I'm 11dpo and stark white BFN this morning. However, have just started having some spotting and now I can't decide if it could be implantation bleeding or early AF! Aaaaaah, I know the only way to be sure is to wait until tomorrow and AF will either start completely or not but its driving me bonkers googling!

Do you think there's any chance it's implantation bleeding with a BFN at 11dpo?

@abi555 yes it very well could be? They say that implantation bleeding usually coincides with when our periods are due! It’s so fustrating that pregnancy symptoms are also pretty much the same as pms symptoms! It’s a waiting game and the days seem to drag don’t they! 🤦‍♀️ also your body won’t have produced enough hcg if implantation hasn’t occurred yet so that’s why the test would be negative. Crossing my fingers for you. ☺️x

My clear blue digital is showing flashing smiley face but the premom is low at 0.16?!?

im still recovering from virus so doubt il try this month however we are away wednesday night for a wedding so may baby dance then, is it too late?

@Lavenderrose92 if the line on the stick was as dark as the control then go with that rather than the number on the app. Premom numbers are meaningless and depending what light you upload the photo in it can give you a lower reading than what you see in real life. I believe the digital ones are prone to false positives from what I’ve read. But if you’re getting positive OPKs you’re likely to ovulate tomorrow, the egg can live for up to 24 hours so you might catch it on Wednesday but I’d be looking to DTD tonight too just to cover it. If all else fails they say just have sex every other day.

I'm also a lot heavier than I have been in previous pregnancies. Trying to be sensible with eating and including a bit more movement. My last pregnancy my bmi was almost 30 and it's currently 32

Morning! I also have a short lut phase, usually 11days - cycles seem to be getting longer.. trying not to worry but something is telling me it might be an issue. It's so hard not overtthink x

Okay so I have taken another test today - am I going mad or is there a faint line? X

I was googling short luteal phases and I’ve read some threads on here - a lot of women have it and it wasn’t an issue for them, I read a little bit on how to make them longer but as it’s our first month I don’t want to read too much as it will only make me worry more.

Currently CD31 but feel like AF is on her way. When I first came off the pill (2yrs ago) my cycles were 34 days, it’s only in the last 12 months that they’ve got shorter.

Try not to worry about it - there’s so many factors to it all. It amazes me how people who are not TTC actually manage it!

@MakeMeJuno @EEB1989 I also have a luteal phase of 11 days. When I look online at what is considered a ‘short’ phase it seems to vary massively from 8-12 days!

I am not too worried though as I have been pregnant before which was accidental! And I have seen stories on here of women with shorter phases who get their BFP. I’ve been TTC for 6 months now but it could just be to do with age etc x

Anyone else continuing to be bloated and have cramps post ovulation this month?

My apps are all over the place with when they say my period is due but I know my cycle is 24-26 days so should be due on by the 16th at the latest. I’ve never had cycles longer than 26 days even pre pregnancy with my daughter and I’ve got Flo set to a 26 day cycle but it keeps giving me a 28 day cycle in the calendar 🙄 I’ve deliberately not bought any tests this month, I have one cheap one that can be used on the 16th if AF doesn’t arrive. My OPK lines have also been all over the shop so don’t know if I ovulated on CD12 or 14 as lines were just as dark as control on CD11 then got dark again on CD13, who knows. So I can’t possibly be stressing about the TWW as I’ve no idea what’s going on 😂

@Kateb149 @EEB1989 thanks for both replying!! I agree it isn't a concern really, but you know when the anxious thoughts take over... I had a CP last month so just worried it's related to the short phase but have to remind myself CP are so common usually bcos something wrong with the embryo not me! I have heard evening primrose oil helps so am taking that when I remember...

6 months feels like such a long time when you're living in, but it's really normal - I know that can be annoying to hear. CD14 here but not expecting to ovulate until next week... I get weirdly jealous of people with shorter cycles lol it feels so long to wait. Just got to be patient.

I totally get it, when AF arrived earlier this week my anxious thoughts took over and I had a big cry. But feeling a lot better now. So sorry to hear about the CP ❤️ it must be extremely hard but you are right it was more than likely just not the right embryo.

I have to keep telling myself that 😅 thank you, I know anything up to a year is normal it just gets to me sometimes. Hope your week goes quickly for you.

Oh wow hadn’t heard of evening primrose helping a short LP, I think I may have one some months too. Will look in to that.

I got my peak on OPKs last night so DTD last night, will tonight and Tuesday. Only second month trying but still feeling hopeful.
If I do fall pregnant this month it'll be due same time as my DS's birthday so not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

No idea if it works but makes me feel like I am doing something at least 😂

@MakeMeJuno @Kateb149 @EEB1989 Just to add to this, my luteal phase is 10 - 11 days and I conceived previously without assistance. It always plays on my mind but everything seems to suggest it really isn't a problem in the mid- to long-term.

CD7 today here, finished Round 2 of letrozole so we'll see what happens. This part of the cycle is so boring!

I'm out for the beginning of the month, first period since DS was born was 3rd Dec, still no period but tests have come back negative. Prior to him I had 31 day cycles.

In theory I should ovulate again in Jan though but to test in Feb, so not sure whether to stay here or move groups!

I finally got an almost BFN this morning after my early MC in December. It was still positive but a total squinter and the faintest it's been so I won't test again now as confident if I tested tomorrow/weds it would be fully negative. Due to still bleeding a few days ago but getting ovulation symptoms (EWCM and cramps) I did do an OPK and should actually be 3DPO today if I actually ovulated. And we were DTD in the window so might be in with a chance this month! I won't be testing early though, don't want to drive myself mad again! If I did actually ovulate AF should be due 17th Jan but obviously I have no idea what the MC will have done to my cycle so guess we'll just see! I'll be watching this group closely so I can squint at other tests instead of my own ☺️

@MummyV2021 fingers crossed for you! We’re very similar, I had a CP in December and AF due on 16th this month so let’s see what happens. Hopefully it’s good news for you 🤞

Oh wow, potentially cycle twinnies! Will keep everything crossed for you lovely! I've had a few CPs and early MCs across my 2 lots of TTC now but this one starting just says before Christmas hit a little different. I'm not getting my hopes up this month but it would be lovely to get a BFP that sticks!! Our time is coming!

It’s horrible just before Christmas isn’t it. We thought we’d be telling my family lovely news on the 25th but it wasn’t to be. I’m sure 2025 will be the year for us both!! Hopefully AF doesn’t show up next week for us. I’ve been having some strange feelings so hoping it’s not PMS related. I have some progesterone tests, stupidly did one late afternoon today even though it says to do with first urine and obviously it was negative so will try with that again in a couple of days.
