@Marie1990xi wouldn’t worry too much could even out in the next few weeks! 🥰 they had told us the same at my 20 week and then when we were back in last night all was back in normal range 😂
BUT my waters broke last Thursday night 🙈 iv been in hospital since on bedrest and looks like in here to stay until baby comes 🫣 everything is looking fine tho so far and im near a week since it happened which they said is very positive! I love the dramas 😂😂

@souiiihopefully it works for you now before IVF-so many women it just worked before they started! 🙏🤞🏻

Marie1990x · 15/07/2025 18:16

@Daniki OH MY GOD!!!!!! So what happens now?? Bloody hell all the drama 😅

OP posts:
Daniki · 15/07/2025 21:33

@Marie1990xwait and see really! 😆 try and keep baby in as long as possible as im so early but have been on steroids and antibiotics since Friday to help prevent infection and help babies lungs! Will be in bed rest in hosp until baby comes as i live 2 hours away which is too dangerous incase of emergency 🙈

Marie1990x · 15/07/2025 21:56

@souiiifingers crossed for you! I found out I was pregnant a matter of weeks before I was due to start treatment after a long ttc journey, so definitely happens a lot! Keep up updates 😊.

@Daniki wow this is crazy and also exciting! Is there a certain amount of time they can keep baby in for after waters break? Or does that kind of go out of the window when it’s so early? How many weeks are you now? Thank god you’re in the right place and being looked after though, can only imagine how scary and anxious it is/was!

OP posts:
Daniki · 15/07/2025 22:23

@Marie1990xso they will monitor me and keep me here as long as possible but any sign of infection or feral distress then I have to deliver 🙈 I have no signs of either and scans showed fluid has reduced but baby still had some. If I could even get to 30 weeks it wouldn’t be as scary, 26 tomorrow so that’s almost a whole week on from it started and I didn’t go into labour so they said that’s very positive!

Marie1990x · 16/07/2025 07:27

@Daniki bless you what a whirlwind hey! How are you feeling?
I know a couple of people who had their babies before 30 weeks and they’re both absolutely bang on now. Also someone who had theirs at 32 weeks and again doing great 🤞🏼. It’s amazing what they can do now. All sounds positive though and you’re so strong!

Daniki · 18/07/2025 09:23

@Marie1990xsorry I completely forgot to reply-you’d think I was busy! 😂 all going well still anyway and im over the week mark since it happened so taking that as a positive. No pain or bleeding and baby fine has scan this morn, just will be a long time stuck on here 🙈

Marie1990x · 18/07/2025 19:22

@Daniki I was getting concerned that you hadn’t replied 😅. That sounds positive! Bless you, how are you passing the time in there???

OP posts:
Daniki · 19/07/2025 08:34

@Marie1990xim watching a lot of stuff on nowtv and Netflix 😂 downloaded a few games on my phone and my husband makes sure to be working in the area where im in hosp (as we’re 2 hours away) and calls into me for an hour and half during the day. He won’t be in today but he’ll bring my son up tomorrow so I can’t wait for that 🥰

Marie1990x · 19/07/2025 09:38

@Daniki that’s good he can work in the area! Bet you’re missing your son so much 🫶🏻 be so nice when you see him tomorrow. I can’t get over this is happening after everything 😅. At least you can have some rest there and just get binging those Netflix programmes. Are you managing to get some rest?

OP posts:
Daniki · 19/07/2025 09:46

@Marie1990xyea I am thank god hasn’t been too bad for sleeping, only thing is they monitor you ever try 4 hours so that still goes on during the night so they wake you up at 2am & 6am. Ironically getting more rest than I actually would at home! Iv left work in a bit of a lurch but they’ve been very understanding thankfully 😂 I know! Prob done it to myself with all the stress I had early on 🙈

Marie1990x · 19/07/2025 15:04

@Daniki obviously it’s great they’re monitoring so regularly, but frustrating when they have to wake you at silly times 😅. Yeah I can imagine at least the perks are you don’t have house work/work/childcare 😂.
Try not to think about work, I’m sure they’ll have it covered! It will be summer holidays now anyway, right?
Nooo don’t be silly in thinking that, just one of those unfortunate things that can’t be helped and you’re in the right place 🫶🏻

@Daniki how are you getting on?

OP posts:
Daniki · 22/07/2025 19:02

@Marie1990xim good, still here and baby still inside! Just getting really fed up 😆 and have to try and talk myself out of it because at most I have another 10 weeks here as they will section me at 37 weeks if I get that far 🙈

how are you getting on? Xx

Marie1990x · 22/07/2025 20:11

@Daniki aww good! I keep wondering how you’re getting on 😅. Not surprised you’re getting fed up, I’d be going out of my mind. Is there anything around the hospital you’re allowed to go to? Or strictly staying put? 10 weeks Jesus Christ 🫣🫣. Obviously hopefully baby stays put that long but that’s a long time to be in 😅. Feel for you!

I’m all good thanks. Started feeling a bit sick and shit again for a few days, but easing again now thankfully. Baby boy is having a major party in there these days, so it’s nice to have the reassurance of movements xx

OP posts:
Daniki · 22/07/2025 20:30

@Marie1990xoh hopefully that does don’t want to be back on the sickness train!! It’s lovely to have those movement, i forgot how strong they get 😂😂 the constant monitoring is nice in a way as i get to the hear the heartbeat every 4 hours but annoying during the night 😂 I know I really panic thinking about 10 weeks tbh 🙈 so hard to know when it’s going to happen really hate the loss of control. Can’t go anywhere really yet but they did say if I get past 28 weeks I could go out in the weekend for a walk around, my hosp is right in the city centre! So we were thinking my husband would bring my son up that wknd and we could go out for some nice lunch just to get out! I do take a walk down to the shop every day to get orange juice and just go and stand outside the hosp for a few mins, altho I’m sure everyone thinks I’m there to smoke along with all the other pregnant mothers smoking outside 🙈

Marie1990x · 22/07/2025 20:44

@Daniki yeah that’s great you know exactly how baby is doing practically constantly, a little perk of being in there 😊.
Ahh that will be lovely if you can do that, at least you’d have something to look forward to weekly and something different.
Oh god it’s crazy how many smoke when pregnant isn’t it! I used to work in a hospital and it astounded me when I first saw it

OP posts:
Daniki · 22/07/2025 21:09

@Marie1990xyea it’s crazy, and so brazen standing outside with a massive bump like smoking or vaping away! The heat in here then aswell is horrible and I’m just listening to ladies being induced and go into labour all day every day 😂😂

Marie1990x · 23/07/2025 17:16

@Daniki at least do it where no one can see you 😂😂.
Ah bless you, hopefully these weeks go quick for you. Are you in a ward or your own room? X

OP posts:
Daniki · 23/07/2025 17:36

@Marie1990xim in a ward! Would love my own room 😂 an awful emotional day I got barely any sleep and woke up in such a bad mood then 🙈 the doctors every day make a point of telling me il be here for a long time, it’s so annoying because I know! So I half snapped at the doctor earlier when she asked me do I realise il be here for a long time I quite sharply said YES 🙈😂 and then crying all day at absolutely anything 🙈

Marie1990x · 23/07/2025 18:23

@Daniki completely valid to get frustrated with that! As if you don’t know you’re going to be in there a good while and need to be constantly told! Must be so hard, I really feel for you. How mad is it though that when you next go home you’ll have your baby! Has your day got any better?

OP posts:
Daniki · 23/07/2025 19:08

@Marie1990xyea I’m feeling ok now my husband was in earlier and he usually knows how to calm me down 😂 I know it’s a mad thought! Just such a waiting game now of when will they come!

whatdoyouthink123456 · 28/07/2025 11:16

Hi @Marie1990x& @Daniki, how are you both getting on?

@Danikiiv just been reading the thread. I can’t believe you are in hospital. How are you doing? How far along are you now?

@Marie1990xhow are you getting on?

Im doing alright. I got married last weekend which was lovely but very stressful with the bad weather.
I'm 12 weeks now, iv got my scan on Friday 🤞🏻 quite nervous. Iv still got awful symptoms, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I feel like a walking, vomiting zombie most of the time x

Marie1990x · 28/07/2025 11:55

@whatdoyouthink123456 oh wow 12 weeks already! Time is flying. Congratulations on your wedding 🥰 hope you had the best day celebrating!

ahh hope your symptoms calm down soon, as horrible as it is keep reminding yourself it’s a good sign 😅. Mine lasted until about 17 weeks I think (on tablets), briefly came back around 20w but stopped again now at 22.

I’m doing good thank you. Baby boy is kicking away which is nice to have that but of reassurance now.

@Daniki how are you getting on? I thought I’d replied to you before 🤣.
