Tips on how to not test before missed period

I tested early on my two pregnancies before and had two successful pregnancies then I had an early miscarriage and a chemical miscarriage last year and I was trying my hardest not to test early because of the heartbreak I experienced from the last two times. I’ve been trying this month and hoping I get a positive next month but I don’t know how I am going to stop myself from testing early, I worry so much after having the miscarriages anyone else finding it hard not to test so early x

@Laria19 @LaTable im 7dpo tomorrow, this morning I had a crampy feeling and I’ve had incredibly sore boobs since ovulation but that’s quite common for me so god knows! I’m off work for a week so i honestly don’t think I’ll be able to keep busy enough to stop myself from testing early😂 I don’t have any in the house so maybe I’ll manage until 8/9dpo lol, really hoping this is the month! Xx

After using one early test I decided that if I was gonna test again I was only gonna use the tests the require more hcg at least I could see a line progression. The second pic is a test from yesterday I know it’s bad quality but there was a very faint line and the other was from today. @LucyLou0527 I am hoping you get a positive result 🤞😊😊

Super faint 9dpo in the morning, then one I can see but I can't catch on camera on the evening. I only have one more test (thanks to a dog food run to the shops) so waiting for that one and making sure it's not chemical!

Wednesday if I can hold out when af is due! It's hubby's birthday too so lots of things to keep me busy hopefully

In terms of updates, it still feels very much in one day at a time territory. I got a CB 2-3 yesterday, but this morning I was bleeding a bit after sex. It soon turned brown and has now disappeared but needless to say it's made me very nervous.

It's so great that so many of us are on the November thread now! Fingers crossed - and sticky beans - for us all xxx

Wow 2-3 that must’ve been nice to see ☺️ah I’m sure it was just a bleed from having sex. But maybe mention it at your next gp or hospital app. Do you get offered early scans ? I agree it’s nice to be apart of the November thread xx

Has anyone had any cravings? I had a feeling I was pregnant because I was craving mangos, like I’ve been eating them every day and I can’t stop 😂I’ve always craved fruit or carbs on my girls

Hahaha nope, not so far, but I've only ever had 1 craving through all the pregnancies I've had, and it was my dd1 for like the whole first trimester all I wanted was sushi 🤣

Just 11. So I know it's still early but my brain started thinking too much and I needed to make sure it wasn't a definite chemical (which I know there is still time for ha)

Wednesday 😊 I may or may not have had all you can eat such like a week and ago.... I would happily go ago for every meal 😍

Fingers crossed all is well. There's been no more blood at all since midday yesterday. I've taken a couple more tests today because I was getting a bit paranoid that I hadn't seen any progression on the One Steps for a few days, and those are looking good so I'm now sitting on my hands until I next crack out the weeks indicator again at the weekend. My boobs are feeling a bit sensitive which I'm hoping is another good sign!

Oh thank goodness for the lines still being strong and no more bleeding. I guess you'll be getting him to keep it in his pants for a little while!

Also, sort of told my hubby? I was ike nah I don't think it's stuck nevermind on 8dpo and then he was there as I was staring at 9dpo first test going errrmm I think I see one.... he doesn't know I've done two more tests since then 🙈🙈🙈 he still thinks I'm holding out for Wednesday which I kind of am? But I'll maybe give it a few more days after that before I say yes, or maybe when I've got a doctors app at some point as I know the Dr will probably do an ultra sound too hahaha 🤞
I didn't tell him until he basically forced it out of me at 7 weeks with dd2 (after two mcs) and he thought I was pregnant before I knew it on the last mc (absolutely unplanned)

But then I also know if I say I'm pregnant I'll start thinking too much about miscarrying possibility so maybe I'll live in semi denial for a little while longer 😅😅😅
