TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

@SKLM oh I know!! I’m going for like every other day right now but after tomorrow I’ll try daily as that’s when the app suggests and I will keep testing. Getting a bit fed up of the waiting because I’m so impatient, I think I’ll be pretty gutted if it doesn’t happen this month!!

How did people wait back in the day, the wait is so long and I’ve only got about a week before I can test!

@SKLM honestly don’t know when I’ll test, I tell myself I can wait but then when it’s 9dpo I’m like well I may as well test 😂 x

I’m in such a bloody mood! My cm definitely changed to stretchy and all the ovulation signs and I’ve had low down cramps today and my dear other half is so wound up by the family drama he doesn’t want it tonight! I managed to persuade him yday and he’s promised tomorrow because I’ve made him feel guilty we might miss the boat but I’m genuinely sad we might miss it!

@Bassbeh17 sperm can live for up to 5 days so you are still in with a fighting chance 😊

@SKLM I hope so but I am still holding him to his promise for the next few days to make sure 🤞🏼 might let him have every other day off 😂

I think I ovulated yesterday (I ran out of LH tests a couple days ago and today I no longer have ewcm) so think I’m 1dpo today. Urgh….the dreaded TWW!!

@Bubs94 snap, I think I either ovulated earlier today or it will happen by the end of the day!

@Bubs94 @SKLM I think ive ovulated today as well! Late last night I had a change in cm and this morning it was ewcm and so we did the deed this afternoon so 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’ve also had some cramping today. We did it day before yday and today and will again tomorrow so hopefully we won’t have missed it but my ovulation test still wasn’t as dark on the line as I’d have expected so who knows!!! I’m going by my ewcm more than anything and the cramps!!! Keeping everything crossed for us all 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi ladies, I think I’m going to test around the 14th. However, I feel different this month. Last month I was convinced I could be.. but wasn’t. This month I feel like it isn’t our month, so I’m not as excited to test. If that makes sense? I have been really stressed out lately though which is probably contributing to that feeling. I’m also currently dealing with a gastro bug, so that is delightful 🤦‍♀️
I mean, not being overly excited to test could be a good thing because I might not be so tempted to test all the time. We’ll see. I might feel totally different next week!

I took my ovulation strip test at the usual time today and it was barely any line at all? Yday and the night before I had ewcm and today barely anything. Could it all have happened that fast?
we did the deed twice in that time so hopefully that’s enough but I will be keeping an eye, maybe it’ll happen again?! I really don’t want to miss it this month!!

@PandaLife im the same as you. Last month I was convinced I would but taking that as my recovery cycle after my chemical the cycle before. I’m just not filled with much hope this cycle. I ran out of LH tests so I didn’t test anymore, last one was rising so I would have got peak that eve and ovulated probably the day after I’m just guessing so my app says I’m 9dpo from predicted ovulation but I ovulated later so only 2dpo today so going to test probably 18th (which seems soooo far away!!)

Funnily enough I'm feeling the same as you guys. I sat down earlier and this feeling of calm acceptance washed over me that this wouldn't be our month, it was very strange. I just don't feel hopeful, don't know how to put the feeling into words. Like resignation! Sigh x

@SKLM its sad really. It’s just exhausting all of the emotions and just mentally more than anything. I think if I’m not pregnant this cycle, I’m going to take a break from LH testing, go by my CM and how I’m feeling and just be relaxed and have fun and see. I do hope we all do get there soon though x

It is exhausting and we pick up on every little sign that it could be, only to be disappointed when it isn’t. I was just out cleaning our donkey & goat pens and suddenly felt my boobs hurt. Instantly I was like ‘that hasn’t happened this early before’ and googled the likelihood of a test showing positive this early on 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I. Need. To. Wait. Until. The. 14th!!!

Ok so I’ve now got myself in to a pickle. Because I don’t use ovulation tests and I’ve only had two proper periods since my coil was removed, I don’t technically know what date I was ovulating. I guessed the 2nd because that was in the middle of my predicted dates and going by cm it was likely, although I didn’t have much. What if .. I ovulated sooner 🤨 and my boobs hurting now is a symptom. I do have tests in the house. I know it’s going to be too early, but you all know what it’s like 🤦‍♀️

@PandaLife TAKE THE TEST!!! If you think you’ve potentially ovulated earlier then it could be really good news, if not, just accept maybe you didn’t ovulate earlier and wait another week 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ok just did my ovulation strip and it was barely anything on it. Feel like I’m running a science experiment on myself!! Got a little bit of ewcm today but not much and the other day I had a much darker line and lots of ewcm so I think I’ve potentially ovulated early on 6/7th. On my app it says Sunday so I will keep an eye over the weekend.

Hi all, 7dpo today, nothing to report. Boobs kind of tender, the usual things. have been ill so haven't paid attention really. I'll be able to test from tomorrow and just don't really know if I want to start that whole train. Part of me is like 'well it'll help put the question to rest' but it never does, does it? I'll just be looking at the test over and over debating if there's a line. Would be nice if I could just hold out

Please can I join this thread? First cycle TTC baby no2, DD (3.5) was a very happy surprise so I’m not used to TTC. I’m older now at 37 (DP is 44) but on the whole we are both healthier than when we conceived DD, I am a better weight (BMI 26) and no longer drink or smoke. We wanted to really enjoy DD and had a bit of job uncertainty and needed work doing on our property but everything is in place now.

I’m 7DPO now and it’s actually driving me mad! We DTD every day in the 2 days before ovulation and a couple of days before that so hopefully we are covered, but the symptom spotting is awful and looking for AF every time I go to the loo as I often get a bit of old blood in the days leading up to it. I have a regular 25 day cycle so AF due on Tuesday. Just so anxious and can’t stop googling, DP is just so positive and excited as he got me first time last time!

@TashieWoo welcome to the madness!! We also got our DD first time 5 years ago so the waits a bit tough this time around!!!

I’m really hoping you can all see these clearly, should I be taking this as a positive ovulation strip??? It was barely there yday so I think it is but I’ve not done them before. We dtd yday and two days before and will tonight so I’m hoping we’ve got it at the right time 🤞🏼 my ewcm was back on the 7th and we did it then too, we’ve basically been every other day since my period finished on 2nd so im praying we get it this month.
