TWW feels like forever

WHY does the TWW feel like forever?! I thought I was 7dpo then I actually hit my peak late, and now I’m 3dpo and just want to test😂 fertile window being 28th-2nd with ovulation on 3rd and BD every other day so really hoping it’s done the trick. Had a chemical on Nov 10th. Did anyone fall pregnant the cycle after a chemical?

AF has arrived 2 days early, that’s me out.

I'm 10dpo today and no sign of a positive test. I thought I was having a lot of symptoms but it turns out they were mostly due to the flu we are getting over. I'm having the odd stomach cramp but it could be my period brewing.

To be honest ladies I have driven myself up the wall testing early. I tried my hardest not to and to stay in a calm space about it. I think being stuck at home with a sick 14mo and then being ill myself meant no normal routine and I got a bit obsessive. Not that any of the tests would have been positive if I was pregnant it was so early.

I don't think I am pregnant l, I just don't feel like I did last time. So I will try to do better next month in terms of managing myself. I think at nearly 39 I also have this background stress that I won't be successful this time.

How is everyone feeling?

I will keep you updated, maybe I'll get lucky. If not I look forward to coming back to this thread next month x

I’m sorry to everyone that’s not had the result they want this month. I think I’m finding the limbo the worst bit because at least if I got a period I could try and work out how my cycle was working but because I’ve stopped my pill and then had nothing I literally have no idea what’s happening!! I am so bad without any info and driving myself crazy 🤪

@Bassbeh17 I feel for you. I came off the mini pill in 2023 to conceive my son. It took 6 months for my periods to come back (I had been on it for years. Maybe that was why?) and it was a really confusing time. Odd symptoms all over the place. When they did come back they were a bit irregular too.

@Bassbeh17 coming off the mini pill is so different for everyone. My periods came back straight away and have been regular(ish) - I stopped taking it in May. I was having so many pregnancy symptoms a few months after stopping but I think thank was just my body settling back to its normal.
this whole trying to get pregnant malarkey is so hard isn’t it, but it’ll happen to us ladies, when our baby chooses us at the perfect time. We got this! X

Thanks ladies! Yeah I just wish I’d get some signal either way so I have something to work with. I would love some Christmas news but who knows! We were originally gonna start trying at Christmas so maybe this is the universe telling me I should wait!!

I have pcos so I may not ovulate in 2 weeks exactly but I hope we won’t have to wait too long x

Do you ladies take any supplements for ttc? If so, which ones

Myo-inositol. It is meant to boost ovarian function and regularity. I got it because it is meant to be good for irregular ovulation. I can't give you a review yet as I've only been on it a month this time, but I used it before we tried for my son and we got pregnant first time month trying. So maybe it helped? Also a good all round multi vit with zinc and vitamin d

Well I am incredibly emotional! Wow! I am not a crier but Christ I’ve cried so much today! My daughters first school report 😭 pretend crying in a game with my daughter 😭 watching a movie 😭

Still no AF for me. I’m now 13 days late. Still testing negative. Wondering what on earth is going on! Would you book a Dr appointment? X

@CPHB2021 what tests are you using? I’ve ordered some FRER today on Amazon for like a weeks time as I’m on day 20 since stopping my pill so figured I would wait another week.

I'm starting my TWW today so behind you guys but I already can't cope! Why does the wait feel like forever?! I'm waiting to test on NYE or 1st Jan.

@Bubs94 I take methylated folate. It’s a Metagenetics one which includes 5-methyl tetrahydrofolate, then my usual vit d, magnesium and creatine monohydrate which I’ve been taking for a while.

I’m yet to start my period. I’ve had the worst sore boobs for a few days, I am absolutely exhausted but not sleeping well, had some horrible nightmares too which is rare for me. Last night I was convinced my period was starting because the lower cramping was waking me up. Today it’s pretty much non existent, we’ll see what happens throughout the day. Period is due any time. I’m purposely not testing again, just waiting until Monday to see if AF has started. Off to work feeling sorry for myself, I’d much rather lounge on the sofa, eat stodgy food and watch Christmas films 😂

my husband came home and was like oh I saw this sign today and I’m convinced you’re pregnant and it’s just not showing yet so I stupidly ran up and checked and BFN. It’s so hard without anything to go by but it’s only been 3 weeks today without my pill so I guess I’m not necessarily out 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Bassbeh17 ah bless him that's just the sort of thing mine would say! No you're not out yet. Neither am I, but tbh I'm getting a lot of cramps and I must be 12dpo by now so I think this is it for me!

@SKLM have you been having regular periods? Sorry if you’ve said I just lose track!! I guess until I get a period I’m not out so I could have weeks of waiting impatiently 🙄🫣

@Bassbeh17 I feel for you, when I came off the mini pill before it was so annoying not really knowing if I had ovulated, I was waiting and waiting for that first period! When they came back they were regular and fine. Since having my son they are not totally regular, they came back about 6 months after I had him and I had a lot of bleeding in between and my cycles have gone from being 32-34 days to 35-42 which is a bit irregular. I actually didn't ovulate last cycle as my period didn't come, so I was watching like a hawk for ovulation signs as we wanted to start trying for #2 this month. So I think at the moment I am actually nearly on cycle day 60 due to the previous missed period. As soon as I got fertile cm I started the ovulation sticks and got some strong positives so hopefully I did ovulate this cycle.

I do worry since having my son that my periods are not like they used to be and maybe it's because i'm getting older, 39 in a few months. I hope it doesn't take long to conceive!

@SKLM im sorry you have to experience the confusion too but it’s also nice to not be alone!! I had a few days of a lot of ovulation type cm like 2/3 days of it so made sure we dtd all of those days 😂 hoping that will have worked but if that’s the case that was only a week ago so I need to chill out 😂

@Bassbeh17 if you want advice on chilling out don't ask me 😂😂 got my last first response test laid out ready for tomorrow morning!!!!
