@Danikii still don’t even believe I’m having a baby, let alone in 10 days 😂.
Bags are mostly packed, just a few bits to put in closer to the time. I just wanted to do some clearing out of the house but cba now lol. Need to finish sorting my daughter’s case for when she goes to my mums too, keep forgetting about that. Mum doesn’t live far and has a key, so if I forget anything it’s not an issue, I just like to be organised lol.

How did you feel after your section? I’ve never had any form of surgery so no idea what to expect and starting to get nervous now.

is your son still besotted with her? Gets me emotional every time thinking about them together 🥰😂

@Marie1990xyep he’s still very good with her 🤗 so cute! I know it’s mad to think isn’t it, all we’ve been though and finally over! 🥳 so the section is fine it’s so calm and relaxed, you won’t be too sore the day of but the day after you will be so keep on top of pain meds even if you think you feel fine! I would bring handy slippers/crocs you can slip your feet into as you won’t be fit to bend over to pull shoes on and take big underwear and loose clothes 😂 recovery not too bad but don’t push yourself and avoid lifting your daughter as you don’t want to pull an internal stitch! 🤗

Yeah I will definitely keep on top of them, try do anything to keep discomfort at bay.

I’ve just been through my bag again and feel like I’m missing loads but can’t think what 😅. Got lots of big knickers, loungewear and pj’s so guess they’re the essentials for comfort lol

@Daniki yep tomorrow argh! I’m on the morning theatre list, so all being well by this time tomorrow I’ll have a baby which is maaaaad! Super nervous and excited at the same time 😅.
Think we’re almost set, taking my daughter to my mums in a bit and then do a final check and try have a peaceful final evening before chaos commences 😂 xx

@Daniki he’s here safe and sound 😊. All went well thank you. Had him Monday morning and was home yesterday afternoon. Turns out he was breech so it’s a good job I had a C section planned. He’s a little dream boat at the moment, hopefully continues while I’m in pain from the surgery 😂

@Marie1990xyay massive congrat!! 🙌🏻🥰 delighted for you! Nice to get home so soon too, far easier to recover at home! How has your wee girl been with him?! Xx

@Daniki I was so happy to be out of hospital so soon! I do miss the ease of getting up from a remote controlled bed though 😂. I’m in a bit of pain but not at all how I’d expected it to be, definitely manageable.
She’s been amazing with him, absolutely adores him it’s so sweet. There’s been a couple of jealous instances, but more that she wants to be the one “looking after” him rather than jealous of him if that makes sense xx

@Danikihey hun, we’re all good thank you! Can’t believe he’s nearly 8 weeks old. It’s mad it’s gone so quick but also feel like he’s been here forever. Having a few issues with his feeding, doctors are monitoring him for potential cows milk or lactose intolerances which is fun 🙃. Hopefully get some answers soon.

@Marie1990x ah no way! We’re in a similar position, she’s been very bad with reflux since 9 weeks (17 now!) and been on losec. I’m feeling her myself but was hoping to switch her over to formula but she won’t take a bottle 😂 she is getting somewhat better we had awful nights of the nonstop screaming and crying at the start 😢 crazy he’s 8 week where does the time go!! How was your Christmas? 😃

@Danikiso sorry I didn’t get a notification you’d replied! Oh nooo it’s awful isn’t it! Glad she seems to be getting better though. Oh that’s frustrating she won’t take a bottle 😅 I mean it’s great you’re managing to feed yourself but annoying if you’re wanting to get her on a bottle! Poor thing.
We’ve been lucky that he’s a good sleeper at night, just wakes once in the night then goes back off, has been like that from the start 🤞🏼. But the day time he’s been so cranky recently 🤣. We have his jabs and health check tomorrow so see what they say about his reflux and rashes if they want to try the prescription formula or not.

Christmas was lovely thanks. We hosted so it was chaos at cooking time but was nice. How about you?

17 weeks, wow 🥲. Goes so quick once they’re here. I’m already grieving the baby stage and he’s still a baby 🤣

@Marie1990xi know im really grieving it too 😂😂 altho she was up all night last night so that took a bit of the urge off 🤣 back again this morn when she’s smiling at me! Ah the poor thing that sounds similar to her actually, she would be very cranky during the day but when she finally settled in the evening she slept great and only got up once or twice! I think she might be teething too she is constantly eating her hands and drooling so much 🙈 well done for cooking!! We were supposed to but MIL said she’d do it and I was glad then with bub being the way she is , I was stuck in the other room a lot of the day feeding her 😂

@Daniki hahaha yeah I feel that, when he’s being super fussy it’s great contraception 🤣. Was so good last night though, I went to bed at 9:30ish, my husband did the last feed at 11 and he slept until 5 so basically got a full nights sleep!
oh gosh teething stage already?? 😫😫 I am not looking forward to that
