TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Yeah AF is due Monday so there’s potential but I’m not gonna hold my breath, think I’ll wait until at least Sunday to test and then wait to see if AF comes, kind of feels like putting off an inevitable bfn so might as well let myself live in denial 😂 I’ve got stuff happening fri/sat so that’ll be a nice distraction!

@SKLM sorry to hear it was an indent :/ they cause so many issues don’t they! Keep us updated with further tests though..

@Bassbeh17 bless you. Sounds like it’s been a tough one. As much as I love that we can detect pregnancy early, it’s also the worst thing for our mental health while ttc. Have you had anymore spotting over night/this morning?

@PandaLife nope nothing else overnight or this morning and still a bfn (I know I said I’d wait but I’m weak 😂) I reckon I’m out this month I just need to chill out and try next month but maybe not focus doing it around the ovulation date and just go for it across the month a bit more 🤞🏼

Well, pretty sure it’s my period starting, always happens this way and had some more pink/brown after using the loo this morning, I didn’t have spotting with my daughter so I’m pretty sure this is my period. Never mind, however, it does make my cycle shorter as it was due Monday so need to update the app
and see what that does to my ovulation next month and 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

My period arrived late yesterday evening so can step away from obsessive googling for a few days at least 😅

Much lighter, much less cramping than before I was on hormonal contraception - so I think probably I’d not built up enough lining to be successful this month, but positive that I did have a positive ovulation test!

And glad that I’ll now have some more “data” to track with. I’ve just been putting things into the cycle tracker in the Apple health app - will that be good enough or should I look at something else?

@CauliflowerCheese00 do what works for you! I use an android phone and didn't have a tracker on that so I downloaded Flo and I find that quite helpful alongside the OPKs. My cycle is quite irregular since having my son last year, so I don't think the app's predictions and OPKs are always 100% accurate so I give most attention to my CM and keep the other two things in the background ticking over 😊

@PandaLife still no period here so crossing my fingers.. planning to test tomorrow!

erm, I’ll be day 7. Fertile window should open up next week. My iPhone health tracker says my window is from Sunday. Ovulation will be around 28th-30th. My libido has already shot up 🙈🙈 I quite enjoy this period of time though, no worrying about pregnancy tests or symptoms I can just get on with life. I’m currently sat in my car eating a very healthy McDonald’s lol 😂

@PandaLife mmmmm McDonald's I approve! Yeah the first half of the cycle is lovely, you feel horny energetic and optimistic!! I swear most of the issues with the tww are the hormones themselves in the luteal phase.

Yeah I'm not convinced either. It is there though, it looks a bit pink. If I get a better one I'll post it. I feel like it's either a dodgy test, or I ovulated very late, or another chemical x

@SKLM i see a very faint line from the bottom but does it only go up 3 quarters of the way or am I just not seeing the top of it.

The line is a full line. Mumsnet reduces the image quality to 6mb so it makes faint lines a nightmare to see. I was in two minds about uploading the photo 😂

Can I join you ladies... I'm 2dpo and I feel so antsy!! The TWW is hideous 😫 We are on cycle 5 of ttc our second. I think last month the tww wasn't so bad because it was Christmas and we were so busy. This time... urgh. Feel like I've spent the last 2 days opening my premom app and just staring at it for no reason 😳torture!!

Well, had a bit more pink/brown this morning and then once at work this morning but nothing on a pad and now it’s stopped. Please save my sanity ladies. 🫣

@DmcinT my husband and I both have a child from previous relationships, so we are trying for our first. Mine is almost 13 and his is 8.

As for sex preferences, I’d like another girl as I already have her name ready 😂 but I know my husband will want a boy although he hasn’t said either or. He is a 7th or 8th (unsure which) generational farmer and neither of our girls are particularly interested in farming, so he’d like a child who would potentially fall in love with it as much as he does and all the generations before him. That typically falls to the boys. But we’ll see. We never know, another girl may love it. Otherwise it could skip a generation like it did for him and it be one of our grandchildren 😬😬😬😬 eeek that’s a scary thought!! And one I don’t wish to imagine.

I had my coil removed in October and have been trying since then. I naively thought it would happen quite quickly, but after doing research afterwards, it can take a few months just for my body to get back in to a normal state. I have had every symptom under the sun every month since which has been horrible. We’ll see what this month brings :D

@Bassbeh17 ooooooh lady. It could be implantation? A little bleed before your period could be that? It's a possibility, you'll know more in the next few days! 😊

@MamaOooh it’s so hard isn’t it, just feels like the longest 2 weeks, I know ppl say keep busy and take ur mind off it etc but I just find that impossible. Is there anything anyone has found makes it go faster? 😅

@PandaLife aw so lovely to have a baby back in the house and plenty of hands to help. I was nearly 10 when my little brother was born and it was the best and most exciting thing 🥰 will ye find out the sex beforehand or wait it out until birth?

I must go dig out some pregnancy tests for the morning, feeling nervous to test!

@DmcinT im 12dpo AF is due Monday but this is only my second AF since coming off my pill so it could be anytime and also it’s been a bit more on an off, still not what I’d call my full period but mine often start like this x
