Hi guys! Opening a thread for those ttc in the new year! I'll be starting again after an MMC in November, fingers crossed that this'll be a lucky year for all!

@EmeraldPie so sorry for the stress it is so horrible when it’s all out of your control

from what I have read anovulation (not ovulating) or ovulating late after a miscarriage is pretty common in the first month. If you are only tracking lh unfortunately this doesn’t prove ovulation happened - its possible your body geared up to release an egg but never actually did which may be delaying things

have you carried on lh testing since your peak?

@Utardelis I’ve read exactly that too. I am thinking that is what most likely happened as if I had ovulated the lining would start shedding by now. LP can’t be this long. Yes I carried on and since a couple of days after that peak, LH tests have all been negative, both on digital and I even bought some cheap strips too and almost no line.
just wondering now if I will have a bleed, or at some point my body will try to ovulate again, not sure which one will be first?

AF arrived for me this afternoon, so those tests the other day were obviously just horrific indent/evap lines!

@EmeraldPie sounds like it. I know the wait feels like forever and you just want to get back to trying. My cycle after my MMC was about 6.5weeks but I did pass naturally

I passed naturally too. So you bled after 6.5 weeks? That’s reassuring, maybe it’ll take a couple more weeks for me then. Did you test for any ovulation before that?

@EmeraldPie yes 6.5 weeks after the day I passed the main tissue xx

I wasn’t doing tests daily but I had really bad ovulation pain the week or so before and did one and it was high so I knew it was around then (my bleeding was prolonged so we didn’t want to try that month)

I used to get a bit of ovulation pain but every cycle since my ovulation pain has been a lot more noticeable

evening all! Sorry if this is TMI. I have just been to the toilet and when I wiped I had a yellow tinted wet stretchy type discharge. I don’t recall ever seeing this before. Anyone else noticed anything like this?

@BellaStar2020I had some stretchy cm a few days before AF would have been with my last pregnancy. Although it wasn't yellow, it was white ish
Not sure what else it can be

Thanks @Anya23 it was strange because (and this description is disgusting) but it was like yellowish snot. Didn’t smell or anything like that?!

I actually have a gynaecology appointment in the morning as it was suspected a while ago I may have endometriosis, so I can check with them I suppose

@BellaStar2020Oh sure, let us know! I didn't have that much of a cm last time I just noticed it after sex lol

@BellaStar2020 I get this too! I assumed it’s due to estrogen having a little rise again? But if you find out let me know!!

also read the colour is due to it oxidising in the air!

Oh that's interesting, so it could be more common than I thought. I never had this before this pregnancy or at least never noticed it! My cm is always dry after ovulation

AF due in 2 days, think this one might stick around 😊

I’m still nowhere near that stage, I’m apparently ovulating today but the test is negative(nowhere near as dark as the control line). I’m working so I can’t really test it again until tonight. Is it just that I’m missing the peak? We will dtd regardless just incase😂

@Utardelis thanks that’s nice to know it can take a bit longer! When you likely ovulated and got the high test, did you then get the period about 2 weeks later?
just trying to work out if I’ll bleed first or ovulate.
I’ll start testing LH again if I notice my CM starts to change… it’s always EWCM whilst I’m ovulating so I usually know x

@EmeraldPie yes my luteal is normally 11-12 days so it was about that xx

@EmeraldPieI didn't get ewcm before my first period after my cm! Even with this ovulation I didn't have much, I only noticed it after sex lol (sorry tmi). I read it can also take a while to get back fully!
@Anonna123Congrats, it's so nice to see bfps already!
@Jill4578I don't think you'll miss the peak in such a short time! Even if you do, you should still have dark test lines by the evening, so I wouldn't worry

This Defo looks positive to me! Check again tomorrow or try a digital?

my positive with my first was light until about 14DPO then it got very strong

@BellaStar2020 I got a positive on an early detection digital yesterday and have had progression from 9dpo 🙏 but just worrying its not enough, my first positive since miscarriage

I think it is dark enough, tentative congrats! I didn't have much darker lines until around 17-18 dpo 🤞
