TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

Is anyone else on 6dpo? I’m sure someone was the same as me? Feel like everyone else is a week ahead!
feeling really nauseous in the afternoons at the moment but also could just be hormones as I’ve been on the pill so long.
god dammit why can’t it be clear!

@90yomakeuproom omg really! Don’t say the twins word around me though 🤫 we have them in both sides of the family 🫣😬 and I definitely only want one more!!

I think I will test with little hope on weds and Friday and if they’re both negative I will wait until Monday when my period would be due.

im struggling to wait so much! I’m also not convinced it will happen this month but think I’m saying that to protect myself!

@Bassbeh17 we have twins both sides too but I wouldn't mind twins actually. Family of five then and job done, at least I wouldn't have to go through these horrendous two week waits again 🤣 I'm going to try to wait until Saturday to test! I'll be so impatient all week though!

I have been in a foul mood for a few days like the kind where you might kill your husband if he comes near you, absolutely exhausted, I’ve taken naps which I never do and gone to bed at 8!

today, woke up feeling fresh and energetic and absolutely starving! Boobs are super tender and my husband said he thinks they feel bigger 😂

I know it’s probably all just the hormones of a normal cycle but I’m enjoying being in tune with my body to be honest! 7dpo today so going to test weds 🤞🏼

@Bassbeh17 oh I know but I thought if you get a positive quite late it usually ends in a chemical or early miscarriage?
I don’t know. Thing is this month I have no idea when I actually peaked/ovulated as I ran out of LH tests as my ovulation was getting high so I never caught my peak so I just guessed my ovulation day from my cm and the last high reading so I could be less dpo so yeah, just going to have to wait until af arrives. Also going to not start ovulation testing until I see the first sign of ewcm as my tests have been getting high a week later than expected on Premom.
symptoms for you sound promising! Looking forward to knowing the outcome for you x

@Bubs94 I have never heard of the miscarriage with a late positive?
your body might just not have made enough hormones yet.

i just went round aldi and felt like I was gonna pass out/throw up, I’ve got a bit of a stuffy nose and I bought fizzy orange because I’m SO thirsty which I’ve not done since I was pregnant the first time.

im not sure if I am talking myself into it though and scared to get let down 😞

@Bassbeh17 and @Bubs94 reading your posts made me feeling very connected to you both I think I am experiencing a lot of things you both are, both the happy and the anxious parts! Last month I had a chemical as you know and it was a faint positive at 14dpo - started bleeding 16dpo.. I don't know if late implantations are more likely to be unsuccessful so I did some research. The implantation window seems to be 6-12 days with 8, 9 and 10 most likely. There seem to be a lot of people having early and late chemicals based on that window on Mumsnet, not sure if there is hard and fast evidence to it... I found a lot of lovely posts where people have found out a bit later and it has all been okay. @Bubs94 I am pretty sure I missed my ovulation date, I have an irregular cycle so not sure about the accuracy of our OPK but as the others say, we are not out until we are out! I did test this morning, convinced myself of a faint line but I think it is just the indent line on the FRER.

@Bassbeh17 it does make you feeling a bit vulnerable talking yourself into being pregnant when you might not be but I think it's all part of the journey and it's fun too? I can get a bit obsessed with symptom spotting but a little bit of it is quite nice. Forever trying to find the balance. My husband thinks my boobs are bigger too hehehe.

Also on an unrelated note I got my husband a waffle maker that he hasn't used yet so for the last two days I have given into my hormones and have been eating waffles for lunch 😂ladies, treat yourselves!!

@SKLM i am definitely going to just let myself feel whatever I feel but I think my husband thinks I’ve lost the plot! Anyway, I’ll keep hoping until

@SKLM i love waffles! You should try adding squirty cream and breaking up a cadbury twirl on top (assuming you can eat dairy).. the smell is divine!!

@PandaLife well I have about 800 pics of the test 😂i can't decide every time I look at it whether there is anything there, I have good eyes and it's a terrible squint even for me. Mumsnet reduces the quality of images so I'm not going to post a pic. If it's darker tomorrow I will, if there is no line then I am sure I will be on here complaining about it!

I’ve just wiped after having a wee and had some ewcm? So confused because I’ve never had that before my af arrives. Is that normal?

@Bubs94 I've had that before, apparently you get a second estrogen increase in the second part of your cycle although it isn't as big as the first. It can give the appearance of ewcm. There can also be cm changes in the early stages of pregnancy but I don't really know what they are?

@Bubs94 weirdly my cm has a bit of stretch to it too. Going to try very hard not to read anything into that!

@SKLM hmmm very bizarre. Felt a bit Crampy today like I’m going to come on. Already packed a pair of granny pants in my work bag ready to change into as it always likes to show up at work!

thanks for your responses everyone, just my luck that it was actually an indent 😂 the next tests were negative, and I’ve just started my period now. It’s been a tough cycle so actually quite glad it’s over :)
i think we’ll take a break from trying, this uti was pretty hard on me and our wedding is coming up in a couple months so gonna focus on that for now. Good luck everyone xx

@Plumchumm sorry to hear it was an indent. That must be very frustrating. Good luck with the wedding planning! Our wedding was at the end of August and I feel so sad now that it’s over. I loved it 🥰 make sure to take the time to enjoy the run up.

@SKLM definitely keep us posted with the tests. Wouldn’t it be nice if all tests were digital so we didn’t have the whole ‘is it/isn’t it’

The whole period knickers thing is a pain in the ass. After not having periods for around 5 years, I’m short on suitable undies so need to go shopping. I don’t like using tampons, so need ones big enough to comfortably fit pads. Although, I want to try and use a cup again. It’s been around 7 years since I last used one.
