring OPK when travelling..so i dont know when i ov. its usually CD 15/16 but the clomid may have made me ov early..
and actually only my nipps are paining, not the whole thing
pinkie, hopefully the stabbing lower abs pain are a good sign..

I am coming up to 14 weeks! I can't wait to get to 20 weeks as that is when I personally feel that things are a done deal! Plus...get to find out the sex of the baby then too!

Hi Nandos, from what i understand clomid can give sore boobs etc. I thought it would make me Ov earlier to they said 7 days after taking last tablet but it didnt come until 11 days after i took last tablet. What was that all about. I'm realy hung up on having Ov on CD 17 but i didnt to OPK either i just get pain when Ov so go on that. I suppose i could have OV early so AF would be due now. i had CD 28 last month and perhaps thats why getting AF pains already. Hopefully just the nips paining is a good sign i'll keep fingers crossed for you.

AF arrived this morning - bring on the Clomid. Taking clomid days 2 - 6 and no blood work this month as gynae was pleased with last months. Going to buy clearblue digital opk with the smiley face as says on box can use with clomid. starting acupuncture, increased water intake no alcohol, no coffee and just on another thread got told grapfruit juice meant to help EWCM so going to get some.

Havent done BF as yet was going to wait til next thurs and dont think Af is due til weds. cant be sure though. This is driving me mad though bless me.

So sory Af arrived for you what a bummer i realy hope it works this month for you. Keep me updated of progress and make sure try every other day for CD8 give you the best chance.

had acupuncture yesterday and af disappeared until coming back with vengenance this morning so am classing today as cd1. (yesterday was just a threat with some staining -sorry TMI)

doing acupuncture again next weds which will be cd6 and last clomid day wonder what they will make of that.

Have read on another thread that grapefruit juice helps CM so with side effects of clomid am going to give it a try apparently needs to be unsweetened.

How are you getting on any BFs yet.
