TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

@SKLM yeah! ☺️ love my boy and love being a boy mum. He’s desperate for a brother and my husbands family is VERY male heavy so I almost know I’ll most likely have another which I wouldn’t be mad about because I’d love my son to have a brother to have for the rest of their lives but equally I’d love to have a daughter. So I don’t really mind to be honest. Do you have a preference? X

@Bubs94 yes I would love my little boy to have a baby brother. I also love being a boy mum! My husband is one of three boys so hopefully we'll have another

@SKLM theres something amazing about being a boy mum. I just love it. Although my son for the first time ever told me before bedtime that I’m “just so mean” because I told him it was bedtime and he then continued to cry🙄😂

This is so sweet, I'd love to have little boy this time around, my DD has also informed me that she wants TWO little brothers 😮

Need to get put of my own head today, have already spent my morning dog walk ruminating on the fact that we missed DTD on O day because DH got called into work. We got O-1 and -3 but I just keep thinking what if O day would have been the winner and we missed it!!;

Well I def got a BFN this morning 😫 11 dpo so I know I’m not out just yet but def think there would be a faint line at this stage if I was. I was so sure this month too, had so many wee symptoms I haven’t had since we started

@DmcinT it's so confusing isn't it, when to test, all the variables involved in conception and implantation.

My mum had a surgery two days ago and I have been with her since yesterday and now staying at her house to help out, so my access to testing has finally been restricted! I don't know if that faint line has gotten any darker. I have a couple of symptoms which I do remember from being pregnant with my son. So I feel like something is happening, but I am so frightened to test now.

How is everyone else doing? What cycle day is everyone. I'm losing track!

Sorry to hear that - I was exactly the same last month, utterly convinced we had nailed it and then when my period was on the later side I let myself get so hopeful. Just got to keep going I guess.

Just jumping in here, I am ttc my second, conceived my first super quickly so this has been a tough lesson! On my second month ttc at the moment but getting more and more impatient and confused! Have a 5 year old daughter who is desperate for a sibling so I’m praying it happens quickly.

tested bfn but was with 4pm weaker urine as I am confused, had very small amounts of either pink or brown when wiping on and off since thurs eve. AF due Monday, negative test today and just not got a clue if my periods coming or it was implantation late 🤷🏽‍♀️

@MamaOooh i put all my opk info into gpt and it reckons im only 9 dpo (10 max) so maybe im actually just testing way too early lol 🫣🤞🏽🤞🏽 I jus have such a strong feeling, ive had complete exhaustion every evening after work this week, ive pressure and bit crampy all week and have that urgency to pee that I’ve only ever had when pregnant. But who knows, I could also be over thinking all those things 😂😂

@DmcinT I actually love GPT for ttc stuff 😅 if you're only 9/10 dpo that's defo still early days, I've read that the most common day for implantation to happen is 9dpo and then a couple of days for the hcg to rise so don't give up hope just yet.

This is actually the first month that I've been confident of my ovulation date as I've never had any luck testing with OPKs before this month, and also started using my watch to track my temp so I'm pretty sure I know when 11dpo (1st Feb) is and I'm promising myself I won't test until then!

So similar to me, my daughter is 5 in August and keeps telling me she wants to be a big sister!

Booo.. bleeding started today, 4 days later than I expected so I guess I am ovulating later.

I'm personally not going to buy FRER tests anymore. Back to the cheapie strips for me!

@SKLM its like my body is hearing your messages 😅 got my period. Definitely period starting. I’ve noticed that I’ve had this pattern of brown spotting both months like 24/48 hours before period so that’s good to note and I get super constipated a week before and thenAF shows up a bit each time after finally going to the loo…sorry for tmi!! But I am finding it fascinating how I’m super in tune at the moment. I also noticed a few days ago my nausea stopped and boobs weren’t as sore so it’s like my hormones took a nosedive!
well, I’ll also be having a glass of wine tomorrow and starting again next cycle 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@SKLM & @Bassbeh17 sorry to hear your periods have arrived :( you should take the time to enjoy the next couple of weeks without having to think about symptoms and the what ifs. Look after yourselves and definitely enjoy some wine too. I’ll see you both on the next tww 🩷

@Bassbeh17 ah never mind, I hope you are having a nice weekend think you said you had a few distractions in store! In a way I am quite happy about my period finally arriving - I started myo-inositol a few months back as my cycles had crept over 40 days long and I was missing periods. So although I've been disappointed the last couple of months my cycles have actually been back to 31 days now (what they were before my son), and my hormonal signals are much clearer! So I am celebrating this today.

@PandaLife yes see you soon... When is your predicted ovulation date? I am going with my Flo app this month and CM, not the OPK so strictly as I am starting to wonder if I have a longer LH surge (as I had ewcm for about 5 days after my peak). Flo has months of data for me so looks like ovulation will be between 9th-12th. OPK has said earlier the last two months and I don't think it's accurate.

Going to have an extra couple of coffees today as I have been cutting back and will have a glass of wine later 😎

@SKLM Im glad you’re finding the positives, I’m also relieved to have a mental break to be honest!! My cycle came 3’days early so that’s a positive and I’m going to just try continually next month rather than trying more at certain times.

I said I wouldn’t test until Tuesday/ Wednesday but here we are lol so I’d say I’ll deff test in the morning again now lol
