TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Wow ok! So! I went back on mumsnet and found the thread I was on when I got pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago. Something I talked about a lot was how thirsty I was constantly drinking ice water. I’ve drunk so much the last few days. Then I talked about how I was peeing more because of drinking more and I had worse cramps after releasing my wee which is what has been happening to me recently. I feel super relieved to have read it to be honest but also don’t want to get my hopes up! I found out 5 days before my expected period last time 🫣😬

Negative FRER this morning and a bit more egg white CM. CM was thick and creamy up until yesterday so not sure what is going on tbh. If my ovulation was correct then my period should be due around Wednesday. I don't have any cramps at all which I usually get and my breasts are tender and tingly which I don't usually get! This was how it went last month when I got the late positive test (I was 13dpo) which ended in a chemical bleeding at 16dpo so I am not feeling optimistic 😫

@Bassbeh17 when do you think you’ll test?
Thirst was a big symptom of mine when I was first pregnant (early mc) and when I got pregnant with my daughter I knew to test because of the thirst again. Unfortunately I’ve had it a lot since my coil removal too which has been very frustrating. I do wonder if I’ll have symptoms when I do finally get pregnant .. it’ll be Sod’s Law that I get zero when it happens 😂

@SKLM how many days are you now? Sorry, I should have gone through the thread to check before starting my reply. Sucks about the negative. But as we all say, not out of the woods until af visits.

My fertile window starts again from Sunday (according to the app). The last time we had ‘time’ together was during my last fertile window because of how poorly I’ve been .. almost a month 🙈🙈🙈

@PandaLife inmean I checked today and it was negative but then I’m like 7dpo so I don’t know what I was thinking 😂😂 I will likely check weds too but again only 10dpo so maybe like every 48 hrs until my period is due or it arrives. That way I’m allowing myself to check but not obsess!
I haven’t had as many symptoms today but who knows what’s going on, I want it to happen but I am trying to protect my sanity too 😅😅

Ok I take back my no symptoms thing, about 4pm the last 3 days 🤢 nausea so bad, with my daughter I had this and it lasted until 20 weeks 😭 then I threw up all the way through my labour as well!! Definitely asking for anti sickness next time!
hoping this is a good sign and not just hormones fluctuating. Also realised the sudden thirst kicks in around then too 🤔

Ok so if anyone needs a laugh 😆 I went upstairs and was thinking that I’ll just POAS because I feel so bloody sick and I peed in the pot (always do it this way) put it on the side and went to get the test, knocked something out of the cupboard and the whole pot of pee fell down the sink 😂 I mean I’m grateful it went down the sink but also I think the universe is telling me to wait 😂😂

cycle day 1 for me today. Glad it’s arrived so I know where I stand and can start a less obsessive fresh this time

POAS this morning and it was only a cheap pink line one but the control line didn’t show for over 5 mins then had a gap in it. Kind of wish I’d not done it as there was absolutely nothing on it. 9dpo today and woke up feeling sick again. Now I’m starting to think it’s in my head 😞

@Bassbeh17 that really made me chuckle... The universe is definitely trying to tell you to wait 😂

Waiting on Af here, due tomorrow. I have a feeling I either didn't ovulate or ovulated later than predicted. I usually always ovulate between day 18-23, I was really surprised to see a peak OPK for day 14 this cycle. As it was the first cycle after my chemical I put it down to that but it was very out of sync for me.

I have some slight cramping and a very negative test. Not sure what is going on so going to wait! No more money to be spent on tests!

Cycle Day 1 and my god is it kicking my butt! The lower back pain and uterus pain is so painful😭 not debilitating just the worst. Why are we given the worst thing to remind us that we didn’t fall pregnant. It’s a horrid gift each month!

i did a cheapie at 4pm today and nothing but my boobs are veiny and nausea kicked in again and I keep fancying random things but I got a negative.
tomorrow I will be 10dpo and bought some FRER today so I’m gonna do one in the morning and if nothing I will wait til Friday!

@Bubs94 tomorrow is cd1 for me so I may well be joining you!

@Bassbeh17 keep us updated with your FRER! They have a nasty grey indent line which if you look hard enough can seem like a faint line. So ignore that - if you get a pink line it's all good 😊

@SKLM thank you for the warning!! I’m just really up and down about it, one minute I’ve convinced myself I am then I’m like nope I’m not and I just am not sure if I can do this for months on end!!
have you tested today if you’re cycle day 1 tomorrow? Sorry if I’ve missed it!

@Bubs94 I did one this morning and it was negative. It feels like my period is on its way but I think it might be a bit later than tomorrow, I just have this niggling feeling I ovulated a bit later. Sorry to hear you are having a rubbish period, be kind to yourself and have some tasty snacks xx

@Bassbeh17 no worries. I have taken a lot of pregnancy tests this month and I have really noticed the frer indent. Post pics of unsure and we can have a look for you 😊 negative test here x

Took a FRER this morning and BFN I reckon I’m out this month, feel like I had symptoms of rising hormones then it dropped off. Next month I’m gonna use the ovulation strips again but also do it more often not just around that week, I think i maybe ovulated a little later and missed it. Anyway, not out until AF arrives which is due Monday but I am telling myself I’m out now. 😞

@Bassbeh17 same for me 😔 complete BFN. I know it's early but I've just got a feeling this is not my month. Maybe next time!

its such a blow isn’t it.

My period has finished now thankfully. The first day was uncomfortable but I’m grateful they only last 3 days. I’m now on ovulation watch again 😬 I know I said I might avoid fertile windows for a couple of months, but I think I was lying to myself 🙈

@Bassbeh17 how many dpo are you, is it around 10? Don't lose heart - implantation might not have even happened yet, and after implantation it can still take a few days until the hcg levels are high enough to get a positive test. l did some research on the most common day for implantation and it's actually 9/10 with the range being up to 12. Early implantation around 6/7 days is much less common. This is why a lot of women don't test positive until the day of their period being due or one day missed - so, 14/15dpo. If you look at the FRER box then there is still a percentage of women that won't test positive early. Fingers crossed!

Try to hang in there! I am finding it so hard and frustrating too. The most irritating part is that early pregnancy symptoms can be almost identical to PMS symptoms as they are both caused by a rise in progesterone. Could they make it any harder for us 😂

No AF here yet, feels like she is on her way. Maybe stuck in traffic or something. Waiting on my FRER delivery (so much money wasted on these).

@PandaLife yes I was thinking the same as you.. maybe I will take a bit of time off, get the winter and the nursery bugs out the way etc, enjoy some wine! But no, i'm already looking towards my next ovulation date on the calender!

you’re right it’s not over yet and I am 10dpo so I’m just gonna give it til the weekend and try then wait and see if my period comes, I think I’m expecting everything to happen like before and it won’t be the same!

patience is hard!! Especially when my daughter speaks to me daily about wanting a sibling and I’m like yeah mummy wants that too 😭

@Bassbeh17 i get this from my son too. Said he wants a brother called baby Henry…me and my husband are like “we’re working on it buddy😂”
