Congrats @Anonna123

TMI alert!!
Update from me. I think I’m 11/12 dpo, now bleeding thick brown gel/tar when I wipe & between yesterday at 4pm and this morning it wasn’t enough to fill a pad. My headache is still here, I’m a bit crampy & have a lovely spot on the tip of my nose - what the hell? I never get them there.

So…. This is not a usual cycle, it’s got all the symptoms. I’m not going to test unless this light bleeding stops.

Given my age & the fact this is unusual I feel like I’m pregnant or was almost about to be and it’s not happened. Who knows….. praying hard.

Anyway, I’ll update later today but feeling really sad & wish this headache would shift (I never get them either).

Utardelis · 07/01/2026 09:05

@Anya23 thanks so much xx
it is so hard to not let your mind run away

Sorry to hear that! 🤞The brown spotting stops!

@Utardelis congratulations! Are these the easy@home tests?
Looks like a clear line at 12dpo!
When was your first positive test out of curiosity?

Utardelis · 07/01/2026 09:20

@Orangeroses243 I got a glimmer of something at 9dpo
they are amazon cheapies which I think are the same as easy@home
I’ve attached a pic of all my tests together - 9dpo isnt really visible now 😆

@Utardelis this is a great line for so early!

You are tempting me to test now, but I am only 7DPO and feel absolutely nothing haha! The waiting game continues.

RoamingToaster · 07/01/2026 09:24

Congratulations @Anonna123 @Utardelis !

Orangeroses243 · 07/01/2026 09:24

Good progression lines here @Utardelis congratulations again and thank you for sharing your tests!
Yes these are the same as what I have currently I am 9dpo and just had a negative. I know it's still early but you know what its like 😅😅😅 xx

mp2024 · 07/01/2026 09:26

Hi everyone! Joining as very very new to TTC (baby #2). I’m new to all the acronyms and everything that comes along with this journey.

1dpo and only managed to DTD once in the fertile days. Only used Flo app so far, not the strips as didn’t want to get too stressed out.
Super annoyed as we also used lube and I didn’t even think about how it may affect sperm 😭 so very little hope for this month but journey starts here!

So happy for all those with positives 🥰

My one question is when do most people do their tests?? Seen a few 9dpo… but I thought its best to wait 2w? Slightly confused!

RoamingToaster · 07/01/2026 09:27

Anya23 · 06/01/2026 17:14

Congratulations@RoamingToaster! How many dpo are you?
Sorry to hear that @EmeraldPie. Hopefully AF will arrive soon and you can start ttc again!

It's at a minimum 18 dpo although could be a few days further on. I messed up my data by not recording my second last AF so it threw off my apps. I expected a dark line if i was pregnant as my cycles are never more than 28 days and it'd been a few days after.

RoamingToaster · 07/01/2026 09:32

@mp2024 It's recommended to wait the 2 weeks but I think people just get impatient 😂. You also get the early detection tests which allows you to do it earlier and you can pick up faint lines on normal tests earlier than 2 weeks. There is the risk that you might detect a chemical pregnancy that ends quickly that you might not have noticed.

Anonna123 · 07/01/2026 09:41

Utardelis · 07/01/2026 08:48

@Anonna123 congratulations!

this is my line this morning from 12dpo on the fence if its looking dark enough 😬

Definitely dark enough. My line with baby 2 was almost invisible at 14dpo and yet here he is!

ErickBroch · 07/01/2026 09:41

Hiya. Been following for a while but then leave when I get a BFN. I am TTC our first and just had my first positives. AF due on Friday, so 2 day early. I didn’t really have any symptoms it was actually that I didn’t have my usual period symptoms of crying and being in a terrible mood the last couple of days.

Only mild thing I noticed was I was feeling a bit sick whenever eating - I wouldn’t be able to finish food that I always would have. But then felt fine after.

tested early because we go away this weekend and I didn’t want to wait for AF to arrive and be upset, wanted to take the power out of it. DH in total shock but both excited! Been TTC since October.

@BellaStar2020 I got a positive on an early detection digital yesterday and have had progression from 9dpo 🙏 but just worrying its not enough, my first positive since miscarriage

@Utardelis Congratulations! I totally understand the worry with lines not being dark enough. I had this anxiety on my MC, I first tested at 12 DPO and it was very light but noticeable. But over the next few days they didn't darken very much, always fainter than the control line. It was only around like 18DPO or something that it finally became dark. Then the digital one went from 1-2, to 2-3 weeks.
I remember I got a private bloods done at 17DPO and my hCG was around 238, I was concerned it was a little low. I'll never know I guess - that pregnancy was a blighted ovum so not sure if something was wrong from the very start.

When did you say your MC was again?

Wishing you all the best with this one, so exciting, and let us know how it goes! xx

Coco9910 · 07/01/2026 10:20

Congrats on all the BFPs 🥰 So exciting!

nylaaaah · 07/01/2026 10:22

Good morning ladies,

Ive been lurking for a while… this is my second month TTC. I have an almost ten year old and a 5 year old. Both boys… youngest has ASD so it’s been a rough through years navigating the system to get him the support he needs.
anyway I married in 2022 and I’ve been waiting for hubby to be ready for a baby. Last month I followed all the “rules” and I was really sad it didn’t happen. I must have taken about 10 tests. The TWW is truly awful.
Anyway… this cycle was tracking temps and Apple health says I ovulated on 29th but Flo says 30th. So I’m around 7/8 dpo. Told my self I wouldn’t test this month but ofc I’ve already done one yesterday and the day before. Feel like I’m constantly symptom spotting which I bloody hate… I defo did the do plenty of times around fertile window… managed 8 times lol.

My cycle is usually 26 days and I’m on day 22 so based on my test yesterday feel like it may not be a success this month as I did do the early tests.

congrats to those who have tested positive and sending all my prayers to those who are still waiting to test and those who are waiting to ovulate this month xxx

Utardelis · 07/01/2026 10:53

@ErickBroch Congratulations!!

@EmeraldPie thank you, if things progress the plan is to bury my head in the sand until I can get a scan at about 7 weeks 😆 my miscarriage was in September xx

Coco9910 · 07/01/2026 12:13

@nylaaaah its not over until AF arrives so keep the faith! Sending baby dust!

tiutinkerbell · 07/01/2026 12:41

@nylaaaah - I'm right there with you, 7DPO! It's really early to have positive tests though so you never know.

Glittertint · 07/01/2026 13:11

I’ve caved and bought an Oura ring for better tracking 🫣 CD1 so fingers crossed for this cycle! Pretty happy my LP has improved in terms of now being 13/14 days and minimal spotting!!

Ive decided to try focus on me a bit more this cycle and just do stuff that makes me feel good!

tiutinkerbell · 07/01/2026 13:14

@Glittertint love this energy! Also yey for LP health! As a 8/9 day girl, this is goals! I am also doing stuff that makes me feel good if this month is unsuccessful. I've beauty booked some things I couldn't do it was pregnant in late Jan as a treat and thinking of more stuff I can do to make myself feel the best I can in this mindbending time.

Thank you!! I actually used to suffer with spotting from 9dpo before I had my DD, and I found acupuncture really helped!

Yeah I’m going to just keep busy and try stay happy! I keep remembering how much I lost myself post partum so I should use this time prior to find myself again before we go back!!

nylaaaah · 07/01/2026 13:33

I can’t seem to reply to a post, new to the app. If someone can tell me how to reply to a reply lol

im not ignoring you all xx

Did it stop the spotting completely? I always had one day of spotting but while still breastfeeding it used be 3-4 days which is crazy
It seems to have gone back down to one day after stopping bfing and I had that when I conceived my second pregnancy! My period after my MMC was also the same so hopefully I'm back to 'normal'
