Thanks all! I had a positive on my CB weeks indicator with FMU today, so it’s finally sinking in. I had an early BFP at 10DPO last time too so not going to test anymore unless something feels wrong. My sense of taste is completely gone (can’t taste my Easter eggs!!) and am quite spotty which i never am - didn't have these symptoms last time.

It’s going to be a long journey as I now wait for my first scan. My EPU had offered early reassurance scan if I got pregnant again so will do that around the 6-7 week mark. Sending baby dust to all still waiting to ovulate or test!

you are lucky your epu are nice! I had 2 miscarriages back to back and when I was at the epu the last time they said they don’t offer early reassurance scans when or if fall pregnant again. Which is sad so we will just have to pay for a private scan I guess. Hope it all goes well

My AF has arrived today, a couple of days early. I wasn't really expecting much for this first cycle but I have learnt a lot from you lovely ladies which has been so helpful. Onto cycle 2 we go... xx

Hello everyone,

second month of ttc and experiencing pms symptoms and due AF on Sunday.
i have not tested as i have already ruled myself out and cant deal with the disappointment.

I know i am still so early in my journey and reading all of you guys stories puts things into perspective as many of you have experienced loss etc.

I felt like i gave it a good shot this month and even tho unlikely i still feel disappointment. I hope it gets easier as months go on.

This forum is really brilliant though and it’s nice to not feel so alone.

Thank you @Butterflygirl23 (the links for auto-nanes aren't coming up on my phone) and @SureLook . Pink dyes seem to be hands down the best so I've learnt that,except I have to drive for 1.5hrs to get one!!! We shall wait and see. Waning faith but weird taste in mouth today but no doubt coincidental. Congratulations @houwseevryweekend great that your symptoms were non cruel real ones instead of the merry dance of mirror symptoms that are sent to make us despair! I read on Cleveland Clinic website that even if a sperm does reach an egg that there's only a 25-30% chance fertilisation will occur (I think.it was fertilisation not pregnancy but will have to go back and check that). I thought when they met the odds were around 90 or higher...
that might explain a lot of why when the timing is right still no joy many months..
OK hope outside ttc land that everyone is doing well!! Will post if any clarifying development here such as AF or pos test (no doubt highly unlikely)

first post ever but been ttc #1 since may 2023 with no luck yet, on cycle day 25 my average is 27 but for the past week I’ve been having cramps and sore lower back , defo been moodier than usual and getting upset at the slightest thing.

I have a CB early and I am a bit scared to take it as I’ve had nothing but BFN for almost 2 years now

Ok lol so following my last post I have tested 12dpo and as expected BFN. I think for my sanity I have counted myself out this month. Just going to wait for AF on Sunday. Congratulations to everyone who got their positives and big hugs to people who got negatives! We got this! X

Well AF has arrived today, first month back TTC and why does it hurt so bad? I will cuddle my daughter extra tight tonight ❤️

@devma i know how you feel, we had a long break from TTC as had a family holiday booked and we’ve only just started trying again. We got this and all got each other!

AF came this morning. I'm glad I didn't test now and I just waited. I'm not feeling down like I felt last month. I had some quite strong cramps on Friday and Saturday which is unusual for me before AF. I think things are still settling down after my MMC. I'll be moving over to the May thread now. Best of luck to everyone still to test!

Hello! Sorry to hear about AF. Mine was the same this month, usually my cramp comes on the day of it but it lasted 2 days before it. I think our body likes playing tricks on us. See you over the May thread xxx

I’ve been so convinced I was pregnant! Been feeling tired, nauseous, didn’t really fancy any alcohol, loads of cramps since 3dpo and I remember always feeling like I was going to come on my period with DD. Just tested at 10dpo and it totally bfn. I’m so gutted.

Hi guys, I ducked off because I got a bit obsessed with testing almost daily and always negative. I came off the pill 4.5weeks ago now, and didn’t know where in my cycle I was and didn’t seem to catch note of ovulation either. I was just about to stop looking and wait for AF or think about the Drs, but this was this mornings test…… please tell me it’s not just my eyes…….

Cheap ones off Amazon the line is always so faint ( I had this!) you’re better off getting different tests but that it definitely positive
