WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

@MamaOooh have you managed to hold off testing?

I haven't tested, I overslept this morning and had a mad rush to get into work on time. I did think about doing one tonight but I've drunk loads of water and tea today so probs not worth it at 9/10 dpo.

Tomorrow I'm wfh so 100% testing though!!

Bubs94 · 26/02/2026 19:10

Evening ladies, how’re you doing wherever you are in your cycles x

CauliflowerCheese00 · 26/02/2026 20:50

I’m CD7 - so need to start back on ovulation testing over the weekend really. I’ve enjoyed the week of not thinking about any of it!

SKLM · 26/02/2026 21:17

Cd34 and about 6-7dpo X

How are you doing @Bubs94
@MamaOooh any luck today? :)

Bubs94 · 26/02/2026 21:24

@CauliflowerCheese00 im CD5 today. Not sure really when to start testing. Apparently I’m not due to start my fertile window until 7th March. Maybe I’ll wait a week and start.
All good here @SKLM going to have a much more chilled cycle this one I think. How’re you doing?

SKLM · 26/02/2026 21:37

@Bubs94 i'm alright thanks, have sort of switched off from TTC mode this week having had such an odd cycle. I doubt we'll get pregnant this time. I feel more relaxed actually. I will test at some point but not sure when my period will come now

PandaLife · 27/02/2026 16:30

Hi ladies, glad you’re all okay. I’m doing fine, I’ve been keeping busy and (was) enjoying the nice weather we had. It’s dark and rainy again here! I have been keeping on top of my OPK tests and this is what I just got. DTD two nights ago and last night. Will probably do it again this evening too 🙈

I did post a photo of my strip results but it’s under review 🙄

SKLM · 27/02/2026 16:39

@PandaLife ooh you got your peak by the looks of things, great news. Fingers crossed x

Cd34 and about 6-7dpo X

How are you doing @Bubs94
@MamaOooh any luck today? :)

I didn't test at all this cycle which is unusual for me but something in me just couldn't face seeing a negative. My periods are on average 26 days but 24-29 is the range, so when I woke up this morning on cd28 to no period I was feeling REALLY hopeful. Like, calculating my due date and how pregnant I'll be at certain events hopeful. But AF rocked up an hour or so later this morning so it wasn't to be. Feeling pretty devastated to be onto cycle 7 and our last shot at a 2026 baby.

I think next cycle I will just go back to testing early, seeing my period turned out to be worse than seeing a blank test 😅

Going to book a trip to Disneyland paris for me, DH and DD in the Easter holidays as a fuck it to console myself.

SKLM · 28/02/2026 11:10

@MamaOooh ah bless you I hate how af can lull you into a false sense of security like that!

Disneyland sounds like the perfect distraction.

I think I've been a bit low in mood because with the warmer weather and a bit of sun I am getting out more and thinking about TTC less, which is nice.

According to that second positive LH i'm 7-8dpo today. Managed to have sex once in that week so not hopeful. Got some cramps but nothing to write home about.

How is everyone else doing?

PandaLife · 28/02/2026 18:44

@MamaOooh sorry to hear that :( it’s so disappointing when you get your hopes up ..
Disney is definitely a nice way to keep yourself busy. I did something similar when my last period started too, I booked us a trip to Wales so we can visit zip world :)

@SKLM glad to hear you’ve been getting out and enjoying the weather. I’ve found that it really helps me too, I spent Monday out in the garden trimming stuff back and mowed the lawn which was lovely. I had an allotment for years which really supported me mentally, I gave it up around 6 years ago and I really miss it. Since moving in with my now husband, we do have an area in the garden where his gran grew vegetables when she was alive, we have fruit there but it’s been quite neglected due to other things taking priority, so I hope to spend a lot more time in there this spring/summer and start enjoying being out with plants again.

I am entering in to my tww which to be honest, I’m not looking forward to. I really struggled last cycle. I’m going to try not to take such notice of every single symptom.. I know that’s so much easier said than done. After peeing on sticks so much recently, I’m looking forward to a break lol. We’ll see.

SKLM · 01/03/2026 14:46

How is everyone today?

@PandaLife hope the tww is off to an okay start!

I've started testing and everything is very, very negative. I am thinking I might order a basal thermometer as my ovulation date is proving harder to catch than I thought. Does anyone have any experience in these or can recommend one?

Attached negative test! Not feeling awful about it at all as I have no idea where I am. I've made a nice cake and thinking of ways to optimise next cycle!

Hey ladies, hope you’re all well!

AF is due tomorrow but I’ve had absolutely no signs at all - I usually wipe pale red/pink around 2-3 days before its arrival and there is nothing at all. We dtd Valentine’s Day which going by flo app was the day before ovulation - this is the only way I’ve tracked so far and this is our second cycle trying (we’ve had a house move to our dream home and I’ve started my dream role since I was last on here when the thread was pretty new!) so I’m really not sure what to think as I’ve no AF symptoms at all. I’ve not done any testing or stressed about symptom spotting or anything as my job and all the learning is keeping me super busy and days fly by but I just realised today that I’ve had nothing in the way of AF symptoms and I’m usually as regular as clockwork!

Any thoughts? 🤷🏼‍♀️

PandaLife · 01/03/2026 18:03

@SKLM I’d personally just order a very basic thermometer and don’t worry too much about the type ect. Monitoring your temp sounds like a good idea though, your cycle is very much all over the place at the minute. Do you have any symptoms at the minute, or is it pretty quiet?

No real thoughts @ttcfirsttime26 because each of us have had every symptom, no symptom and cycle confusion. Nothing surprises me any more 😂 Will you test soon? Or will you wait until after af due date?

ttcfirsttime26 · 01/03/2026 18:08

@PandaLife Hey ☺️ well it’s due tomorrow so I’ll give it a couple of days and see if it turns up I think!

ttcfirsttime26 · 01/03/2026 18:09

Oops @PandaLife clicked submit too early lol. Perhaps if it hasn’t arrived by Wednesday I’ll buy a clear blue as I’ll be 2 days late by then xx

SKLM · 01/03/2026 18:15

@ttcfirsttime26 fingers crossed for you - hopefully this is the months for you. By then a test should be clearly positive so you'll know where you are 😊x

SKLM · 01/03/2026 18:21

@PandaLife thanks that is helpful advice I was looking at the actual basal thermometers on Amazon and wondering if it was worth it. We have a thermometer at home that I can use. I've already noticed that in the second half of my cycle my temp is higher, don't know how precise I need to be with these things or how little the variations can be?

I had some cramping yesterday and the day before but now nothing. I am pretty sure I did ovulate the second time as my boobs are bigger and a little tender - they are reliably like this every month.

MamaOooh · 02/03/2026 09:28

@SKLM have you got a smart watch? I've got a galaxy watch and it's not super sensitive but i can see trends and definitely confirm I've ovulated- pic attached. I find it easier than using a Thermometer and having to remember to use it first thing.

@PandaLife hope you manage to keep yourself busy this tww, it's so hard!

@ttcfirsttime26 that sounds promising - fingers crossed for you!

TWW feels like forever
PandaLife · 02/03/2026 11:09

@MamaOooh I use my watch for temp monitoring too but it is hit and miss whether I wear it every night as it bugs me sometimes. I like to see the physical pattern though.

@SKLM I think the most important thing is making sure it shows 2 decimals. If it rounds the numbers up, it might not be overly accurate if you’re looking for small changes. Then take the temp every morning before getting out of bed. Maybe try the one you have at home for patterns and if you feel it isn’t accurate enough, then consider buying a basal temp thermometer?

SKLM · 02/03/2026 11:41

@MamaOooh @PandaLife thanks for the useful input, i'll see if my Garmin watch has this function.

The PMS is real today. Feel quite grotty!

How is everyone else?

@ttcfirsttime26 any sign of AF?

ttcfirsttime26 · 02/03/2026 13:38

@SKLM I'm really not sure! I did see a tiny bit of pink when I wiped earlier but seems more discharge-like if anything (sorry, tmi!)

SKLM · 02/03/2026 13:41

@ttcfirsttime26 I love the way our bodies keep us guessing 😀

PandaLife · 02/03/2026 16:36

@SKLM sorry to hear you feel groggy. Are you doing anything to look after yourself?
