The previous OPs have gotten their BFPs so I have cheekily created this one just hoping that I could get lucky. Hahaha. 😅 Silly, right ?
A bit about me - currently trying to conceive baby No.2 and this is my 4th postpartum cycle.
So I wish everyone good luck and lots of baby dust! 🤞

Sorry to hear your pain can be so bad during your AF. Mine has been very bad times times but it's usually not super severe, just bad enough to be noticeably not a normal level of pain if that makes sense. I definitely experience a dull ache at other times too, so similar to you.
Have you been diagnosed long? Are you still under the care of a gynae if so?

It does sound similar! I was diagnosed about 8-9 years ago now, I had a laparoscopy and the endometriosis was treated, and then went back 2 years later to have it done again. Touch wood, I’ve not needed to go back again yet. I’m just nervous about whether it’s progressed silently and may affect me TTC this time round. But one of those things I won’t know until I try 🤞🏼

Yeah I hate that about gynae conditions, how you just can't tell without having to go all the way in a lot of the time! I really hope for you that it's been kept suppressed and doesn't affect anything. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
I keep torturing myself with worst case scenario even though I'm not even diagnosed 🙄 I know it's silly but it's because I have symptoms combined with no BFP in 9 cycles, and I am a bit of a worrier anyway.

I totally get that, I’m a huge worrier about literally everything and I love to torture myself with worst case scenarios too! I wish I wasn’t so anxious about things but it’s just the way I am unfortunately. I hope you’re able to get some answers soon, I feel like the not knowing is worse because if/when you are diagnosed, at least you know where you stand and can start looking at next steps etc.

Hey, over from last month. Got my period yesterday so onto this month! Trying to conceive number 2!!

Poppybloom55 · 11/05/2026 09:22

Anyone else just patiently waiting for their LH surge?

I had something similar in the first couple of months in my TTC journey too. Did you recently start taking a pre conception multivitamin? I really think a specific brand I took while starting TTC changed my cycle length before I switched to another brand. The box even had a warning on the side about this. It could have just been a coincidence though. It is so disappointing though isn't it, because with delayed AF you immediately hope it might be pregnancy, especially if you're very regular.

I know exactly which multivitamins you’re on about! 🤣 and I do take them but I have done for about 4 months now, so not sure if it’s that. We came back from our honeymoon in Mauritius 2 weeks before we started trying so I’m wondering if all the change just played haywire with my hormones, as a girl who can normally set a clock by her hormones, it wasn’t fun! 😅
just keeping fingers crossed for this month now. Just entered the TWW, terrible for a very impatient person! 🙈

ME! I had a static smiley yesterday (cycle day 16) but all my cheapie strips are low 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve also had two sustained temp rises so who knows? I usually ovulate cycle day 21 but it’s been getting progressively earlier after my twins were born at 22 weeks.

How long did you have a flashing smiley for before the static? I’ve had flashing smiley for 2 days but LH strips are non existent they’re sooo low.

I had a flashing for three days! Last cycle, I had a flashing for 9 days. It’s all over the place. Like you, though, my strips are soooo low but my CM is very watery which is my classic sign - I rarely get the standard EWCM.

Sorry, forgot to add. I’ve only tracked 4 cycles with OPKs - this being the 4th (over the course of around a year as I’ve been pregnant twice but no baby home yet) and my clear blue has always aligned with the strips but for the last two cycles, I’ve had a peak - static smiley - on the clearblue but strips have been low and then around 10 days later, I’ve had blazing positive on strips and another static on my clear blue. I started tracking my BBT last cycle, too out of curiosity. I’m tempted to stick with the cheapie sticks and BBT as the clear blue is making me confused and anxiety goes up!!

HappyBlueDonkey · 11/05/2026 15:43

Hope you get your surges @Poppybloom55 and @cmg91
Pretty sure I’m 3/4 DPO but it was CD22 before I got a peak.

It could well be your travel, especially if the journey was long. I believe it's not so much the journey itself but the effect on your sleep/waking hours/energy levels. My cycle is usually very regular too so I've been caught out by weirdly long ones etc. wishing you more luck on your current cycle!

My AF arrived so I'm back to day 1 I knew it was coming though as last month was a bit of a write off as I was unwell and couldn't try as hard, had twinges the past few days too. I know it's easier said than done but I'm going to try not to stress myself out too much this month. I really need a break from the mental side of it all.

yeah, 12.5 hour on a plane is not for the faint-hearted! my first long-haul flight ever! wouldn't surprise me if it sent everything haywire!
Good luck with the stress reduction! I'm sending all the calming vibes I can! If it helps, when I'm feeling stressy I knit, crochet or cross stitch! (I'm already a granny and not even a mum yet! 😅)
wishing you all the best for this month

@Sunglade I’m new to TTC at 39 and was 10 days late taking a certain brand of prenatals on my second cycle properly trying when I am usually very regular, it really got my hopes up! I got a blood test after 2 negative tests to definitely make sure and period arrived soon after that. Swapped to more simple prenatals since, and last cycle was regular again. I was quite stressed and not sleeping well, so it could also have been that. Trying the advanced digital ovulation tests for the first time this cycle, I’m on CD7 and will start them CD9.

This is my first month properly TTC no.2. and I used OPKs. We’ve just taken the approach of last time and DTD every day though as it worked first time. I am breastfeeding this time and only had one period but hopefully it doesn’t have too much of effect

So I am expecting AF to arrive this weekend. I am feeling a bit excited and hopeful. I'd be fine either way. I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful May. : )

BoyMamma33 · 12/05/2026 21:35

Hi everyone, just jumping on here, not something I expected to do again as I have three lovely boys already and I thought our journey was over. However we had a passionate night on 2nd May and I believe I was ovulating. Period due around 16th. I tested today and it was negative but I usually spot for 3-5 days before my full period starts, no spotting (yet). I guess I’m around 10dpo so could have tested too early. I’m happy either way, just hoping I know before this weekend as I’m due to go on a girls holiday. I’m going to test again Thurs or Fri!

when are you guys due to test?

Hi @BoyMamma33

Have you been having any symptoms? When did you test positive and start feeling symptoms with your previous pregnancies?

DancingThroughLife02 · 13/05/2026 12:24

On CD8 now - periods come to an end and in that wait up to ovulation. I ovulate quite late around CD 18-22 and I know everyone says there’s not much you can do in this period but has anyone got any tips for what to do until then and after ovulation for best chances?

I am also waiting for ovulation. Cycle day 19 and my LH cheapie tests have started going a bit darker (I usually ovulate CD 21).

We are DTD every other day (although skipped yesterday as I fell asleep on the sofa as I was so tired). I don’t drink and have a very healthy diet. I also meditate and try and not over obsess (but that’s easier said than done at times when all I want is to bring a baby home after losing 3 babies).

I think someone else further up did say that they’re treating the TWW as almost their period phase and that helped but I think a part of us always does think “what if”.

Ive had what I thought was a chemical before which I know isn’t a miscarriage at a later stage but I know with that the uncertainty continues way beyond a BFP too, lots of 💐and positive vibes for this cycle!

Hi @BoyMamma33

Have you been having any symptoms? When did you test positive and start feeling symptoms with your previous pregnancies?

Hi :) how’s your journey going, where abouts in your cycle are you now?

I’ve had unusually sore nips since around 5po. No other symptoms though, except I usually spot for 3-5 days before my period and that hasn’t started, which it usually would have by now. I tested again today, I’m addicted lol! It was negative. I’ve ordered some cheap tests so I can test every day for the next few days.

I got my bfp around 11/12dpo with my others, so if I haven’t got one in the next 2 days I will assume AF is coming.

LucyCL · 14/05/2026 08:02

@DancingThroughLife02 Thank you! 10 dpo was when I got my BFPs. I admit that it is really hard not to test tomorrow (10 dpo). 😅 But this cycle I am doing something different - I am going to take the opportunity to practise self control and being at peace with myself. I will wait until AF arrives unless CBT tells a different story then I will test this Sunday.

@cmg91 I am sorry for your losses and I really hope your dream will come true soon.

@BoyMamma33 I also bought a box of cheap easy at home pregnancy tests at the end of last cycle because I wasted 3 first response tests for the first previous 3 cycles.

I have been having vivid dreams, waking up a lot and wanting to pee during the night since 6/7 dpo. I usually sleep better when AF arrives. I welcome either the beginning of a new cycle or a BFP which also means terrible sleep (oh well). 😆
