I have AF this morning and BFN. Maybe it was a chemical or indents.

Hello, hoping for some guidance as feel like I'm going crazy. My period is due today (day 31 but range is 31-34 days for cycle). I've been testing the past few days as felt really nauseous and had a couple of very very faint lines that come up right at the end of the time window for reading the test. I've done 2 clearblue early detection tests and both said 'not pregnant'. I'm inclined to believe these as they're early detection so should be sensitive, and they are meant to detect nearly all pregnancies this close to period being due. So I think I should conclude I'm not pregnant and stop obsessing over previous faint lines, right? Going to try hard to distract myself today but I could do with some moral support/ expectation management. Thanks in advance.

Hey, so my experience of the digital tests is that they are not sensitive at all and therefore don’t test early with them. If your lines are still faint on the little sticks then don’t use a digital. You’ve got a few days left, and before AF the tests will be faint, so be patient, every 2 days the line should get slightly darker/thicker, it’s not a lot mind. But I totally get the confusion and the want/need to test constantly. It will all work out I am sure. Sending baby dust to you

I know I’m late to the party, but jumping on. TTcC with PCOS, also on Letrozole. No njoy but I should be ovulating around now and have very light pink bleeding. Not had this before, could this be ovulation or something else? I ran out of my OPK tests and the ones I got from boots in the gap are awful!

hi all! I’ve been lurking so just finally commenting for a rant really. I lost the plot this month and convinced myself I was pregnant even though we aren’t properly trying right now and I haven’t tracked ovulation and I’m still breastfeeding so my cycle is all over the place. I went down the rabbit hole of symptom spotting and just had myself convinced! Obviously I got a BFN this morning and based on the last time we DTD, I would have expected to see something today if I was in fact pregnant. I just have to wait and see what happens with my cycle now and hope I can stop myself going crazy again next month 🙈 best of luck to everyone trying and congrats to those who have been successful! 💓

@Disneybride I never get any spotting with my ovulation but it could be that. Hopefully someone else comes along with a similar experience.

@Twoweekstoolong it's very hard not to fall down the rabbit hole sometimes!

I actually got my days muddled up yesterday and cycle day 31 is today. Still in the same situation with an incredibly faint line this morning, but have had cramps and headaches so feel like AF on the way.

@bananabread23 oh that is a faint pink line, usually good news…… was that line there within 5 mins of taking the test?……

Thanks to this thread, feel a bit better today. Very difficult to get back to trying again after getting disappointed.

@bananabread23i hope its a positive! I would look up the test and see if its renound for false positives and if its not then i would be celebrating as i defo see a line but evaps are so disappointing x

Thanks all. My experience with my DD was different - just had some very obvious positives including on a digital test before my period was due. Hoping timing of ovulation just different this time (I don't track properly, just use the Flo app) but obviously could be a false positive or even a chemical. Feeling anxious about what the next few days might bring... Hope everyone else is staying sane!

Very, very late to this thread! Needed to join as I’ve been loosing the plot. Cramping for over a week and feel like shit. Was hoping to be able to blame pg(!) for this but I don’t think I can.
I think (?) 12dpo. Negative frer today so looking unlikely. Will test one last time if no AF on Wednesday.

Welcome Bas27. It’s awful waiting isn’t it!! That’s what I hate about the early result tests. Without them there would be a few more days of hope but they sort of kill it when they’re negative don’t they.
still, some do get positives later so there is always hope.

In case helpful for others, I got a BFP on a digital today (~1 day after AF due) for 2nd wee along with a still relatively faint line on a Boots early detection with first wee. I've been having cramping for past few days and a mix of very faint and negative early detection tests. I thought the cramping along with the barely detectable lines meant things were going downhill as it isn't something I experienced with my first. However I have had nausea and some boob soreness and the positive digital test gives me reason to (cautiously) celebrate. Baby dust to all !

Hey everyone. I had a miscarriage last month and this is my first cycle since then. I ovulated on 18th April. Do we think this is positive? I’m going mad

@Balloonmumlooks positive to me! 10 dpo - looks like quite a strong line. 😊

@Objectiontime100% . We are ttc #3 and I forgot about the mental strain of all of this!
Out for this month as AF is here, but strangely feeling more settled! Time to move on to May!
