Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

I see it but looks a bit thin! Did it come up in the given time frame?

Yes, I don't have anything like that on yesterdays one
Of course I have to repeat it tomorrow until I get definite results, but from same batch tests one yesterday doesn't have even slightest shadow / evap..

Fingers crossed! I'm quite wary of these tests as I've seen they can be horrible for evaps! I use internet cheapies for testing first, or frer!

Still trying to hold off from testing (will test next weekend if no sign of AF) but noticed a gnawing/nauseous feeling first thing. It's super brief but I had consistent morning sickness with DD from 6weeks-14weeks so maybe it's a sign? Wish I was tracking BBT as that really helped but I just don't think it'll be reliable given I'm up at least once every night.

When would AF be due? I think symptoms can appear for your second pregnancy! Some of them came earlier for me

How often do I OPK test and when do I start? I’m CD9! My DH and I have decided to dtd every other day as a minimum from CD8 to CD18 but I was going to OPK to just triple check my timing so I don’t want to test multiple times a day as I don’t want it to become stressful! If I just did it every morning would I get a general idea of my timing being right?

Im not an expert @Glittertint but most advice I’ve seen is to test morning and afternoon/ evening. LH normally peaks in the evening so you are mostly likely to catch your peak then I think. Just testing in the morning can lead to you missing the peak if you have a quick rise and fall. And starting around CD9 if you have a typical cycle sounds good.

My app is saying a week today but given this my first proper cycle since coming off my implant I think it's just going for a generic 28 day cycle (which admittedly I was when ttc before).

Just bought an early response and a digital so we'll see how long I can hold out!

I would recommend you to do it in the evening or late afternoon from like 5pm. I'm not an expert but for the last few cycles the mornings have been very low and have had better readings in the afternoon. So I would say if you're going to do it once, do it between 5pm-8pm.

I do think it can be different for everyone, for example I tend to have my peak in the morning, only once I had it in the afternoon!

Thanks! I’ll try morning annd evenings! With my DD my peak was quite slow but it did take us 13 cycles and the month we concieved we didn’t track so now starting to wonder if we just stopped too early too! I’m BBT too so won’t stop dtd until we have a significant rise!

Officially on CD1, literally one night off the progesterone and my body was like OMG THANK GOD WE CAN BLEED! Feeling more upbeat than I was expecting. Re-read 'It Starts with the Egg' this morning to see if there are any tweaks we can make to our supplements and booked acupuncure for tomorrow to see if that helps to regulate my cycles a bit better. Onwards and upwards!

Well I tested today and BFN! I thought I saw a line coming up on one of the tests immediately, but unfortunately it was just the dent where the line should be if it was positive! I didn't think it would happen immediately after an MC but you can read many stories where it happened like that so I was still hoping.. Ah well, onto the next cycle!

Thanks! I'm just gutted because I never have a lower back ache unless I'm pregnant (except for one other time), so I for sure thought this was implantation. Also had a lot of watery cm yesterday (tmi), like a lot, and that I actually never have before a period. But it's possible Tha MC f ed everything up and I'll have new symptoms from now on.. I just don't know how I'll know that I'm pregnant because I feel the same as I did when I was 🤣

I’m only 6DPO and purposefully have a busy weekend planned😂
not going to test until atleast next Friday because I just don’t want the disappointment😭

Good idea! For me AF is due on Monday, so I'll probably start spotting on Sunday! I should have just waited 😂this evap line is worse than a full negative

I’ve just checked and the app says I’m due Wednesday which I think has changed! But probably because my ovulation day changed.
oo I’ll test Sunday then😂
just hate the anticipation and then the deflation when it’s negative😫

@Anya23 ahh sorry! The same thing happened with me with the line when I tested after my last non ovulation cycle (lol). A line was appearing within the frame but disappeared soon after. Did you say this was your first cycle after D&C or had you already had a period in December right?

I’ve learned that symptoms are SOO unreliable. The cycle before I did conceive last September, I had such an abundance of EW/watery clear CM before AF and I’d never had before. Now I try to go by BBT and then eventually a test. I’m good at temping quick after my longest sleep when I wake during the night.
I just know that I can’t rely on my symptoms 😂

Morning ladies, 9dpo here, theres no breakthrough yet, tests looks the same so it is probably evap, I woke up with night sweats, does it mean af is close?

What time do you usually temp? I'm waking around 4am with DD and wondering whether I could do it then (usually in bed by 10pm).

Yeah I hate this! So really there is no way to tell if you're pregnant, except to do a test, lol. I can't temp because dd is waking up so many times throughout the night lately that it wouldn't be reliable

So annoying isn’t it that all symptoms can be same as AF 🙈 Weirdly though for all the symptom spotting I do, the cycles I’ve conceived have been ones I was completely convinced I hadn’t lol X
