Hello we’ve just started TTC baby number 2 and I wondered if there was anyone else in a similar situation who fancied supporting each other? Everyone very welcome, baby number 1 or 100! I just remember how nice it was to have people to share crazy symptom spotting and commiserate unsuccessful cycles with last time. I’ve joined a few other threads and whilst they seem really friendly and supportive it feels a bit like I’m crashing a party where everyone else already knows each other so thought I’d try starting my own thread in the hope of finding someone else who felt the same.

@CherryVicky faint tests are so stressful, I think the is it there is it not there dilemma is actually worse than an obviously negative one! I really hope you get a nice clear positive in the next few days. Fingers crossed for you!

Sadly I’m not definitely out this month but at least I can enjoy my coffee guilt free this morning!

Hi guys - just an update for you all. Pretty sure I had a positive test yesterday (⁹DPO). Had strange cramps all day yesterday, but they have eased today so now I'm nervous about chemical. The first response seems to have faded, but the internet cheapies have some progression (bottom one is this morning) not sure what to think

@BeNavyLion Ooh they look like good positives! It takes a couple of days for HCG to double so it could be in the next couple of days the progression will be more noticeable. Form my screen the first responses look very similar, I wouldn't say there is fading. And I imagine even slight differences in urine dilution at this early stage can have an impact?

@PurpleSpottedLeopard aww sorry to hear you are out this month. Hope the coffee is good though! Will you try anything different next cycle to help with conception do you think?

@CherryVicky It drives you mad looking when they start out so faint doesn't it! Hopefully in a day or two they will become more obvious

@RadishTea Also hope you get a definitive answer soon. Tricky if you don't know where you are in your cycle having just come off the pill. Will you keep testing or just wait and see if period arrives?

@CTTat thank you! Still not quite sure I believe it. I'm keeping using up the tests I've got and the ICs are now showing a more convincing line so things are presumably progressing as well as they can at this stage :)

@BeNavyLion definitely looks like strong positives to me! And I agree that there could easily be small fluctuations at this stage that might make the line look a bit different from test to test.

@CherryVicky hope you get a clearer test soon but looks promising!

@Lou12387 The nausea has been around for 3 days and I keep obsessively testing but each day it has been negative so starting to think it might just be a bug. I never used to feel nauseous (apart from pregnancy with my son) but since he started nursery I've had a lot of stomach bugs... It's going to be hard going forward to disentangle that - every time he brings some illness home I'm going to think I'm pregnant again...

@BeNavyLion I think the frer lines look very similar too so I wouldn’t worry about progression. They look like good strong lines for 9/10 days to me!

@RadishTeabless you! It's so frustrating when the little ones bring home bugs, especially when the symptoms match those of early pregnancy.

Update today for me is the cramping I had all day yesterday has settled today, still feel the odd twinge. No sign of my period yet. Test today was negative so thinking possibly looking at a chemical pregnancy. I'm not too disheartened if it is as we knew chance this month was low.

Definitely looks like a chemical pregnancy for me this month. Further tests negative and since testing positive Monday I've had nasty cramping. Ipm officially due today so just awaiting AF to arrive now.

I'm feeling like an idiot - I recently started taking quite high strength iron supplements because of low levels on a blood test and checking the side effects - one of the main ones is nausea! So that would totally explain it, especially as it seemed too soon to be pregnant already.

Feeling a bit crampy now so expecting period to come and then hopefully I'll know where I am for next cycle.

I’m 5dpo and feeling EXHAUSTED, have had mild headaches for a few days and EWCM. Really trying to convince myself that this is because I'm pregnant 😬😆

I honestly thought i was out. Im now 2 days late and have been anticipating AF any moment. I decided to test again this afternoon, all tests up till today have been negative. Im in shock that today's was positive, clearly Mondays test picked up a faint wiff of Hcg.

Thank you! It's definitely been an emotional rollercoaster, part of me is trying not to get my hopes too high though.

@RadishTea at least you worked out the reason for the nausea! Did AF arrive? Like you say, at least you'll know where you are for the next cycle

yes, I'm on day 2 of AF now. Actually pretty pleased that I know what is going on!

@Lou12387bfn and a very fl on a cheapie which was a complete mindf but unfortunately i know it was an evap and we missed the key times to DTD. DH popped his shoulder out yday in time for our fertile window this month and is scheduled to have shoulder surgery...so babymaking will be on the backburner until hes not in pain anymore (history tells me not to try BD atm, or i would have). So il be a bit quiet but lurk on the threads and try to just be healthy this month and become more familiar with my cycle!

@Lou12387 I’ve already tested at 6 and 7 DPO (today) so there’s no hope for me holding off FFS! I feel so off not helped by what I think are 2 evap lines!

@Lou12387yeah there's progression! My symptoms are so strange though, usually wake up with zero symptoms then after my morning coffee they come on (just cramps ATM)

@therandomUN I'd take the test in water and see if it's a batch of faulty tests because I think it's rare to get 2 evaps 🤔 if it's negative I'd say there's a high chance of a positive

The one with the red dot was DPO9 - all the others have about 24 hrs between them.
