TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

@PandaLife I've not managed to the last few days - little one has another ear infection, so we did the whole out of hours thing over the weekend and today he wasn't well enough for nursery so I stayed at home with him. So in between him screaming I did manage to drink plenty of cups of tea. If he is well enough to go to nursery tomorrow I will go back into work and I usually go to the gym on the way home so that will be nice!

How is your tww going so far?

@SKLM the ear infection sucks. Hopefully he is on the mend and he can go back to nursery soon and you back to work and gym :)

I’m only 3dpo so haven’t really thought much about it. Going through some mentally demanding stuff involving solicitors at the minute, so that often dominates my thoughts. Haven’t had any symptoms yet. I kind of hope it stays that way for as long as possible because if they aren’t there, I have nothing to question. That way I can hopefully delay peeing on sticks too!

Morning. How is everyone doing?

Not quite sure what dpo I am, somewhere between 10-12. Got strong pms symptoms this month but I think I have a bit of a virus or something that is making it worse. I have the usual cramps but on top of that feel generally unwell.

No positive test from me, all negative this morning. Feeling frustrated and I would just like my period to come.

@SKLM sorry to hear you’re full of pms symptoms but nothing else. I feel for you, it must be so confusing and frustrating. If a period were to come, what day would be the estimated start?

I am 5dpo and weirdly don’t have a single symptom. Usually by now my luteal phase symptoms have fully kicked in, but I have nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

@PandaLife thank you, you are always very supportive! Pms is lame. It would be due eta Monday according to flow.

Maybe you ovulated a little later than expected by a couple of days and they're not in full swing yet?

Can anyone see something on this test? I think I have another indent problem, and line eyes of course. Thanks in advance

I can actually see something. At first I was like no .. but then I did. The first one you could say is an indent but the second is a very faint thick 🤔 how does it look in person? @SKLM

@PandaLife thanks for looking at it. I worry I do people's heads in sometimes. I don't even show them to my husband anymore 😅

It is more visible in person but extremely faint. I bought a pack of these tests from Amazon, I have done 1 every day for the last five days and they were absolutely stark white until today. So I have done three today now (of course), all are coming back with a thick shadow.

Of course I want to be really hopeful but I'm frightened of being disappointed. I think I will re test tomorrow x

mom so confused, I’ve been getting lots of ewcm, especially tonight, just now, loads came out (sorry tmi), but my LH strips are still so low like 0.22. My fertile window is due to start on my app in the next day or two but yeah, has anyone else experienced this? X

@Bubs94 what cycle day are you? Some months around my fertile time I get a lot more ewcm than others and for a longer stretch of time. Some months I have a lot less for less time. Have you done another lh test this morning? There will be a delay in the LH rising before it's picked up in urine so it could be that it is starting to increase and your body is producing ewcm but it hasn't been picked up by a test yet?

@Bubs94 when I was testing mine I was exactly the same. I had quite a lot of ewcm for two days with a very low LH level, then on the third day I had my spike. I had zero ewcm that day and haven’t had any since. I went to chatgbt (as I always do) and that said it is very normal for our bodies to produce it before ovulation and not for it to be on ovulation day itself. Thats why they said the best day for conception is 2 days prior to ovulation day :)

This is what I have this morning. I'm going to buy a pink dye test I think. I'm struggling to get to grips with these and I don't trust my eyes anymore.

Sorry what I meant was, a pink dye test that isn't this one. The strips are half the width of the easy at home ones/mom med and I am finding them hard to read

Can you see a line on them in person? The photo is a little grainy so I’m struggling. Sounds like buying some different brands is a good idea. If you can get hold of first response, that would be a good option. I don’t know about you though, I struggle to find them around here. Superdrug apparently sell them but never have them in stock in my local one :/

So my period just arrived, very confused as oddly I feel pregnant. I'm having symptoms I have only ever had twice - once with my son, the other with the chemical in December. It must be in my head, I know how easy it is when you want something. I only got that positive ovulation test 12 days ago, so this is unusual for me. Usually from positive ovulation test to start of period I wait 16 days. What a confusing month, totally missed ovulation by the looks of it and my cycle is quite irregular. Should I go to the doctor? What would they even do I wonder.

Honestly, I couldn’t say what would happen if you went to the gp. I’ve heard and read mixed things, I guess it depends on your doctor. If it’s something that is concerning you, then 100% make an appointment.

@PandaLife yeah.. maybe I'll just give it a few more months. Getting older plus irregular cycles, very confusing. Will keep tracking.

Morning ladies! How’re you all doing in your cycles? My LH seems to be rising this morning. Tested at 0.52 so hoping for peak today but we shall see!

@Bubs94 im around same stage as u, day 13 so just waiting on opks to start darkening, had clear cm yesterday so 🤞🏽
do u usually get a slow surge or a quick spike?

@DmcinT snap! I’m day 14 today.
Urm, usually it all happens within one day; I’ll notice it getting darker throughout the day then either hit my peak in the evening on around 9/10pm, the next day it then has dropped. What about you?

I am on 7dpo today. Easy to track because my day 1 was on the 1st :)
I just have a feeling it won’t be this month and I don’t know why, but I don’t feel as bothered. I don’t have that same urge to test all the time. I think other parts of life have taken over slightly and I’m naturally protecting myself from more stress. And also as I mentioned the other day, I’ve not had any luteal symptoms like I’ve gotten every other month so I’m not thinking about it as much, it’s very odd. My skin has been horrendously bad though, but that has been since just before ovulation :/

@PandaLife i feel exactly the same as you. Like I’m testing but not obsessing over it. We’ve sold our home and bought a new one, and work has been so busy so all of that together is keeping me busy and I also just can’t be arsed for the disappointment of finding my peak and making sure we dtd. We’re just going with the flow and doing it when we want. I just have such a lack of energy, the thought of baby dancing every night exhausts me before it’s even happened😂
