@Marie1990xi would self refer! That’s what I usually do I don’t bother with GP as not much they can do really at the start, and at least you’re on the books. I’d say cuz you had your daughter there you would be seen. I know here you could refer to any hospital you like, mine is 2 hours away but it’s actual maternity hospital and I’m considered high risk so safer xx

@Daniki yeah I’ll definitely self refer there. My husband wants me to go to a different one, as we didn’t have a great experience last time, but I know it well and everyone else I know has had great experiences. I’m still waiting for a bit before I do anything though.
it’s the community midwife side that is at my GP’s, such a ballache being separate.

@Marie1990x what app where you using for your tests ?

@RRAEE I think it’s just called “pregnancy checker app”, looks like this.

It’s great, you can change colours on tests etc as well as posting them and people vote whether they think it’s positive or negative

so accidentally did a HGC test instead of a LH one as gunna give those another go but any way i got a real faint line on it and im 100% sure its an evap as just had my period 😂 cuz theres zero chance 😂

@Daniki yeah im pretty sure it was as i had bad cramps on the first day. I think it was a bit lighter than normal but not by much mine only last 3 days anyways.

Im pretty sure it was an evap as was very faint and completely diff brand to the other ones. 🤷🏻‍♀️ might do another one in the morning just to double check tho.

@RRAEE3 days, omg I’d love that mine last almost 10 🤣 you never know, my friend who just had a baby, had what she thought was a period but tested positive then! She has very light periods normally too so didn’t think anything of it. 🤞🏻

@Daniki yeah there’s quite a few to be fair. My husband wants us to go to the city centre one but it scares me with the amount of traffic etc so want to avoid it.

I am absolutely wiped. I had to have a nap this afternoon I literally can’t keep my eyes open. Never a napper 😴😴

@Daniki @Marie1990x not sure think they are one step. Ive been feeling a bit more emotional and crampy than i normally would be at this point as im meant to be CD11 and i dont normally ovulate til around CD 18-21 ish. I think its probably nothing. Havent said anything to my partner espc after last time.

@Marie1990xsame iv been cleaning and cooking all day as my friends from home are coming to mine for a small housewarming and I feel like iv went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson 🤣 I was in bed at half 8 last night! Yea mine is city centre which is a dread, and we were always nervous what would happen if traffic was mental and parking is a nightmare but with my son my waters broke on a Sunday eve and it was 1am when we got there so was ideal! 🤣

@RRAEEi don’t think I got Evaps with one step but hated them for progression they seemed to always stay so light, when I changed brand the difference was amazing!

@Daniki i wont take anything as a positive unless confirmed by a doctor after last time. But i keep feeling like im going to come on even tho ive just been on if that makes sense.

how are you getting on ?

@RRAEE can’t remember much about one step so I’m not entirely sure. Definitely worth re-testing though 100%.

@RRAEEoh id defo be guarded too after the last time that was awful! Could be all good signs 🙏 I’m good have been fairly sick now the last week or so but don’t seem too bad thankfully maybe it’s easing! Have a scan next Friday and can’t come quick enough I can feel all the anxiety creeping in!

@Marie1990xiv made brownies cheesecake banana bread and I’m about to put together a load of sandwiches for an afternoon tea job 😅 I can’t wait for bed! But my wee man had a nap today so he’ll be up to all hours 😭 ooh I like nosecco actually I find it nicer 🤣

@Daniki ooooh that sounds delicious! 🤤. I’m not a huge fan of the nosecco, it’s too sweet. I’ll have to try find something else, I remember the 0% gins were quite nice last time, especially in the summer 😂.

I used the old “I’m on antibiotics” excuse, and one friend was like “are you heck, you’re pregnant aren’t you”, I just smiled so didn’t confirm or deny but obviously they know 😂😂.

@Daniki Oh noooooo the sickness really isn’t easing up yet is it! Ooooh that’a definitely possible isn’t it showing earlier with second pregnancies! How are you feeling today, other than the dreaded nausea 😣.

I have been testing yep of course 😂. I’m now out of boots ones, but I’ve officially missed my period (was due Saturday/Sunday) and got my 2-3 weeks digital this morning 🫶🏻. I’m going to stop testing now, except do another digital next week to hopefully see the 3+ 😊.

Booked my early scan for the 13th April, think I’ll only be about 7+5 (and a few days earlier due to my longer cycle), so aware we won’t see much but just hoping for a heartbeat 🤞🏻

@Marie1990xfab!! 🤩🤩 how exciting! That’s a good time, as definitely should be seeing something at that stage. Are you having any symptoms? Yea defo not easing after getting sick in work 🫣🤣

@Daniki fingers crossed! I went a bit earlier last time and saw a little bean with the heartbeat, so hoping for the same if not a bit clearer 🤞🏻🤞🏻. I’ve msgd my GP asking if I can have a HCG blood test before telling my fertility consultant, I doubt they’ll do it but thought it’s worth a shot.
Nothing too drastic symptom wise, my boobs are still in absolute bits, started a week before AF was due which is why I was certain I was out 😅 and just progressively getting more and more painful, And got a drinking headache. Didn’t have either of these with my daughter.

Do you have anything other than the sickness? Ooooh your work are going to have suspicions soon 😂.

@Marie1990xmy boss knows thankfully as I had to tell her with all the appointments iv been having 🤣 will be on Easter holidays then when I turn 12 weeks so hopefully all is good and can just tell them when we’re back, my booking app is the first day back at school so il be off anyway 🤣 iv the sore boobs, tiredness and sickness but that’s about it really. Have the odd crankiness and pulling sensations but iv never really had obvious symptoms that you see people mention! Defo headaches but I’d suffer then anyway so it’s nothing new 🤣

Oh yes of course you’ll have the Easter holidays off, that’ll be lovely to go off for you 12w scan then can go back to work with good news 🥰.

Yeah same! I think I’m too early for any wild symptoms, but didn’t get them last time either really. I rarely get headaches so this is deffos a new one. I weirdly like my boobs hurting as it reminds me somethings going on in there 😂.

I sent a request to my GP and the receptionist wrote back saying she’ll ask if I can have the bloods, so at least it’s not an outright no, just yet!
