TTC August 2026

So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I went for a 3D pelvic scan today as I am under the care of Gynaecology for recurrent miscarriages.

The sonographer couldn't find anything to worry about (small fibroid on the outside of womb) but need to wait to official letter with all the details. Along with my blood tests results that came back all clear, it sounds like nothing is wrong with me, we are just really unlucky!

I’ve just got back from the doctors because of the pressure in my pelvis, nausea, fatigue and back ache.

turns out if you symptom spot during TTC you shouldn’t forget your other organs. They think I have a bladder infection so I’m on a course of antibiotics 😅

I have a small fibroid near the outside too. Sometimes they can cause trouble if they are blocking a tube etc, you can get your tubes checked with another procedure called a hycosy. This is often the next step if you continue to have no luck. I am having one done in October if nothing has happened by then. The food thing is that after the procedure people often go on to conceive because when they check your tubes it has a 'flushing' effect.

Ah no! So typical to have a totally different issue going on when you're preoccupied with one thing isn't it! Hope it resolved soon for you and thank you. I am on cycle day 20 any my cycles are usually about 27/28 days so not too long left of this one.

Yesterday’s FMU vs today’s (13dpo) on the one with 2 and then all 3 so far (11dpo afternoon to 12dpo FMU to today’s FMU)…. Do we think there’s progression? I honestly thought I’d have more of a jump 😬 I’m having cramps/ similar symptoms to when I had my DD which is reassuring me and my period usually has come by now but I feel like I need to get to 15dpo to really be “late”!! So nervous

I would say there’s a slight progression. You could try a different test like a FRER

8DPO and test is negative this morning as expected. Had 2 days of very light spotting so I hoped that if anything was going on it would detect it as spotting stopped 2 days ago. I’ll try again on Monday

Yeah it’s hard as the past ones are obviously dry. When I compare like past photos of when they are wet it seems better. I did a clear blue too but this is the first one I’ve done. Saved my digital for Monday to see if it says 2-3 weeks

Hi, better than I have been, still feeling sick. But pain is better than it was. They said yesterday they'll be releasing me today

11DPO BFN, think I am out this morning now can feel cramps starting. Really thought I had something different with the weird UTI type cramps the other day. Just waiting on AF now booo

At the beginning of August, I had my first 2WW of the month followed by AF. Then I got my peak this morning. So I will start my second 2WW of this month in 2 days. This is the 8th postpartum cycle and I am still feeling hopeful. Fingers crossed 🤞

6DPO, feel like I'm at the stage where I start to go a bit crazy.

We are out today so I should be nicely distracted but then I have 3 days in an office by myself, I just know I won't be able to think of anything else and I'll over analyse every 'symptom' 😂

Another negative test this morning. I’m just torturing myself at this point. I know it’s still early but feel like I’m definitely out this month. If the spotting from 3-4 days ago was implantation it would have shown up on a test by now wouldn’t it?

11dpo and BFN for me too. I know it's still early but instinct is telling me I'm out this month. Feeling more calm about it this month but who knows how long that will last, I'm sure over the next few days before AF I'll continue to symptom spot and manage to convince myself I'm still in the game!

Im 11dpo, felt sick yesterday and had lower back pain. Wont test unless i have missed period, i dont want to get myself in that cycle and know ill upset myself😫

Same! Was totally convinced I was out yesterday. Woke up today 12DPO didn't test so I still have a teeny bit of hope. Fingers crossed for you

How's everyone doing? Sorry not read through the read, hoping we've had some BFP in here this month. I'm pretty much out this month. Still no AF from coming off the pill, doctors have pretty much told me to wait a few more months to see if she returns

Feeling a bit shitty this morning but I think it’s PMS. Are you out of hospital now and feeling better? We are taking the baby to the farm today for the first time so I’m hoping that will cheer me up a little

Sorry to hear your not feeling great, hope the farm makes you feel better. I am yeah, came out yesterday, still not feeling 100% but I'm a lot better than I was thank you
