@ForGiddyDreamerwhen is AF due for you?

@FlyHighSky72 my Flo app is predicting Monday which would be 14dpo exactly. That would be a 27 day cycle. Before the mc my cycles were maybe 28-30 and then since the mc and chemical they've been 35 and 31. So I am not sure really. I think it could be Wednesday or Thursday, we'll see.

@ForGiddyDreameri think Monday is when I’m actually due as well - I think I ovulated later (day 17 this month) and that’s pushed my period later! I’ve just made a June thread for us all if/when we need it

@FlyHighSky72 caved and did a FRER. BFN. I'll retest after Monday if AF doesn't arrive but I think I'm out too. I've been miserable all day. Going to allow myself a gin this evening in the garden. Have abstained whole TWW.

Hi all. 8DPO today. Caved and took a FRER, and it was stark white negative 😔 I know it's still very very early (AF isn't even due until 23rd), but still a bit deflated. Why do I test too early and hurt my own feelings? 😆

@hollyhocks2 thank you! I'm cautiously optimistic. Just a bit anxious after my MMC in January. But trying not to let the anxiety take over. Well done for holding out!

Negative test this morning, then spotting, mild cramps, stressy mood - it's clear that AF is imminent. I'm feeling sad but calm in this moment, and strangely grateful for the certainty that AF brings.

Hi all. 10DPO today. Held my nerve and haven't tested aagin. No AF yet but I'm getting spots, crampy, boobs are still sore. Pretty sure AF is on her way.

Thanks @cannynotsay ❤️ weirdly short cycle for me, AF started overnight so just 24 day cycle compared to my average 27/28. So pretty much by the time I could reasonably test, AF showed up. Simpler that way I guess! But am I right in thinking a short luteal phase is not ideal?

@hollyhocks2 sorry that AF showed. A short luteal phase is less than 10 days. You'd need to be consistently 'short'; this month might be irregular & caused by anything.

@FlyHighSky72 did AF come?

I started spotting yesterday & AF this morning - exactly as predicted by my Flo app which surprised me! I'll be seeing you on the June thread then. I felt much better by Sunday; I guess the drop in progesterone must have happened Saturday which is why I was a blubbing mess!

Still no bloody sign @hollyhocks2worried I might have lengthened my luteal phase too much - Premom was freaking me out saying that given when I logged my peak and then how long my cycle is that I only had a ten day luteal phase which was ‘abnormal’ so I read up and starting taking effervescent vitamin c and eating loads of fruit and now I’m panicking my period is never going to come!! I’m ready to start the new cycle now - come on!!!

@FlyHighSky72 oh love! It'll come soon enough I'm sure! And if it doesn't, then that'll be because you're pregnant hurrah! But I know your tests are whiter than white at the mo. It's confusing and infuriating I know. Is there anything you can do to distract yourself?

Hey can I join in, I have no idea what day in my cycle I am as I haven’t had a period since August 2023, had my second daughter in April 2024 and have been breastfeeding her since then and my period hasn’t returned yet!

I had a positive OPK 25th April but I don’t think I ovulated at that time as I since had another positive OPK on Saturday 17th, so I’m potentially 1dpo. But then I also had this very convincing test on Saturday as well but turns out it was a false positive 🥲

Going to try and wait until I’m 9dpo to test again. But only DTD 3 days before I potentially ovulated so I don’t think I have a very good chance of conceiving this month. I can’t track BBT as my daughter still wakes every 2-3 hours so I wouldn’t be able to get an accurate reading, hopefully I’ve actually ovulated this time!

@hollyhocks2 my luteal phase was shorter in my two previous cycles. I think everything was settling down post MMC.

@ForGiddyDreamer sorry AF came. But I'm glad you were feeling better yesterday.

She hasn't arrived yet but I'm having all the signs. I took a test this evening after a 5 hour old and yup, big fat negative 😔

Sorry I've been quiet, I got ill then my little one was ill, Aunt Flo came yesterday for me so out again this month unfortunately, hopefully better luck next month 🤞🏻🙏🏻

@hollyhocks2 thank you, I'm not actually that bothered about it this month for some reason, I think I realised I may have missed ovulation so wasn't counting this one properly really tbh, can you put the link here please? ☺️
