Hi everyone, I've been watching this thread for days and finally tested today! I'm 9dpo so still super early, did an Internet cheapie and got a faint line so did a FRER...and it's definitely a bfp🥲🥲 the FRER defo has a pink line but might be hard to see on the photo xx

Cannot believe it, I feel sick but I think from the excitement and shock rather than symptoms!🤣 please please stick ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@TigerLily38 ah, I can see that clear as day on the FRER! Amazing, congratulations ❤️

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 10:36

Congrats @TigerLily38do you mind me asking how old you are and how long you’ve been trying? I’m also 9 dpo and BFN for me this morning, but I’m 37

ForGiddyDreamer · 14/05/2025 10:47

congrats @TigerLily38 I can see the line on the FRER! Fingers crossed it progresses smoothly for you ❤

Hi gals, I am new here, this is my first cycle trying for a baby after last year d/c (risky pregnancy due to high risk meds) and it was traumatic for both my hb and I. Thanks to God I am on a different meds now so it’s safe. Although, my cycle is kinda different now, I guess my body went through a lot of stress (as my mind and soul). I am currently on cd 17 (should be my O day) but opk shows still rising LH and not the surge. I will take it again in the evening to confirm it’s happening. Hope these few days are gonna do their best 😊 It’s sooo helpful to read some useful stuff from you ladies and I just wanted to say thank you! Wish you all concieve this cycle including me 🥰

ForGiddyDreamer · 14/05/2025 10:49

@FlyHighSky72 same, also 9dpo today! And also 37. How have you been feeling? I am doing my best not to symptom spot (9dpo is still relatively early on) but I just don't have a great feeling this month. Though with my preg in Feb I didn't have any symptoms until I was 12dpo, first BFP wasn't until I was 17dpo!

TigerLily38 · 14/05/2025 10:57

@SureLook @ForGiddyDreamer thank you so much!! 💕 how are you both doing?x

@FlyHighSky72 thank you 💕 I'm 31, we've had a few months of "not trying not preventing" but this was our first month of properly trying with tracking ovulation. Do you track your ovulation at the moment? My peak is so quick that it would have been easy to miss it, I think I was just lucky with catching it! X

ForGiddyDreamer · 14/05/2025 11:22

@TigerLily38 doing ok. I had some cramping 6-8dpo and reflux but that seems to have dissipated. No other symptoms but trying not to compare to the previous preg in Feb. I plan to hold off testing until Sat or Sun (12-13dpo).

TigerLily38 · 14/05/2025 11:24

@ForGiddyDreamer wishing you all the very best for the weekend 💖💫

I've felt nothing except for some pains yesterday, insomnia last night and a really bad stuffy nose - none of the usual pregnancy symptoms I'd been expecting to feel! X

SureLook · 14/05/2025 11:26

@MsFr welcome! Sorry to hear about your loss. I had a D&C in February and my cycles haven't been my usual ever since. I'm hoping they regulate soon. Baby dust ✨️ I'm good thanks. Feeling a bit better than this morning. I was quite anxious. 9dpo today. I'm not going to test until Saturday which is 12dpo.

MsFr · 14/05/2025 11:47

@SureLookthanks! It helps a lot knowing I’m not the only one. I’m kinda worried about that “anovulation” thing but even if I’m ovulating every month I’ve got kinda hooked on it. I guess body knows the best.
9dpo is early to tell though, since implantation can take up to 12 dpo and also symptom spotting is risky mind game we play on ourselves (I’m getting there in few days 😂) Hoping for an update from you and that the rest of your tww pass quick and with positive outcome

SureLook · 14/05/2025 11:52

@MsFr yeah, I think we need longer to recover than we think we do! That's exactly it, a risky mind game. My luteal phase has been shorter since my D&C but I ovulated a bit earlier this month so hopefully. Fingers crossed for us all!

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 12:14

@TigerLily38yes I tracked ovulation this month (first month trying) and also have a super fast peak!

thanks @ForGiddyDreamer

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 12:16

Sorry that posted too early @ForGiddyDreamerthis is my first month ttc and my app says my period is due Friday (seemingly I only have a ten day luteal phase) so I sort of thought I have to test today (9 dpo BFN) and then I’ll test again tomorrow (10 dpo) - fingers crossed! Otherwise I’ll just wait to see if my period arrives on Friday - fingers crossed it doesn’t!!!

ForGiddyDreamer · 14/05/2025 12:19

@FlyHighSky72 fingers crossed she doesn't arrive & you get your positive!

TigerLily38 · 14/05/2025 12:36

@FlyHighSky72 ahh that's great you've been tracking it and caught the peak! Fingers crossed for your bfp, sending you lots of good vibes 🥰 x

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 13:27

Thanks @TigerLily38and @ForGiddyDreamerme too!! Feeling very sad right now after my stark white test this morning - I really thought I’d be fine with it but I’m really upset! Sounds stupid as this is my first month trying but I’m just really worried it won’t happen as im so old now (37 and had my first 10 years ago with a different partner)

ForGiddyDreamer · 14/05/2025 13:48

@FlyHighSky72 completely empathise with feeling 'old' - I am the same age as you, but so many women are now having children later. I am trying for my first ever. My partner and I didn't meet until we were already in our 30s. This is also your first cycle ttc so (easy to say) but don't be hard on yourself.

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 13:51

Thanks @ForGiddyDreamerhopefully I’ll feel better soon - sounds so silly but the man I had my first child with is such an idiot and we’re so much happier with my new partner and he’d be such a great dad I feel like I’m letting him down

SureLook · 14/05/2025 14:12

@FlyHighSky72 I'm sorry you're so upset. It hits like a ton of bricks doesn't it? You won't be letting your new partner down. It's only your first cycle and who's to say it's an issue on your end? It could be his!

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 14:25

@surelookI know - you’re 100% right! I always feel like pregnancy stuff always feels like more of the woman’s issue even when it’s male factor (to me anyway) because it’s ‘in’ our body! If that makes any sense! I think I’m remembering correctly that it was my second month I caught with my first child
