Evening all...
My dd mnust've know about the Medised... we were recommended it by a friend to 'help' dd sleep on long haul flight. Was only going to use it if absolutely nec. Well after half an hour of screaming after take-off and her doting parents feeling more and more mortified we loaded up a syringe full of Medised. DH held DD down (she HATES medicine) and I attempted to press down the plunger. DD wasn't having any of it and fought back. Lo and behold sticky pink Medised went squirting up into the air and landed on all the people in the row behind us - just at the start of a 13 hour flight!
How popular do you reckon we were???!

Diege · 23/05/2008 19:30

Agree, tis very frustrating for you BB . As squack says, maybe just a case of testing every week or so with cheapies (otherwise you'll be broke!).
Lol at psychic ds Kay - my cat was like that just before I found I was pregnant with dd3 (not wishing to compare my cat with your ds!!)always circling me and 'padding' on my tummy!
Right, am off for the night now. Loads to list on e-bay then up for an early one as I'll be doing the 6.45 shift solo tomorrow .
Night all, diege xxx

Diege · 23/05/2008 19:32

PMSL Kooky! . It might have been a blessing as for a small percentage of children it has the opposite effect apparently, as my neighbours found out with their ds on the flight out to USA .
Right, I am gone!

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 19:37

Sorry for delay been getting dd to sleep. She is so poorly bless her.

OK not sure if i have done this right but I think this should be link to my chart...

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 19:38

LOL Kooky she must be psychic too!!

LL it doesn't show up.

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 19:40

I dont know how to do it then... I cant seem to get just the chart on the page. I need some help squack.

Mind you it only has three readings on it so not much to look at so far.

happynappies · 23/05/2008 19:41

Evening all - can anyone tell me what to buy (fertility monitor/ovulation sticks etc) to help me ttc? Also - is anyone# due to ov around 5th June so I can hand-hold. Dh and I had huge discussion about this last night (ttc, not hand-holding!) - he thinks I'm too anxious about it already, and should stop reading threads on Mumsnet and just take things as they come. Can't. Deciding to try for #2 was a massive decision and as soon as I had decided, I madly want another baby. I don't know how you 'do' laidback and take it as it comes!

Not many weekend plans here. We're trying to decorate, weather looks pretty rubbish... got pizza in the oven and I might as well celebrate AF with a glass of wine. Hope to catch up with people later!

Squack · 23/05/2008 19:45

LL go to your page click on sharing, then click on home page setup.
that will show you at the top of the screen "your charting homepage web address" copy and paste the address that ends in "home/numbers and letters".

Then add it in a link in the normal way here. That outta do it

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 19:45

I am using clear blue DIGITAL ov sticks this month and am on CD4 at the moment, dont know when I am due to OV but it was CD12 last month. I am happy to hold your hand happy....

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 19:50

ok here goes

here

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 19:56

YAY!!!

I can see it LL!!

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 20:01

yippeee......

I cant wait to get stuck in this month.

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 20:15

I'm an idiot. I just got DS(little bugger is teething and wont sleep) ready to go to the shop as I we need some cheese.

It shuts at 8!! And whats worse is that I WORK there!!!

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 20:28

Kay that is very bad........ PMSL that you work there as well...

I have my wine, crisps and humous (sp?) and am relaxing for the night.

So what do you think of my chart? Have I ov? am I up the duff .

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 20:30

I've worked there for nearly 4 years. You'd think I'd know the opening times!!

That is a pretty high temp jump isn't it?

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 20:33

I thought that as well. I am using an ear thermometer hope that is ok.

Maybe the last two were low as I was on AF and now am off. Dont know how it works. It is only 36.1 so very normal.

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 20:42

How does it work?

Do you get a higher temp if you are OV?

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 20:47

I think so I am hoping that squack will hold my hand with it all. I am only on CD4 and will start using my OPK at cd8 so hopefuly my temp will rise when I get my

DD is so poorly she has a nasty cold and a nasty cough again. I think it is all due to teeting but when I asked my GP he said

"Children do not get ill when they are teething all they get are teeth." so now I am thinking maybe she is coming down with something again.

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 20:54

Well DS seems to get 'ill' when he is teething. He is much more grumpy, awful nappies, higher temp etc.

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 20:59

That is what I thought....... I have given her one spoon of calpol now. She has gone back down now, I have also smothered her vest in Vicks as she clearly can not breath through her nose...

Lets hope that sees her through....

She is normally such a good sleeper. She actually asks to go to bed most nights. And never wakes up, so when she does I know that it is because she is ill and not playing up..

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 21:01

Same with DS, its very rare he doesn't sleep through the night. It always panics me when he wakes up.

happynappies · 23/05/2008 21:04

Thank you LL. Am on CD2... Do you have to pay to use FF? Are you tracking your temperature to work out when you ov? Much to learn here... This week has turned me into a neurotic mess about ttc - sorry for all the anxious questions!!!

kayzisexpecting · 23/05/2008 21:09

Right I am off now as DH is home and we are going to have dinner. I'm also hoping DH can persuade DS he wants to stop teething and go to sleep. But he doesn't seem sleepy and he wants to play.

lardylumps · 23/05/2008 21:15

FF is free for the first month (which is why I am giving it a go ). I am a neurotic mess about ttc as well that is why I am going full out this month. Squack is the queen of FF and will help us I am sure..

Night Kay have a good evening. I wont be back on until Sunday so have a lovely saturday too...

kookykid · 23/05/2008 21:23

I am trying very hard to be clam about ttc. Had utterly convinced myself that I was pg last month, but got BFN when tested on my AF due date, only to have it arrive the next day. Was .
I am doing OV testing for the first time this month. Has this worked for any of you that have been lucky enough to get BFPs??
