Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

Yeah it is expensive! We originally booked for 3 months worth but I fell pregnant first month so we cancelled the rest! I think I’d just try a month again and see!

Oh thanks both for your comments. I’ll give it a go for a couple of months and see what happens!

@Glittertint also my first month with OPKs but I only got a rise yesterday on CD14 and still waiting for peak. 27 day cycles

Hi everyone, I hope you don’t mind me joining this thread. Currently trying for baby no.4 and I’m 8dpo today. I’m probably testing way too early and I know I am as this isn’t my first rodeo but I just can’t help myself 😂 can you see anything in this test 😂 I’m having line eyes and though I think there is nothing there at times I can see something 🫣

I personally haven’t tested yet because I only had what I believe to be implantation spotting yesterday so trying to just hold out and be patient😂

oh really, I genuinely think I’m going mad 😂 but again, I slept twice on the sofa yesterday and that’s not like me, I’ve 3 kids and they’re mad lol but as soon as dh took them out I was fast asleep.

oh that’s a great sign, I had spotting with my first and thought it was just an early period but was so delighted when I realised it was dd1 🥰

@overwork I am starting fertility acupunctuere this cycle as well :) I found it really helpful to regulate my cycles post-MMC so hoping it gives us some help with TTC as well!

Aw yeah see I’ve had some light cramping yesterday and today my boobs feel quite sore! I’ve ordered some early detection tests that are arriving today so I’ll do one tomorrow and see🤞
it is hard lol but I just hate seeing BFN so telling myself it’ll be worth the waiting…hopefully😂

what’s the ages of your children? I’ve got a nearly 6 year old son and a nearly 4 year old daughter🥰

Aw that’s very positive, I definitely had cramping too so I’m hopeful that I may get a good line tomorrow or any line at all 😂 it’s so hard not to obsess over testing!

aw they are lovely ages. I have a 5, 3 and 16 month old 🤭 I love being a mum and I’ve always wanted a 4th so all being well for baby no.4 that will be me done!! lol

Hey everyone, for those who’ve had a MC, what’s the longest you’ve bled for first period after? I’m on day 7 now! But admittedly the last few days have been light/pinky, even spotting. But it’s not ended yet and still using a pantry liner. Hopefully finished by tomorrow.
my periods before my MC were only around 3 days, lol. I know everything can be different as the body recovers. Also, when did you ovulate? I’m hoping to ovulate in about a week! But not sure 😂

My period was as usual - one evening of spotting, than five days of period. Then I had 4/5 days of spotting but it was very light, once or twice in a day overall. I ovulated on CD 12 after that as I did in my last few cycles before I got pregnant!
Also I'm due my period tomorrow, so I should be starting to spot now but nothing yet lol
I hate these new things after the MC😂

Ahh, so you basically had some type of spotting almost up until ovulation? It’s so weird, I’ve never had a period this long in my life 😂 yes, definitely thanks to the miscarriage.
Did you take any more pregnancy tests by the way? (Just to be 100%!)… before expected period tomorrow.

Ah yes, basically I spotted right until I had some ewcm!

So I caved even though I only had the implantation spotting on Saturday, but do I have line eyes or is that a line?🥲😵‍💫 SO difficult to get a photo of it but in person it’s a lot clearer and does have a blue tint. Just like the faintest line in history lol
am I just going insane?

No, I see something! When did you test positive with your other pregnancies? You mentioned you had implantation spotting with both?
I'd say this is pretty promising!

Good morning everyone. I was wondering if I could join. I’m 1dpo today, ovulated yesterday. Weirdly ovulated 6 days earlier than normal this cycle. I usually have 34/35 day cycles and ovulate on day 21 but this time ovulated on day 15 confirmed by OPK and bbt and CM. It sort of feels like destiny because my partner is actually going away for work next week and we would’ve missed ovulation. I’ve started vitamin D and iron this month so wondering if that’s had an effect.

We’ve been trying loosely for 14 months but have only been using LH tests and BBT for three months. Fingers crossed. We are 30 and 29.

I see something definitely! Considering you only had some spotting on Saturday, could well be a vvvfl? Hopefully only gets darker from here. Good luck for further testing!

Period I think is finally over as of today. First day no need to use any sanitary items 😂 Might start LH testing from middle of the week lol.
You’ve done well not to test again and hang on to see if period arrives!

Fingers crossed! I think it will, I'm already having hot flashes 😂 and saw some very very light pink tinge to cm in the morning
I just hope it'll be a normal period as I read DC can cause adhesions unfortunately!

With my others it was exactly the day of my missed period I didn’t test at all until then🤣 and even on that day it was faint it took a few weeks to be really dark.
but I had the spotting with both of the others too! And I’ll be honest, my boobs are on 🔥 😂 like they hurt so bad which is not a symptom I ever get before AF. I definitely feel pregnant I just need to be patient and wait for the line!

I’ve had 6-7 days of bleeding then a couple of days of very light spotting after both MCs. Just a heads up but for me Ov is always a few days later than i expect in the first cycle after my losses X

Thanks for sharing! I’ll test LH to monitor and I’m also tracking BBT so hopefully will be clear when I do ovulate. I’m guessing it probably won’t be for at least another week x
