Anyone TTC after a recent early loss and wanting support? (Aug 26)

Hi, I thought I’d start a separate thread for anyone who is TTC after a recent early loss, so we can support each other through what can be a really difficult time. 💕

I’m 39 and TTC for my first. I conceived after around four cycles, but sadly had a missed miscarriage mid-July at around 9 weeks, (development had stopped at 6).

I stopped bleeding last Sunday and have started noticing some cervical mucus returning over the past few days, so I’m hoping my body is beginning to get back into its normal rhythm.

I’m still testing positive on pregnancy tests, so can’t use LH strips to track ovulation yet, so for now, my plan is to get back to some exercise, eating well and have sex every 2-3 days. I’m feeling positive and hopeful but also trying to take my mind off the waiting!

If anyone else is going through something similar and would like to share the journey and support each other x

Please can you look at these pictures and tell me if you see a 2nd line. I really don’t know. I’m 11dpo. 3rd cycle after MM

Sorry about your BFN @fluffycauliflowers, it sucks. I've continued to test negative but now my period is a day late just to fuck with my mind ✨

I got mine in full force yesterday. We press on 🥴

I think I can see a whisper of a line. Very faint though and easier to see in first photo. Sending luck xx

its vvvvv faint so I’m thinking evaporation line. I done the test early afternoon. I’ll do another tomorrow in the morning just to make sure.

I hope you get a darker line tomorrow!

I guess not so recent positive for me but despite the complications and bleeds ... we've made it to 12 weeks! Had my scan and all looks well, and NIPT come back low risk.

My journey has been an absolute nightmare tbh😅 managed to get under EPU for early scans…let’s say they are not going well! First scan, smaller than what I had expected, no heartbeat, went back 10 days later…heartbeat seen but barely any growth😬 scheduled to come back 2 weeks later and really didn’t think I’d make it and I’d start miscarrying before but here I am and third scan due on Monday! I am pretty certain this scan will confirm the inevitable but at this point I just want an answer to end the limbo. This has been torture😅

I hope you are keeping well thank you for checking in on us! I have still been looking on the thread now and again when my head was in the right space! I am sure I’ll be back on the thread after things have settled after this and we’re ready to try again x

I’m 10 weeks and have my 12 week scan on 9th Nov so not too long to wait. I’m still feeling pretty anxious but just counting the days to the scan.

I’ve still been following along with the thread and hoping to see more BFPs on here soon x

I've had another blank ovulation test to solid smiley in 24 hours! No flashy smiley. Same thing happened last month and then delayed ovulation. Not sure why but hoping ovulation isn't delayed again as that messed with my head. I think I'm going to just try to dtd for the next 2 days and then every other day for a week. Cover my bases!!

Wow, sounds like you have a quick oestrogen and Lh surge? Do you get any ovulation symptoms? Sounds like a good dtd plan!

I went from flashing smiley to solid smiley last night, but no temperature increase this morning. Really don’t feel like I’m ovulating. Felt quite down yesterday but think I was just tired!

Thank you everyone. I have started cramping and some form of spotting so I’m pretty certain this is the start of the loss, and tbh I just feel relief. Sounds awful but I came to terms with this ending a while ago. Now just apprehensive about the physical side but hopefully it’s not too bad.

CD4 here and and I'm trying to up the wholesome distracting hobbies! Today's adventures are baking soda bread and starting to make a Christmas stocking for my new little nephew ❤️
