Migrating from the other thread. Hoping to test 12 October if af doesn’t arrive before then

Moving over from the other thread. CD12, which is when I normally ovulate but no signs of impending ovulation. Temp still very down with no signs of rising and OPKs low. Off to Ibiza on Saturdays so will get some BDing on whilst there as presume I’ll ovulate late 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hey @wonderlust07! I’m in the same boat as you. Came off my pill in August and got my first period a couple of weeks ago so now into officially cycle 1 of trying although at the moment I’m trying to be (semi) relaxed about it! I have a nearly 2.5 year old son so we conceived on cycle 3 so hoping we are blessed to be as lucky this time!

This sounds very much like me - I assumed I'd be more relaxed than I actually am. Hoping to try and forget about it as much as possible now until I am able to test😅 I have a son who is 17 months old.

Sending loads of babydust to all you lovely ladies currently sweating in the waiting room for my first scan…never been soo nervous in my whole life really hope all is okay…miscarriage really messes with our minds..

Cycle 3 for me! Currently CD2, ovulation est CD11, TWW should start from 7th October! On holiday during next fertile window so work/life stuff won’t get in the way this cycle 🤩

things I’ve learned since cycle 1

• i prefer to track my temps for O
• i can’t get on with LH strips
• bought some pre-seed to use on O day
• sperm needs to be at least 3-5 days fresh (thank you ChatGPT lol)
• my ovulation is on CD11

has anyone got any other tips 😬🙏

CD1 for me. We were pregnant on Tuesday and then it turned into a chemical so very devastated at the moment. I’m trying to think positive. We meet with a fertility expert once every three weeks and she said I’m definitely ovulating.

Probably should have added it’s cycle 14 for us and our second chemical.

6 dpo for me today

6/7dpo here! Am going on hols around the time AF is due 🫠 so don’t know whether to test a little earlier or just do it the day before/while on hols. Don’t want hol ruined by bad news, but guess that’d happen if AF arrives while there anyway. Generally I prefer not to test until after AF due as just don’t want to know if it’s a really early loss. Had MMC at 12 weeks earlier this year and it devastated me so I’m a bit anxious this time around

This may be a massive TMI - but Hubz and I literally only had 1 chance to DTD last cycle and it had been around 2.5-3 weeks since the last action. Basically his swimmers weren’t ‘very fresh’. Chatgpt says to unleash the swimmers every 3-5 days 🤣
Honestly I don’t know how true this is but we’ll give it a go!

I’m so sorry- that must’ve been really hard. I think to wait- holidays are such precious times.

yeah - we have a 3 year old already, so want to be able to focus on enjoying some time together rather than stressing about TTC

Honestly i think it does make sense also think that’s why a lot of women successfully use smep method when ttc 🥰

That's possible, I just had to check back, and we also had a three day gap before the fertile days when we conceived our daughter

The fertility expert we see said every day is the gold standard and we did conceive both months we did that but neither stuck.

@HansBanansscan went really well little bean is nestled in the right place measured 4mm and saw and heard heart activity 🥰 but got half of my blood results back and they found traces of blood in my urine so not sure what to expect..will probably hear more tomorrow but maybe an infection of the kidneys or something 😕😕 need to stop googling it it’s driving me crazy…
