You must be over the moon. I'm genuinely so pleased for you, and a little bit hopeful that means these tube flushing procedures can have happy outcomes at the end.

I think we are actually tipping into a majority of the crew being pregnant now and I just really really hope everyone's pregnancies continue smoothly and that @Waitingformiracle @Tater05 and I join soon too - and all the other lovely ladies that pop on here.

Speaking of @Waitingformiracle do you want to give a little update? Whereabouts are you at now? I'm rooting so hard for you for this first cycle 💞

Is it ok if I join? I'm ttc my first and tbh don't know anything about tracking or when to take ovulation tests 😂 I'm 30 and have slightly irregular periods. Baby dust to you all ✨ ✨

MocktailMe · 25/06/2025 16:37

Of course.

If you've never used OPK I would start them as soon as your period ends. They are positive when both lines are equally dark (you'll get two lines a lot of the time but it's only positive when both are equal). When you get the positive you'll be ovulating around 24-48 hours later - give or take. That means you need to have as much sex as you can fit in for the next 48 hours once you get the positive!

That's not a terrible method if you are looking to time sex for ovulation. Or, you can just have sex daily or every other day from when your period ends. That's what I'm doing these days because I cannot face squinting over any more sticks!

Most of us use some sort of period tracker app, but bear in mind these won't give any useful indicators until you've logged multiple cycles - even then it only tracks trends. It will predict your ovulation window but it might not be correct. But it's still worth doing as you should learn your cycle and helps you know when is the right time to take a pregnancy test.

Thank you for the advice, I will have a go with the ovulation sticks as I only bought 5 anyway 😂 but I may just try dtd every other day after my period stops as I am irregular it's hard to pinpoint ovulation for myself. I am currently using flo not sure if that app is good but it seems to be ok for me at the moment. 😁

Waitingformiracle · 25/06/2025 16:50

@MocktailMe update from me is we are actually going into the doctor tomorrow morning to find out if we have any euploids to transfer. I am sick with nerves and a bit of excitement, but trying to protect my heart as best I can. If we do have some to transfer then it will be the end of July! Which is so exciting and terrifying. In the meantime we are trying this month but my ovulation is a bit all over the place from the IVF meds so I’m on CD 16
and no sign of it yet.

I agree it’s so great to see so much good news on here and I hope we won’t be long behind!!

MocktailMe · 25/06/2025 18:24

Oh wow @Waitingformiracle exciting and terrifying in equal measures for sure!!!

I really hope there'll be some good news tomorrow at the doctor's for you. Maybe time to stick a favourite old film on, have a nice cup of tea and try to relax tonight! Tomorrow will be here before you know it. Please let me know how you get on and remember one step at a time - if you can't transfer this time, that's just another hurdle to take - you've leapt over much harder ones before. Will be thinking of you, and if no one has mentioned it recently - well done for always being so bloody brave!

Waitingformiracle · 25/06/2025 18:41

@MocktailMe that sounds like a great plan I’m going to get myself into some pjs and curl up with a nice film! Thank you so much for the support and encouraging words, I really appreciate it! I will of course update you tomorrow and fingers crossed will have some good news to share 🤞 but yes if not, I feel confident that I can take on another egg retrieval!

Waitingformiracle · 26/06/2025 09:58

Well ladies we have a euploid!!! Honestly so so thrilled. We will be transferring at the end of July. I am so full of hope for the first time in a long time!!

PearOpal · 26/06/2025 10:51

Hey ladies, I’m on holiday so lots to catch up on. EEKKK CONGRATS!!! @CharLdn what wonderful news to come back to for you. I’m so happy for you!

@Waitingformiracle so happy to here things are progressing and that you’ve got a transfer coming up. We’re rooting for you!

PearOpal · 26/06/2025 10:56

@Toadxox welcome! Definitely second @MocktailMe suggestions. Getting to know your cycle and tracking ovulation are a great way to start off TTC and learn about what is normal for your body.

obviously nothing major on my end. Af arrived right on time this week so I’m on to another cycle!

MocktailMe · 26/06/2025 11:52

AMAZING news @Waitingformiracle just what I was hoping to hear! im so pleased you're onto the next stage.

@PearOpal me and you both 😂 I'm just chugging along CD 7 currently we will be covering at least EOD from here on out (well actually from CD 5 because I'm a lunatic!)

OP posts:
Tater05 · 26/06/2025 12:20

@Waitingformiracle such amazing news!! I'm so glad things are looking up, our thread is suddenly feeling very hopeful this week!

@PearOpal sorry to hear AF arrived, I hope you're still having a lovely holiday!
@MocktailMe I'm also just chugging along, on CD6. Time to bring out the OPKs as we can't do every other day despite DH taking his maca root every day 😂

CharLdn · 26/06/2025 12:33

@Waitingformiracle hell yeah!!! What a week 🎉

Waitingformiracle · 26/06/2025 12:39

Thanks so much @MocktailMe @Tater05 @CharLdn @PearOpal hopefully the beginning of more positive news for us 🤞

lavafield · 26/06/2025 12:46

@Waitingformiracle Super news about a good embryo! Time will fly in all the exciting anticipation until end of July now! 🙌

Waitingformiracle · 26/06/2025 14:08

Thank you @lavafield !! I am so thrilled. Trying to keep expectations low to avoid disappointment if it doesn’t work but I must admit I’ve been fantasising about it being successful all morning!

PearOpal · 26/06/2025 15:29

@Tater05 and @MocktailMe somehow I think I forgot how close we all are in our cycles! I’m CD6 since you started tracking have y’all noticed any consistency in when you ovulate each month?

MocktailMe · 26/06/2025 15:44

I think you're allowed a bit of fantasising @Waitingformiracle the dream coming true is what keeps us all at it after all! There's a time to set expectations I absolutely agree and not let yourself get toooo carried away, but today is absolutely not that time. Celebrate the wins 🥳

Yes we are all in sync this cycle it seems! Which is great as will have support for the 2WW. Personally I don't seem to have much consistency. I know for sure I've conceived twice and I do think I had a chemical last year too (posted about it at the time but it's about a year ago now) on the two confirmed ectopics I definitely ovulated around CD 15 on the maybe chemical it was much earlier around CD 7. Ive had OPKS that line up with my period coming showing ovulation as late as CD21. That's why the TTC portion of my cycle feels so long as I like to cover all eventualities!!!

KT199 · 26/06/2025 16:30

@Waitingformiracle what amazing news. July will be here before you know it. Fingers crossed for your transfer, this is really exciting and huge milestone. Celebrate every little one you have as every one is that step closer to the successful cycle your waiting for 🤞

Tater05 · 26/06/2025 16:49

@PearOpal yes I consistently ovulate on day 18 or 19, other than a couple of months ago when it was day 25. Because of that cycle I'm now in sync with you both which is nice, I don't usually have anyone at the same point as me!

@Waitingformiracle of course you're fantasising about it, how could you not! You have to carry some hope with you, and today is definitely a day you can just be happy about it!

CharLdn · 04/07/2025 10:14

Hey team wanted to let you guys know my good luck seems to have taken a turn today as I had some spotting earlier this week and now my tests have gone back to negatives :(

I’m not feeling too sad just frustrated that my short window of not being anxious is over.

I’m seeing it as a positive we can get naturally preggo and hoping we can get going again soon as I’ve heard there can be some increased fertility after a chemical/early loss.

I’m going to confirm everything via bloods and a scan today… but my body just doesn’t feel preggo anymore.

How is everyone else getting on?

MocktailMe · 04/07/2025 11:20

Oh @CharLdn I am so so sorry. I know how long you've waited and it's so cruel to have a chemical after the excitement of those two lines :( here if you want to talk about it.

I do think it is true that once you get pregnant once it can be easier for it to happen again in some cases (such as mine) and I hope it will be the case for you.

This time is particularly hard as you do want to get straight back to it but it's hard to work out where your body is at. Hopefully you'll spot ovulation signs soon as it can happen in as little as two weeks after an early loss.

OP posts:
Waitingformiracle · 04/07/2025 11:39

I am so sorry @CharLdn that is so so cruel after the excitement of finally getting that positive test. Like you said hopefully this is a good sign of things to come and you’ll benefit from some increased fertility now 🤞 mind yourself ❤️‍🩹

CharLdn · 04/07/2025 11:51

Thank you @MocktailMe and @Waitingformiracle it’s just another day on the 🎢 bloody rollercoaster we all didn’t choose to be on!

I’ve got a blood test today, private scan today and now NHS scan booked for Tuesday so going to definitely get some answers.

I’m trying to stay neutral and not get into the pit of despair.

To share what I’ve learned

  • I’ve learned how my body feels when pregnant
  • I can get pregnant!
  • Nothing showed on a test till 14 dpo
  • My body temperature tells me a lot! Stayed high all pregnancy
  • My CM is the biggest sign of ovulation - I didn’t use strips when I got preggo
  • I can ovulate late - I think I ovulated day 18
  • It’s ok to drink a bit when TTC
  • Being self employed is hard - because if I don’t work I don’t get paid :(

On we go!

How are you guys doing?

lavafield · 04/07/2025 12:09

@CharLdn So sorry to hear that you had a chemical. But you are absolutely right, it is a sign you can get pregnant naturally and hopefully the increased fertility will still show up in the months that follow. It is little consolation, I know, but sometimes embryos are just not viable, it is nothing you can or cannot do about it.
I am myself worried sick every single day at 23 weeks. One day I think I froze my baby when I fell asleep with an ice pack under my bump, the next day I can't stop worrying because I got sunburnt including on the bump, next day I desperately try to gauge if the movements are the same or reduced, then the following day I panic that the bump feels much smaller and softer for some reason, then the constant worry of that watermelon or lettuce you were served was properly washed... etc etc. You are right, it is a rollercoaster and trust me it doesn't stop even half way into pregnancy, it gets worse. We are away on holidays but I can't stop being anxious and worried 😟 I guess one tip for when getting pregnant if you are a worrier like me, don't change your routine too much and stay home for all 9 months ! Lol
