Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

@nylaaaah sorry to hear! TTC is so hard! I always say I don’t know how people get pregnant accidentally when it can be so hard when you are really trying for it!

Hi ladies I thought I'd join, 3dpo for me. Testing 19th January, I'm usually impatient and test too early😅tww is a torture.

I’m now 9DPO and determined not to test again until 12DPO on Tuesday, but now I feel like I’m symptom spotting. I have pee’d 4 times since I woke up this morning!! This is madness. Googled and apparently an early symptom. This is very trying, my heart goes out to those of you who have been doing this for months on end. What a rollercoaster.

And I’ll probably end up not pregnant and this will have all be psychosomatic!

Omg thankyou to those who told me to keep tracking ovulation! Got my first very clear positive result just now! How long is ovulation so we last dtd Thursday morning at like 1am, but my husband is coming home tonight from working away! Is that too late?
just feel so relieved to finally have a positive peak ovulation result, FLo got it wrong by 4 days!

also absolutely amazing all the positive results, big congratulations to everyone🫶

Great news! Ovulation is supposed to be within 24 hours after the peak, so by tomorrow? I usually feel the cramps half a day later. Thursday does cover it but dtd today if you can and definitely tomorrow 🤣

oh that’s a relief to know! I wasn’t feeling very hopeful at all I’ll be honest because we dtd but the tests were negative, now I’ve had that positive it’s like a whole different energy it’s crazy😂🥹

AF arrived early yesterday for me (due Sunday according to flo app)
Never mind on to the next cycle. According to app next fertile days are 18th to the 24th of Jan making o day roughly 22nd Jan.
I am not going to be using o strips or temp I am just going to bd everyother day for a week and a half from 17th and see how we get on 🙃
Do I have a cycle buddy out there? Im now cycle day 2. Be nice share and support 🙂🙂🙂

@Orangeroses243 I’m cycle day 7 but I’m due to ovulate around the 22nd so will be in the TWW with you!

@Orangeroses243 @Coco9910 My fertile window is around the same time too! It’s cycle 2 and I know it’s so early into trying but I feel a bit like this is going to take ages for us again. We were 13 cycles with our DD and I know this doesn’t mean it’ll take this long again but can’t help feeling like it will!

Ladies what do we think about this test? It come up straight away I thought these tests were reliable but I can’t help but think this isn’t a real line?

It looks promising! I never tried these, but I think I've read they were reliable, so fingers crossed!

This is it 10 min later so the line is still there! I really really hope this isn’t an indent guys!!!! My partner of course thinks it’s negative I don’t think he’ll ever believe it until we do a digital

@Glittertint fingers crossed it doesn’t take that long for you! With my daughter it took us 4 cycles, which isn’t long at all, but I keep thinking how I know it will take longer now as I’m older etc 😰 So stressful but fingers crossed for us all!

Yeah I’m thinking the same!! It’s hard isn’t it! I’m by no where near overweight but I also have in my mind how I’m not as fit and healthy as I was pre my DD so feel like that’s against me!! I keep thinking how I need to do better which is probably silly!

I had a mini breakdown this evening after my partner got off the phone to his sister/niece. She's a toddler and was being all cute and everything. His sister is also currently pregnant and was talking to the toddler about her having a big brother soon etc.It just felt like a punch to the gut. It's really difficult being happy for other people when you just want at least one child so badly, and it feels like it may never happen due to age and pcos. This might sound selfish, but I can't help how raw it feels. :(

Cycle 2 for me aswell ttc baby no 2! I came off contraception in October my AF didnt return until Dec! So I was hoping i caught this first month trying but in all fairness didn't get a great chance as was with family over xmas so on bd once!!! Roll on this next cycle!
Are you guys doing bbt or o strips?

@Glittertint I keep thinking the same!! I think it’s a bit of a post Christmas slump too, where I’ve eaten a lot of rubbish recently and just feel a bit of a frump! Im gonna get back on eating better and do a bit of exercise. Hard trying to slot it in with a toddler 😂

@Orangeroses243 I’m just doing ovulation strip tests..I’m not clued up on temping and I’m also woken up most nights so don’t think it would be very accurate! Yes so glad to have others for the TWW. Ovulation still feels like a while away 😂

I really don't get on well with ovulation strips, but at the same time I usually wake up once or twice in the night for the toilet, so probably won't get the most accurate bbt readings. Has anyone got thoughts/suggestions on digital ovulation tests? Are they worth it?

@Jhm88 I also wake up during the night often a couple of times, I’ve gotten back into tracking BBT and still finding it’s quite accurate nonetheless. I had a MC last cycle, but when I did conceive I was tracking BBT and really helped to confirm ovulation. A few very bad nights I did skip it but I did see the temp rise after ovulation consistently. As for digital tests I did use the clearblue advanced ones and found they were accurate! They’re so expensive though, that’s the only thing. I’ll still probably buy more this cycle though 😂 I prefer a digital reading to a line interpretation, lol. I hear they’re not as accurate for PCOS though, did you say you have? x

@Coco9910 @Orangeroses243 Yes I’m trying to eat better and exercise more but also toddlers drain energy!!

i am just doing bbt and watching my CM! I might do LH strips if we get to cycle 4 to check timing but I felt it was more stressful than not with my DD! This cycle I’m going to try not watch bbt too much once I’ve got my rise and try forget about where I am!!

I feel the absolute same. My little one has just turned 1 and I thought i would have shifted back to my pregnancy baby size. I definitely havent! To be fair I eat very well and I used to Jog at least 4 times a week a few miles too and I havent done so from when I was pregnant so obviously thats why as well as Christmas and treats ect. Definitely going to cut the sugar snacks now. We always cook fresh so I assume by voluptuous body is kind of healthy 🤣🙃
Anyway just sticking to checking cm and going to go from there.

Honestly o day does seeeeeemm Ages away doesnt it!
I dont want to put pressure on but my daughter was December ans we would prefer ages as close together now so hoping to fall quick. I know what will be will be and health is what matters so we will have to see 💓💓💓

Also trying to think and hope we get tome to bs enough around o time as my little one doesnt nap much so its harder than when we used to get all the time I the World its seemed to bd 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorry to spam the chat guys but would anyone be able to give me their opinion on these tests? The bottom ones are today’s I didn’t believe the line I got yesterday but it’s happened again today
