TTC August 2026

So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I honestly have no idea anymore.
original flo said 10dpo, premom said I’d be 0dpo now it’s saying 9dpo. 🙈
im gonna guess 9/10 dpo.

@Vimto1991 Still pretty early then! Can you leave it a couple of days and try again?

I can see it in the third one but not sure about the others. Test again in a day or two and hopefully it’ll be positive. My fingers are crossed for you

I’m 4 potentially 5dpo and I’ve just had the tiniest bit of red spotting. It was like a streak on the toilet paper. I’ve had cramps in my hip on and off since yesterday evening. I’m hoping AF isn’t early. I can cope with starting just not so early in my luteal phase

Oooooo this happened to me with my first pregnancy spotted on and off until 9dpo and got a postive at 11/12dpo I remember being sooo confused, sending baby dust your way x

BFN for me today :( I saw another thread on here about false positive on one steps. I just don’t know why I’ve had so many symptoms especially yesterday when it felt like I had such a tightening in my womb I couldn’t sit down. :(

I had a false positive with one step and superdrug. Still no AF though all other test are negative

So strange isn’t it, I’ve got my fingers crossed for us that we aren’t out yet

I had implantation bleeding with my first that lasted 4 days so I just assumed it was a very very light period. Thinking maybe this bleeding was a cyst or something that burst. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but it’s so difficult

This is one of the reasons I don't like to test early @Vimto1991 @inkgirl .it's so frustrating when you are sure you're having symptoms as well. I've been TTC so long now that if I had a false positive my heart would be so broken. So I will wait until the line should be good..but I see your period is also late @inkgirl have you changed supplements at all? I know that made me very late for a couple of cycles. Or are you still waiting for your cycles to settle? I know you were having some trouble with that. Hope it's getting back to normal for you.

Still waiting for them to return. Doctors have told me it can take awhile so just a case of waiting now

Sorry to hear that must be so frustrating when you want to TTC but I have also heard it can take a while. Hopefully not much longer for you to wait for AF or even better a BFP.
If it carries on though maybe look into blood tests if you haven't already as I know some things like thyroid disorders can affect cycles..

9dpo today and took a sneaky test this morning just out of curiousity. It was negative but also first time I've ever tested this early so wasn't expecting anything! Used some random eBay tests too not sure on brand. Got some easy@home ones I might try tomorrow

Very very scared right now. I swore I wouldn’t ever test early again after my chemical but I was getting the worst metallic taste in my mouth. So I did a test on wee I’ve held for like 4 hours and I’m 11dpo. The line appeared after 30 seconds!!

im absolutely bricking that I might have a chemical again as my temp had dropped from 0.4 2 days ago to +0.2 yesterday to +0.1 this morning.

im hoping someone can reassure me? Is this a strong line for 11dpo?

@lotusbiscoff @misslomi My first hcg result from Tuesday was 80. I’m so nervous for tomorrow’s and hope I get the results before the weekend but don’t think it’s likely.

@Springcloud26 I think when I had it done it was 48 between test/results

Thank you @misslomi, yes that’s been about how long this one has taken. I did miss the 1pm collection on Tuesday which added a delay. Tomorrow’s is 8.30am so hoping it will be in lab same day at least!

Thank you @lotusbiscoff, yes I’m in at 8.30am. I might mention how anxious I am and to see if they can make a note to prioritise it, if it does come back in the afternoon.
