Another day down. 9dpo tomorrow. Probably not even implanted (yet). Staying strong!!

@FlyHighSky72 let us know how you get on today. I am hoping you have no AF update! @SureLook I think you're like me and might test this weekend? I am going to try to wait until Sunday (13dpo). I had a dull ache in my groin last night so I think herself is starting her work.

@ForGiddyDreamer yep, I'm testing this weekend. I'm gonna do tomorrow which is 12dpo. I'll be at home and DP will be there. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏻

Hi all! My appointment went great- being inseminated is very anti- climatic (pardon the pun!) and we were in an out of hospital in record time. 5dpo now and a lot calmer than last month. Last month everything tasted soapy and I convinced myself i was pregnant- turns out the dishes weren’t being rinsed properly 😂 sending love and best wishes to all of you xx

@hollyhocks2 Hi, hope you are okay. Just been reading through this thread from the beginning and seen that you have had two early MCs and then read later where you mention your conversation with the midwife. I just wanted to say that after my MMC in 2023 I was completely broken. I had never heard of anyone having one of these so it was a real shock. I did just think that I had been one of the unlucky ones this happens to and hoped things would go better next time. A few months on I was so happy to find that I was pregnant again, only to be faced with a strong positive line one day and literally a cold blank white test the next, followed by the start of bleeding the following day. Almost exactly the same thing happened three months after that. I am now in cycle 7 trying again but I do have some potential issues discovered privately and the NHS has now taken over for any on-going investigations.
The reason I an warbling on a bit here is that if I had known after my first chemical that this was not going to be my last loss I would have started the ball rolling on tests then. Maybe I wouldn’t have lost the third pregnancy, nobody can say. I didn’t consider it because the MMC and the chemical were entirely different types of miscarriage so I didn’t think there would be a link.
Statistics say that if you have had two losses you are still very likely to be successful the next time and that will therefore likely and very hopefully be that way for you but if you get the test ball rolling now you will have extra time on your side x

Really really sending all the best possible vibes to the weekend testers. I hope to hold out until Monday, would be 12dpo. Had a chat with DP today and am reminded that testing early doesn't help his emotions any more than it helps mine.

Thanks @Objectiontime I appreciate you responding and sharing your experience. Am sorry to hear all you've been through - solidarity. I take your point that starting the ball rolling now gives me a head start if I end up going down the route of investigations in the end anyway. I think a GP appt is definitely needed, a conversation. I will go from there. The thought that your 3rd mc could have been prevented is very sobering, that has made an impression on me. Wish you all the baby dust plus the wonder of modern science to ensure your next pregnancy sticks

I'm holding off as long as I can until tomorrow (13dpo). I don't have a good feeling this month and I've had a dull ache like the AF ache in my groin for days. Had a good cry at my partner last night so I think pms is in good swing. Let me know once you all test and if you're testing again @FlyHighSky72 @hollyhocks2 congratulations again @SureLook 🥰

Hi @ForGiddyDreamerI tested this morning at 12dpo and nothing so I think I’m out! Premom and the app on the phone predicted period was due Friday so I’m one day late - no idea what’s going on tbh!

@FlyHighSky72 I'm sorry and I really empathise with how frustrating it is! I've sat here and had a good cry this morning too. If you're a day late, test again in 2 days time in case you were a late implanter. My Feb pregnancy I was 16/17dpo before BFP and the March chemical I was 13dpo. That's why I'm waiting to 13dpo.

I feel I'm out as I've no symptoms whatsoever. My only judge is the Feb pregnancy as I did have symptoms. I didn't with the chemical.

Sorry you’re also feeling so down @ForGiddyDreamer! I can’t remember if I had any symptoms with my DS as it was 10 years ago!! Yeah will try testing on Monday or Tuesday if no AF by then - such a waste of money all these tests!! I feel sick but don’t know if it’s just something I’ve eaten or all in my head! Just checked my cervix (sorry for tmi) and it’s still high but open (honestly could be always open as my DS was enormous) and I’ve got loads of sort of slippery CM! Bodies are so weird!!

@ForGiddyDreamerive also read that any implantation after 10DPO is unlikely to lead to a successful pregnancy so I reckon I’m out - I think if you implant at 10DPO you’d test positive at 12dpo right?

@FlyHighSky72 I know, between ov tests and preg tests, everyone is out a fortune! I never know what I am feeling for or if I am feeling the right thing when I check the cervix 😅

I am not sure about anything after 10dpo not being successful. The window is meant to be 8-10 with most at 9. Hcg doubles every two days so if you start off with a low number, it could take more than 2 days for even the pink dyes to pick it up. I've read so many posts from women who didn't get a BFP until 15dpo and on after getting BFN earlier in their cycles, but the problem is that everyone is so different and that some may have ov later than they think. That's why it's recommended to wait until the day of expected period. The whole TTW is torture. I think this has been my worst one yet.

@ForGiddyDreamermakes sense - I more meant I read that if you implanted after 10 dpo the pregnancy wouldn’t be successful as in it might lead to a miscarriage.
yeah, my period was due yesterday according to the apps….so I’m 1 day late and still nothing 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️Urgh!! So frustrating
