So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I would say it’s a good line for 11 DPO

Hi All!
im currently 11DPO and yes symptom spotting, we all can’t help it.
Im shivering, tickly throat and dry heaving after lunch today.
my boobs feel fine, my discharge is wet, and my only other symptoms was a pain in my hip that went into my right thigh.
i burst out crying today but honestly I would be like that just before my period, I’m normally insanely grumpy and emotional.
im due on Monday and I’m gonna wait and see!

You’ve done so well not to test yet. I’d have caved if I were you. I’m only 5-6DPO and I’m dying to test even though I know nothing could have happened this early

I know! I’m trying to remain positive even if I’m out this month. I think I feel like my periods on it’s way hence the mood swings, and I’ve likely caught the flu just

I’ve started with period cramps so think I’m out too. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks everyone. I’m going to test tomorrow morning with FMU and each day until my period is “late”! My husband has taken my oura ring away from me so I don’t overthink my temps and just see what happens! The line is definitely stronger than my chemical so I’m hopeful ❤️

Hi! Can I please join? I haven’t tracked my ovulation days so I have no idea what date I ovulate. I know I’m probably out this month as we dtd the day after my period ended. I’ve been getting loads of cramping these past few days. My Flo app says to test this Sunday as it’ll be 14 days but I couldn’t resist and took a test today which was obviously negative.
Hoping everyone here gets there BFP soon!

10DPO. Stupidly tested again this morning and was negative which is what it is. Again a chance it's maybe too early but probably not. Had the weirdest UTI like cramps last night which pushed me to test. I'd slowly lost hope over these TWW so I'm feeling okay about it (though did have a dream about a BFP last night 🙄)

Morning! Yesterday 11dpo (1.30pm after 3/4 hour hold) is top and then bottom is this mornings FMU… not much progression so not sure what to think yet!

HCG doubles every 48 hours, try again tomorrow

I know apps aren’t entirely accurate but my ovulation date kept moving around and now I think we missed our chance. We dtd last on Sunday and it says my ovulation date was Wednesday so probably Wednesday/thursday.
I feel like I’m out this month. Feel really disheartened. :(

I know you are hesitant about it due to your past loss, but just wanted to say congratulations on your BFP 🩷 really hope this one sticks for you.

Why did the dates change? What data were you putting in? Do you track CM, too? I find that's actually my most prominent clue, although I don't do temping.

I had cramping around the time it first thought I’d ovulate but I must have failed to, as I started getting CM and then another LH surge so the date shifted but dtd this week didn’t work out for us. Wed based it around the original time, and dtd sat/sun as that was the start of the cm.
if we don’t get pregnant this cycle I’ll do basal and LH daily.
so I think I would have ovulated 3/4 days post ovulation which reduces our chances. We didn’t dtd Wednesday as I had a false positive so didn’t think I needed to 😂

Thank you! I really want to try be positive but I’m so anxious! The line is definitely darker than my chemical as I remember feeling really confused if it was positive or not and almost gaslit! With my DD I did my first test at 18dpo too as I was in denial after trying for so long so I don’t have that to compare to as that was obviously a very strong line! 😂

Aw it can be so hard to be sure about what's going on as even with the best attempts you can't be sure about ovulation unless you temp. I don't temp as I fnd it stressful and I wake up different times due to work and sleeping in at the weekend. So I rely on my app dates in combination with CM. Some months I have done LH testing too which seems to line up with my app dates but my surge is so short I sometimes miss it and that stresses me out too so I've not been doing LH strips this cycle. We have been DTD every other day from day 8 which should cover everything hopefully.

It's definitely a good line this time, are you certain about your dates too? Hope it continues going darker, I have everything 🤞 it will. Hope you can let yourself be excited about it soon.

I think so. I had my peak LH on the 8th August, and my temp increased quite a bit from my overnight reading on the 10th so that would put me at 12dpo today! I daren’t fill out the maternity referral form until Monday!!

Seems a good line for those dates! But I get why having a past loss would make you tentative about celebrating.
I haven't tested early very much so I may have had an early loss that I didn't know about. I'm on cycle 11/12 now so pretty much the year mark and I haven't had a BFP yet. Kind of losing hope tbh, but I am going for further testing in October if nothing has happened by then.

Oh I’m sorry you’re nearly at the year mark, it’s a hard journey isn’t it! I had this with my DD and one month it just happened but all the months before it was always nothing (and I tested early most months)! Just know it will eventually happen! We actually fell pregnant with my DD the month before we decided to go for tests and I’m sure it was the accepting someone else needs to control it which helped!

It is really hard tbh. Especially just before and during the first few days of AF as your hormones crashing just compounds the disappointment. But stories like you with your DD do give me hope. And you're right, I have found that having the tests booked in has helped me release control a bit mentally so it has helped a little for my peace of mind at least.
No matter who or where you are with TTC, it's always hard because it's such an important thing and always comes with anxiety one way or another.

It’s not good news unfortunately, hcg has fallen to 68 so MCC is either taking a really long time to clear or it’s a new chemical. I’ll phone the EPU on Monday to get it logged. Feeling pretty deflated but now I know I’m waiting for AF to arrive and can track the next cycle more easily.
