@FlyHighSky72 please be kind to yourself today. Seeing a bright white test, even if it's early, even if you weren't expecting a positive, even if you think you're trying to let yourself down gently before AF arrives, even if you can still hold onto a little hope until AF comes... it's still deeply sad to see a negative test when all you want is to be pregnant. We all know how you feel

@FlyHighSky72 I get you. We just get our hopes up and there's always a little part of us that thinks maybe. It's very disappointing. It's only your first month and you're not out yet!

@FlyHighSky72 you're not out until herself shows up. You're right that because we go through the bodied experience of pregnancy that we feel it most when it doesn't go as planned. I had a discussion with my partner yesterday about how I was feeling and he says, sure we'll try again next month if it doesn't stick. Had to explain to him why that was frustrating for me; he doesn't get it.

Well I’m out back to cycle day 1 for me fingers and toes crossed this month & for everyone else tct. Big congrats to everyone with their BFP this month so far amazing news!

@Ash2345f @megan345 :( how are you feeling with it? Rubbish isn't it.

I'm wavering about not testing until AF due... the tests I've got are 10 rather than 25 whatever the unit is, and I'm due in 6/7 days... But if I'm pg and then it's chemical, would I rather know for fewer days or more days? I genuinely don't know. If it's a really faint line I'll drive myself mad with pessimistic thoughts. I think I need to wait until next week, Monday at least. Due wed/thu. Argh just needed to vent.

Did my three different branded tests just now and absolutely nothing - not even a hint of a line so I’m out this month!

@FlyHighSky72 ah sorry. But do you have any AF symptoms (or do you not usually get any)? I'll still cross my fingers for you

@hollyhocks2i don’t really get any I don’t think! This is my first month ttc and tracking symptoms (mainly so that when I’m not pregnant this month and AF comes I can compare in future months) so I’m diligently logging everything so I can compare

@hollyhocks2 it's such a mind game! I suppose ask yourself would you rather know about a possible chemical or just wait for AF and be none the wiser?

@FlyHighSky72 sorry, it's a kick in the stomach seeing the white test. Will you test again or just wait for AF?

@FlyHighSky72 I am sorry the tests were white. Most implantation takes place 8-10dpo and the median is 9dpo I believe. It then takes a few days for hcg to be high enough to be detectable (and then cause symptoms) so I would not officially rule yourself out yet at 10dpo. In Feb I didn't get a BFP until 17dpo and with the chemical in March I was 13dpo. While I don't think I will have good news this month (I've been comparing my notes from Feb), I am not ruling myself out until Saturday (12dpo) and then officially whenever (if) herself appears.

@hollyhocks2 how many dpo are you again?

I'm 8dpo today. That's really interesting @ForGiddyDreamer about when implantation happens. I thought it was quicker than that, don't know why. Goes to show why testing this early is not always very insightful! I think that because I don't know the answer to that question @SureLook I should try and hold off. Will take it one day at a time!

That sounds like a good plan @hollyhocks2 see how you feel on each day.

Afternoon all. 6DPO today so faaaar too early to test and I know it, but the urge to test is strong 😆 I did feel crampy, bloated, and headachey yesterday but dunno if that means anything.

@GracieJames that test looks a bit flooded to me. But I still think I can see a shadow.

@DownWithCremeEggs it's so hard to know isn't it??
