I’ve just had the IVF convo with my husband. Didn’t get anywhere 😂. His response was “I don’t think we’ll need it”. As much as I appreciate the positive attitude, it’s been over 2 years with nothing so is he just oblivious or optimistic.
Obviously I’ll attempt the medication when I eventually get it, but asked if he’d consider it if that didn’t work and it was a “we’ll see, but still don’t think it’s necessary” 😣

@Marie1990x god men are just oblivious aren't they! 😩 altho he could be like mine and waiting for you to take the reigns with it? I just decided basically and booked a consult and he was like ok 🤣 I hope you get to do the med & trigger cycles if this doesn't work out. I'd give it 3 goes and then move on! But hoping the sore boobs are a positive sign 🤗

I don’t know what to do at the minute.

We have sort of let things slide health wise since the late miscarriage. The GP seemed optimistic that she would hope I was successful in 6 months as I did get pregnant before and it should have continued as a successful pregnancy.

@Daniki haha I think you hit the nail on the head. Nothing would ever get done in general if I waited for him to make decisions 😂.
Yeah I said I’d do 3-6 months on the medication (apparently it can take up to 3 months to even get into your system properly), don’t even know what course length I’m being given.

Have you tested with a digital yet? Or is it too early?

@PeachPombear oh maybe it’s because you had a pregnancy? Do they “start the clock” again so to speak with any pregnancy no matter the outcome? Which is daft in itself!

im trying over 18 months now
ive got dc but the is my first with a new partner.
all tests have come back normal, im almost 40 though so i think age is just making things take that bit longer

@Marie1990x no digital yet, might next week. I haven't actually told my husband iv tested positive, he thinks I'm being restrained. My beta is Friday so thinking of doing a digital and giving it to him as a valentines present before we go if I can hold it in that long 🤣

@Daniki that’s so funny 😂. I love how we all do secret testing and husbands don’t have a clue how obsessive they are.
That would be so nice to give him on Valentine’s Day. Not going to lie I have day dreamed about being able to give a positive test to husband then too 😂.

After my hycosy we’ll have our follow up appointment and get the medication. Unless something shows up on it I guess? I wish I didn’t have to have that procedure though as I’d probably already have had the medication by now without it. But because I had a traumatic birth with my daughter and she had sepsis, he wants to check I didn’t somehow get an infection that's gone unnoticed and harmed my tubes

Errrggh iv just had a really shitty day. I took my son to a party where he was pretty much the only 'single' child. Most had siblings or very pregnant mums there.

Then went to a catch up with NCT group where pretty much everyone has a 2nd! And one was telling the group that she was pregnant.

I'm happy for everyone and logically I know it makes no difference to my life as I barely spend time with this mum. But it just makes me feel soo shitty. I could hear her telling people around me but I could just feel the upset and panic rising in me. I just wanted to leave so I didn't have to put on an enthusiastic show about how happy I am for them ☹️

My partner is just like 'hopefully we'l be next'! I'd love to feel his positivity but I just feels impossible at this point!

@Marie1990x defo good to get it checked plus you would need it done if you ever need to go for IVF. A good tube flushing does everyone the world of good 🤣 have ya started testing yet? I tested again there and it's a bit lighter than yest so obv now I'm worrying 🙈 why can't we ever leave it at one test 🤣 glad I haven't told my husband tho just incase it goes the way of a chemical.

@whatdoyouthink123456 I hate those situations too, at work we had a new teacher start in sep. I had a miscarriage in oct and when i returned to work she told us all she was pregnant and we had the same due date. I honestly nearly got sick I had to leave and run to the toilet and burst into tears. Even now I find it hard to engage convo with her about anything baby related and as it's her first and I have a son she asks me loads of questions 🙈

@Daniki haha this is true, get it out of the way and hopefully give me a good nudge in the right direction. Nope haven’t tested yet. This weekend has been hectic so it’s taken my mind off it.
I did have a really really small amount of brown cm earlier. Think it’s too early to be any form of implantation and it was minuscule.

Oh no! Was it a diluted sample? Hopefully it’s just that and nothing more. How do you feel? Any symptoms?

@whatdoyouthink123456 those things are never easy. I don’t think people know how mentally tormenting it is for us that already luckily have a child and struggling.
I find myself getting worked up when I see pregnancy announcements but I try to think to myself that they might not have had an easy ride either. Makes me feel a bit better, whilst obviously envious at the same time 😅

@Daniki also fml that must have been hell having to sit through that whilst knowing her due date was the same as yours! What are the chances 😣

@Marie1990x hopefully it's implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I looked at the test again and it seems to be the same as yesterdays, il attach it below. I couldn't find my sharpie to write on them 🤣 yes it was so rough, and I'm usually good being around pregnant people as quite a few of my close friends are, and just had babies but this was so different 🙈

Oh I think that looks fine? It’s not got any lighter from what I can tell in the photos. Is it every 48 hours it doubles?
So if it’s just been a day then I’d try not to worry. Of course completely understand the anxiety and stress of it though. Have you told your husband yet?

@Marie1990x yea it fried a bit darker thankfully so trying to just reassure myself it's all fine 🤣 yea every 48 hours so it is technically darker thankfully the first one 🤣 xx

@Daniki absolutely much darker than the first test! I can’t believe you’re managing to keep it from him 😂😂. When I got my BFP with DD I struggled keeping it from him a few hours until he got home from work 😅.

These iron tablets are playing havoc with me. Was getting awful cramps on them last week so started taking them alternate days. Had one today and now getting cramps on just one side of my abdomen/hip/lower back. Thinking whether to just stop but keep trying to tell myself it’ll be worth it. Had them during pregnancy and had to stop as they made me sooo uncomfortable

@Marie1990x which ones are you taking? They're all quite hard on the stomach! I'm taking spatone I think it's lower in iron but as it's a water prob absorbed a lot easier? Haha usually in the same, I was like that last time but I feel a bit more guarded this time! I had told all my close friends last time but only told 1 that we have done the transfer! Xx

@Daniki just some from boots, I think they might be high strength so maybe I should have started on a lower dose. Ahh I’ll look into those!

Also, I’m not usually superstitious, but there were 4 magpies in our garden today (which I never see), so I’ve upped my TWW psychotic-ness by looking for superstitions 😂😂. If I don’t laugh at myself out of stupidity I’d cry 😅

@Daniki yes can definitely understand wanting to guard yourself. At least if you keep it to yourself for now you can figure it out in your head before having to say it out loud. I’m really hoping this is it for you though 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Marie1990x haha I am the same with superstitions. Especially when I look at the time and it's 11:11 and I'm making a wish 😂 hopefully a lucky year for us both 🙌🏻 xx

urgh I’m dreading this week. Need to try keep myself busy. Although with working full time and a 3 year old you’d think that’d keep my mind occupied enough 😅

@Marie1990x haven't tested yet, iv been testing in the evenings as usually get a better result 🤣 what about you have given in to temptation? 🤣
