Morning everyone, i’m out. 13dpo test thismorning showed a very faint line on a clearblue but it disappeared when it dried. Just waiting on AF now

I’m honestly gutted but I think the FRER’s gave me false hope, after researching them they seem to do what they did to me A LOT.

I feel like giving up😩 my heart can’t cope with the disappointment every month😭
I think I know we dont BD enough, my OH works away a lot so we only really get the chance once or twice within the peak window. This month it was the day before ovulation and that was it.
Same story every month before that too give or take a few days, I hate mentioning when “its time” aswell because he has a low drive😞

I’m so sorry, I think we are many that can relate ❤️ Just wanted to say that you shouldn’t be the only one ”responsible” for DTD. I said to my OH that I didn’t like the pressure of having to initiate it just because I know I’m in the fertile window, so now he asks me about ovulation and what the test shows, and initiates DTD so we can hit the right time.

I’ve come full circle - mine has ended in a chemical, just waiting to bleed now. Got to 4W4D, after never ever having a positive test before. Feel disappointed but holding onto hope that is happened at all.
Planning to track ovulation after my bleed and try again this cycle.. wish it would hurry up now!

it might only take one time - my one bfp this cycle was from the day before ovulation, not multiple tries xx

Awww I’m so sorry to hear this!! When I conceived in December we only BD the night before my peak and this time we managed 2 times in my potential fertile window but because I never saw my peak I don’t think il be in with a chance

give yourself some time to rest and re charge, it took me 8 cycles to conceive my baby girl but I never tracked my ovulation just went off ewcm

@devma ah I know how discouraging it can feel when it doesn't happen as quickly as we think it should. But there's a Japanese philosophy that babies come to us when they're ready, which is a nice thought and takes the pressure of us women. Until AF arrives there's always a chance but I know that sinking feeling of being out before it happens. As for DTD more - not sure it makes a huge difference but you could try home insemination kits or turn it to a bit of fun rather than sexy time? Agree with posters that your DH should also be proactive by checking your fertile period so it's not all on you.

@Muddysocks1 So sorry to hear. If your period doesn't arrive, is it worth a digital as test lines are so difficult to read sometimes. Hope you take care of yourself today.

I did a boots early at 8DPO as I'm travelling early tomorrow - was a BFN which isn't surprising. I'll next test on 10DPO Thu and if still BFN wait till my period this Sat. I have a feeling I'm out as I can see the pale yellow creamy discharge I had last cycle and I vaguely remember my discharge being more clear, watery on my BFP cycle. I won't be too upset though as I'll be able to drink on holiday and eat medium rare steak!

So my lines had got darker on easy at home then plateaued on Wednesday, stayed the same for a few days and then when I tested yesterday morning it was barely visible. Clear blue digital still showed 1-2 weeks, but I think the sensitivity is so low (10) that it was coming down but still there. I guess the bleed won’t happen until hcg is quite low though which is frustrating as seems it can vary in how long that takes. GP said to test in a week just to be sure (but I’m certain it’ll be negative)

Hi guys. So I did what I promised not to do once I got a positive digital and tested again this morning. I used FMU and a CB early and whilst there is a line there, it's really faint 😔 I'm now worried I'm having a chemical/miscarriage. My period is due today (no signs yet) but surely the line should be darker now? I've attached a picture. Argh,I shouldn't have tested again 😅

@DownWithCremeEggs Could be a faulty test or one of those tests that takes a while to get darker? Try with a pink dye test after a 4 hour hold. If you're not spotting or cramping that's a positive sign!

@devma I'm so sorry to hear this. It really is so disheartening and upsetting. Sometimes having a break and stepping back from it all is a good things. Book a brunch with the girls and a date night with OH. Do something really nice for yourself.

@DownWithCremeEggs I agree with @houwseevryweekend try again with a pink dye tests if you have one 🤞🏻

@DownWithCremeEggs I often find with these clearblues that if you even tilt the test at an angle, the dye runs backwards and can create a line there even if there isn’t or wasn’t originally.

@devma it can be a long journey and so so disheartening every month. The hope, the disappointment. I hear you. Have you thought about insemination? I keep seeing kits advertised to me but might be worth looking into, especially if you ovulate when your partner is away. xx

@Roxanna2000, oh no 😔 I'm worried it's so faint as I had a positive digital on Sunday so I was expecting it to be darker. So worried I'm having another missed miscarriage 😔

@Muddysocks1 im so very sorry that you are having a chemical. I just wanted to let you know that I also had a chemical last month. I started bleeding just after I’d have been 5 weeks. I continued on with TTC that next cycle and I’ve just had my BFP on Saturday. While I’m definitely not getting ahead of myself as I’ve had losses before, my tests are darker and progressing which they didn’t with the chemical. So I just wanted to give you a little bit of hope for the next cycle of it helps at all. Sending you lots of love xx

@DownWithCremeEggs what I mean to say is that these ‘line’ tests aren’t totally 100% reliable. The best advice once you have a positive digital is to step away from the tests! Easier said than done… I know. With my daughter I found the tests were sometimes lighter than others and it just causes us to freak out! Keep holding on and remind yourself that with the digital, you are pregnant. So much of TTC and even pregnancy is just a waiting game… 🤞🏻🤞🏻

can ask if anyone has had implantation bleeding and what that looked like in your experience? I've had some pinkish very light red colour when I've wiped today. never had this before and my period is not due for another week (it doesn't look anything like period) so now I'm symptom checking and driving myself crazy lol

I'm not 100% sure if it was implantation bleeding but at 10DPO, the day I had a BFP, there was light brown spotting. It lasted 2 days. I did have the light pink spotting last cycle (got excited) which I'd never had before but my period started early like a bastard. Implantation bleeding is supposedly pink, pale red or brown and never has clots. Am hoping yours is implantation!

ahh thanks for this, mine is definitely more pink, not really brown at all. I'll just try and exercise some sort of patience and see what happens in the next week or so. Easier said than done!!

This is what I had last week. One odd bit of pinky red blood on 2 wipes that’s it. Haven’t had it since. I had implantation bleed with my daughter well I think it was. I can’t remember what day on my cycle but I know it was leading up to my AF. It was light pinky colour mixed with CM. I only had it the once with my first pregnancy but not with my other 2 miscarriages

@2Sugars2 I've had implantation bleeding on both pregnancies, one successful and one MMC. Pale pink and only when I wiped. I was around 11/12dpo both times. I also got a positive test on the same day. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@Butterflygirl23 @SureLook thanks for your replies. Premom has me on 8DPO but I think I am more like 9/10DPO because I missed my peak. I'm trying to not get my hopes up as this is the first month of TTC after my partners vasectomy reversal so the chances of this happening on first attempt are wildly low. We've not even done the semen analysis yet. But I guess it's not over until the fat lady sings... or AF shows up!!
@Butterflygirl23 if you had this last week - when are you planning on testing?

A bit confused - OPK was positive on CD 17 but Natural cycles didn’t confirm ovulation until a few days ago and says it was CD22. If going with NC then we missed my peak.

Would your trust a positive OPK or BBT on Natural cycles??

@2Sugars2i don’t really know what mine was last week to be honest. Obviously I’m going off my Premom app and my ovulation cramps so I’m only 5/6. But if I was you I’d probably test if I was 9/10dpo lol like I probably will this weekend 🙈 I had a faint positive on 10dpo before
