How is everyone? I thought I had my peak yesterday evening, but it seems like it'll be this morning so ovulation is still later today or tomorrow🤞🤞

@Anya23i dont know why but i think your last night test looks darker and the lighting has affected the ratio 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's possible.. Well we'll see, will dtd today and tomorrow just in case

Never thought I’d be so pleased to see AF! 3 weeks after stopping my pill I’ve finally come on so I can have a clue where I am with cycles and get to BDing! 🫶🏻

Good luck!! How long were you on the pill for?

both, I did both when I was TTC DS1 in 2023 and it gave my a good idea of how my cycle worked as I was a bit clueless after spending my life on the pill. Plus I find the Opks difficult to interpret and the app unreliable so it’s good to have a combination of both I think.

I think my ovulation date is today too says natural cycles. I’ve not done ovulation tests yet, but probs will do if nothing by Christmas

Best of luck to you as well!! I'm glad I did the tests this time, as ovulation was two days early this cycle, although I had such bad cramping today, that I probably would have guessed either way..

I do have a feeling though I might have ovulated on Friday, as I had really bad cramps. But who knows. Perhaps I should track. Not great timing as think last time we dtd was Wednesday. Too shattered yesterday.

the first time I’d been on it 10+ years, came off and was so so blessed to fall with my son on cycle 3. I had him in May 2023 and went back on the pill 8 weeks later so July 2023. Even tho I was breastfeeding my cycle came back at 5 weeks postpartum 😩 so I was keen to lose AF again!

Two days before ovulation is still a really high chance, so 🤞if you managed to dtd today, that also raises your chances

I know I did feel a bit cheated tbh as I had friends that were Breastfeeding and didn’t get their AF for months, some over a year. But nope, my uterus was like “ok, baby is cooked, let’s get back to business “ 😂

I bet it wasn’t a welcomed arrival.
I got mine on Christmas Eve evening and remember being zero prepared, had to go to petrol station to get pads. It was 7 months

I was lucky and still had a stash of maternity pads but it was still less than ideal. I was quite lucky with my wife postpartum recovery though and it was all over fairly quickly. Maybe that was why things returned to “normal” a bit quicker.

OMG absolutely. I was extra relieved as we (stupidly) at 4 weeks PP and I had this idea that breastfeeding meant you couldn’t get pregnant (Not True!) so I had to crawl to the doctor for emergency contraception and sit through an interview at 31 years old before I could get it.
mortifying.

Oh my doctor couldn’t wait to prescribe me contraception after my daughter. Although, I didn’t take it as wanted to be hormone free for a while.

I still think they treat us like 17 year olds when in 30s 😂

Quick question, someone told me the luteal phase is always the same length, but my last 2 cycles have been 14 days then 12 days. Lh surge day before Bbt confirmed ovulation so can the luteal phase differ or maybe my temp rose a couple of days after ovulation?
